There are some images that stay with you for the rest of your life, and mine are all stained with blood. This war has raged too long, but the next blood to be spilled will be at my hands. Leo, Ezra, Jameson, and Jagger have always been the most important things in my life, and now my heart is broken, my soul destroyed, and I’m taking no prisoners with my vengeance. Robbie thinks he holds the strings and I’ll suddenly become his puppet. But he doesn’t see the match he lit inside of me, and I’m ready to burn his world to the ground. Chaos is coming, and my days of standing on the sidelines are over. There’s a new boss in Emerson Grove and her name is Lou-Lou Carter. Now hand me my crown, and Watch Me Reign.
Watch Me Reign is the third and final installment in the Emerson U series.
I really wish I could give it more than 5⭐. You blew me away with this KC. I love loulou and all her guys. A queen amongst her kings. And wow didn't she just fit her role. She will never let anyone again underappreciate her and her strength. I love how you managed to incorporate the other two series into this last book! We all definitely need a inner loulou and Luna. Though, I'm hoping if you do it as a box set that maybe you'll add a part of Loulou meeting "Ian" our friendly chauffeur who we adored in featherstone.
Book: Watch Me Reign Author: KC Kean Recommend: Yes Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years
Plot: Book 3 picks up where book 2 left us. Jagger being shot, and rushed into hospital. He ends up in a coma. After a visit form Robbie we are left heading to Jagger funeral, only to find out it was faked and Jagger is in fact alive and in a safe house receiving with Nurses there. LouLou gets down and dirty int his book, she gets to show off her Gun skills, and gets to put a bullet in some gang members skulls. She also gets revenge on Vince and his dad, and they manage to kill Robbie. The book ends with them all meeting Luna Steele and becoming members of the Featherstone Academy with Ryan. The book ends with the boys asking Loulou to marry them.
My feelings:
I freakin loved this book, and the ending. I didnt want it to end! I wanted another book! There is so many nuggets in there but so maybe they might be answered in another book??? I mean one can hope.
Can we talk about Ian being her dad!!! Omg I loved Ian in Featherstone! He was the sweet, polite and beautiful driver!!! I had pictured him to be younger when I read the series, button I cannot imagine him as anyone but some sweet dad redeeming himself.
“They tell me his name is Ian now, and he works at some Academy as a chauffeur. Turned his life around and left us in the dust. A fate in your bloodline you definitely don’t wish for.”
Ryan, oh man you just roll in with allllllll the sweet heart feels, for a man who didnt lead with his heart till Bethany he is now all about the hearts on his sleeve and mushy declarations. I love him.
Jagger, oh baby. The tough ones are always the most sweetest of them all. He had some of the most sweetest Deep words for LouLou. I love him so much, his is so my favourite of the day!
“When I look at you now, all I see is my everything. My past, my present, and my future. You’re the strongest woman I’ll ever know. You came from the same world we did, and now you stand before me making it your bitch, and not the other way around.”
Jameson, dude this guy is killer, I love his words and I love how he and his brother are just so in tune with each other. I loved how they finished there dad together.
’I’m not an Arrow, not like my Kings… I’m the motherfucking glue that holds all of the pieces together. They’re about to feel the wrath of a queen.’
Leo, oh you made my heart bleed with what happened to him. I mean seriously I was thinking he just got hurt and didnt wanna talk about it. But he truth killed me. It showed me why he was the joker of them all. He hid a lot behind those jokes.
“Luce, I need your answer so I can get up there and fuck you over that railing before the sun completely goes down. Don’t ruin my vision for the rest of the evening,”
Ezra, I struggled soooomuch with this one. My 8 year old son has the same name so those spicy chapters were had to get past! I had to change the name in the head the whole time. I do love the nerdy aspect of him! He would be a massive asset to the Ryan security Group for sure.
“I was scared when you came to Emerson Grove, scared I would only catch another glimpse of you before you slipped between my fingers again. I took a chance, it was a gamble. But being with you is anything but a gamble. A gamble implies I have a choice, and I have no choice at all but to love you. Wholly. And I have, for as long as I can remember.”
Highly recommend anything by KC Kean. These are the best books ever!

My actual friggin heart. I AM IN LOVE with the Emerson U series. But holymotherofdarkness the conclusion to this series is pure friggin fire 🔥
Instantly we pick up where book two left off and my heart was in my mouth and tears where brimming. This is an intense, dark & beuatifully heart wrenching journey and conclusion and utterly perfection.
Luella absolutely takes her crown in this installment and i am allfrigginforit. Luella needed to take her crown and showcase her inner strength and she does this in style.
Jagger & Jameson really snuck into my heart as they definately hold the alpha titles and damn they really show their caring and softer side within the journey.
Now shutthefrontdoor Ezra & Leo are MY MEN. I absolutely adore these two and they continue to leave me in swoonworthy terroritory.
Well first off I'm happy to say that I got a giggle over how she handled the two v's.
Does anyone else wonder what exactly Robbie had to see Victor about that was so important? Cuz I do It's confused me and makes me wonder and stress me out lol. I want to know it was so important that he had to see Victor so urgently.
I can't wait to find out about Ian and naomi. I'm assuming it's not in and Naomi together but individual stories for them. I would like to see Ian reunite it with his family. Everyone deserves a second chance.
And for Naomi I would love to see her double crossed and wiped off the earth. But that's just me. What do I know?
I think my question to the author would be what did Robbie need to see Victor about so badly LOL. And why did Vincent think he owned lucy. They just never explained all that.

What can I say - I love your work! I truly enjoyed this book and finding out the ending to Lou-Lou’s story. The character pop ins from other series was well tied in. I will miss the extended world that you have created but maybe it won’t be the end of it Lou-Lou is a kick ass FMC. Love her sass and her relationship with the guys. This book was twisty as well as spicy 🌶 🥵🌶 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Luella, Ella, Lucy, Lou-Lou..no matter what you call her..she is is the boss lady and the mother f**kin QUEEN and the glue that holds all of the pieces together. They tried to take what’s hers, and now she will show them a Queens Wrath and how far she will go to protect her Kings. All 4 of them. This quote from the book pretty much sums up my whole review.. “It’s everything, it’s too much, and not enough all at once.”
This final book was the PERFECT conclusion to Lou-Lou’s story. If you were waiting until it was complete before reading..now is the time! DIVE IN!
Great Job once again KC! Your series are always a 1 click for me..I can’t wait for your next series..I’m sure it’ll be another 5 stars from me!🥰
‘The wrath of a queen’ The start is amazing, the grief, the loss, the retribution. There are some crazy bombs dropped that link in with KC’s other books that honestly blindsided me - fantastic twists that when you think about them are absolutely genius- yep mind blown 🤯 great to see previous series characters popping up and being useful with their skills. I love seeing them pull together and step up against their enemy, the grit, the determination and Luella’s sass - all while having off the charts steamy scenes, let’s be honest they were hot AF! The detail and emotion in this book just pulls you into the storyline, I couldn’t put it down until the very last word. Luella/LouLou/Lucy/Luce/Ella/La-La Carter is a queen- love her character. Lou Lou takes on a slight Luna/Featherstone academy vibe that’s in this book. The blood, death and the ‘win or die trying’ aspect of it all, which makes for a hell of a wild ride / journey the book takes you on. I love KC’s style of writing, it consumes me, I have to actually blockout a specific time slot to read her books as I know that once I start I won’t stop until I’ve reached the last page - the storylines are so intriguing and I get completely captivated. Overall an absolutely fantastic ending to this series, I can’t wait to see what KC writes next.
Overall I really enjoyed this series. I do feel like it got less interesting as the books went on but I truly loved the relationship between Luella and the guys and that was enough to keep me going through the end. The spice is great, sometimes a little cringe at first, like the lead up to it but once the spice is happening, boy is it happening!
I do feel like the plot left a lot to be desired. I’m all for more spice than plot but I felt like a lot of the plot points just didn’t make sense. I also felt like the author couldn’t decide if these guys were big tough gang members or if this was their first rodeo because they talk a big game like they are the Arrows and this is the life they were born into but then do stupid stuff that if they knew what they were doing wouldn’t have happened. It felt like a lazy way to further the “plot” but it came across as the writer not really knowing much about how to write about the “dark” part of the dark romance.
Overall though, the relationship and character building keep you around and I’m not mad I finished all 3 books.
This book gave me all the feels from the beginning, I’ve loved Lou Lou since I first met her in Eden’s books and then when she got her own series and we where introduced to the four guys I loved them even more.
She is a confident, strong, feisty, badass female who takes no prisoners. I love her attitude to everything and she always stands her ground!
The emotions I went through in this book are huge, I wanted to cry so many times and my heart literally wanted to break 😭 why did you want to do that to me?
The boys are just there usual amazing selves, I think I love Leo a little more now though 😍 but Jagger will always be my favourite 🖤
The spice was seriously hot 🥵 as usual and the extra bit added into it was amazing (once you read it you will know what I’m saying) 😜
Wow the violence in this book went up another level, the details where described pretty well in that I felt a little bit sick 🤣
What can I say other than I loved it from start to finish adbd that ending couldn’t of been more perfect 😍
Dear Chapter 6&7.... I hate you, HATE YOU so much! You are both horrible chapters, and I will keep going because this book is just too dang good. How did KC Kean do this? This book is perfection, absolute perfection. This is such an epic ending to this series.
I have yet to find a book by this author that I didn’t absolutely love & she just keeps bringing it. I love Lou-Lou is officially one of my favorite female leads, she is just epic. And don’t get me started on the steam in this book 🥵🥵🥵🥵.
What an ending to the trilogy!! I absolutely adored this book and couldn’t read it fast enough, especially after that mean cliff hanger of book 2! There were parts that had me welling up😢 to laughing out loud to moments where my heart felt like it could burst. The crossover parts were amazing and fitted in so well with Luella’s story. I’m seriously going to miss reading about Luella and her men. 🖤
Lou Lou’s story is one of my favorite! And I love that all 3 of KCs stories are interconnected! This book was an emotional journey that’s for sure. Lou Lou and her guys are absolutely out through the ringer time and time again. This book is bloody and violent and everything good! I’m so sad their story is ending!
I received an arc from the author and I’m so happy that I did. Thank you so much KC for this bloody brilliant world you have created!
"You either walk like a king... Or like you don't give a f*ck who is."
This should be everyone's motto in life... What a f*cking line... I love it 😍
I was very lucky enough to win an arc for this awesome book... First arc I've ever won from KC and I'm so happy it was this book 😊
Lou-lou is such a bad ass queen in this book the charcaters growth 👨🍳💋 such a change from indesive girl we met in book 1&2 lou really came into her own in this book she bloomed into a bad a$$ boss lady before our very eyes, defending her family and not letting anyone get in her way.
The guys are still amazing protection their queen to the very end... I love it and I even forgive you for chapter 7... If you know you know... Actually broke me but it was all OK in the end 🙊 perfect ending loved seeing old faces again from different series too😊🥰🙊
Chapter 20 definitely my favourite chapter of the book... And lets just say ice cubes aren't just good for keeping your drinks cool on hot summer days 😏🥵🥵🥵 again if you know you know 😏🤫
I actually loved this book, not a dull moment thank you again kc for the arc 🥰 in exchange for an honest review 😊
Wow, this author continues to blow me away! I absolutely love how all the series have been connected in some way, shape, or form. I was hooked from the very first page just like I have been for all her other books as well! Can't wait to see how she does with paranormal!
Oh finally... I finished. After getting about 25% into this one... I just needed it to be over. That sounds harsh, but its my truth.
How to review this book (and subsequently this triology)??? First of all, I read Featherstone and LOVED it until the very end. It all ended to easily and cleanly. Then I read Toxic Creek and the characters were younger and it was very high school for me. And AGAIN the ending was anticlimactic. Picked up this series and here we are AGAIN with an ending that wraps up so cleanly. Maybe I read too much angsty stuff where the characters have to fight and claw their way to a HEA. This one was better than toxic creek because we did have the drama surrounding Jagger.
This series also still needs major content editing. The age that they all met initially changed at least 3 times. There were other scenes that didn't completely make sense. I didn't see grammar/spelling errors, but there were issues with the plotline and content.
There are also a couple things I wanted that I didn't get:
Overall, I can say that I liked the series. I didn't love it and I don't know that I would specifically recommend it unless it fit the needs exactly for what someone is asking for. I am tempted to say that this just might not be the right author for me but I really wanna give the new Paranormal series a chance.
-omg, Lou Lou is such a fucking badass. -Jagger 😭😭😭😭😭😭 -Jameson is still my favorite -Ezra is a fucking cutie -Oh my poor Leo. Lou Lou is gonna make it rain body parts (Also, that table scene? Holy fuck.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥) -OMG, EDEN!!! -All the happy, swoony, sexy feels -That epilogue 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I will have a more thought out review soon, but omg ya'll aren't ready for this!! I'm sad to see them all go, but I'm so happy with how everything ended!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **
Predictable, anticlimactic abrupt ending with details from other series withheld.
This was a good story if anything. I do like my reverse harems every once in a while, especially if they hold some suspense however, this trilogy was entirely too predictable. I enjoy suspense stories with twists and turns. This had none. The one cliff hanger you were dropped in was entirely readable and the second it left you hanging, you knew what the outcome would be in the next book.
There were relationships that weren’t fully explained such as, Ryan and who he really was/what he did. June and her back history with Lou-Lou’s father (also Lou-Lou’s father’s details) that was partially brought up, interrupted and never brought up again. Luna and Featherstone… it was clear there was other series within this world so in this case if these other stories collide, keep their involvement limited so the reader isn’t lacking details. These characters had a significant role in this particular series which makes for a frustrating reading experience when details of their past or current life are left out.
The hatred in the beginning between Lou-Lou and the guys was VERY unrealistic. First off Jagger’s reasoning doesn’t even make any sense since he was behind all of it so what did he have to be mad about?? The other 3 were her childhood friends and had a connection not many people have, yes the original anger at being left behind without any word… I can understand that initial hatred but then they found out shortly after she left what had happened even if she still had no clue herself so for them to hate her so much and believe someone else’s words without hearing them from her is an unrealistic conflict.
There were some minor inconsistencies such as movements being repeated or phrases being said too much. Grammar wasn’t the greatest. Word redundancy was also a thing in this series that bugged me. If the sentence is better off without the repeated word, take it out or replace it with a similar word. Small pet peeves that if too consistent ruin a book for me…
All in all, the story idea was good and it kept me hopeful for a good ending but I am sad to say that most of the enjoyment out of this series was the steam 🙄 There was some good humor but mostly the series good have used more suspense and twists.
I really enjoyed this and the series as a whole, but unfortunately, this third and final book fell a little flat for me. I still really liked it, but it left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied and wanting more.
I really liked the action and suspense in this. There was more than the last first two books, and there were a few scenes that had me on the edge of my seat. My only complaint is I felt the scenes were a little short or too easily resolved.
I was also left with a lot of questions about Robbie, Vince, and Vince’s dad. I understood the gist of what was going on and how they were connected, but I needed more details. I needed to know why? And how? For example, why did it take this long to bring Robbie down? I guess I didn’t understand how he had so much “power” or “pull.” Or how exactly he was involved with the Vultures.🤔 I think the storyline could have been better developed.
Another thing was the pacing. It felt a little choppy and rushed in places. And things felt easily resolved at the end. I wish there had been more of a climax I guess. Or maybe things didn’t go how I was wanting or hoping? Idk.
Also, Lou-Lou kind of annoyed me in this ngl. I still really liked her, and I think her stepping up and becoming “lash boss” after what happened to Jagger made sense and felt authentic, but sometimes her badass-ness and toughness were a little OTT. I was left wanting more vulnerability and depth from her. And I was really hoping for a kidnap and rescue scene in this series, since those are some of my favorite action/suspense tropes, so I was bummed there wasn’t one.
I don’t think this had as much relationship development as the last book. There was a lot of one-on-one scenes with the FMC and MMCs, but they were mostly sex scenes, and I was left wanting more interactions as a group or just between the MMCs. Or non-sex scenes between the FMC and MMCs like the last two books.
Gahhh the scene between Leo and Lou-Lou where Leo discusses what happened to him broke my heart😢. No one should experience that. I knew something happened, but I wasn’t expecting that.
Overall, I loved this series! It was fun and had plenty of action/suspense, steam, character development, and likable, interesting MCs. I enjoyed it!😊

KC Kean has never failed to knock my socks off and this conclusion to the series did that and more! I was speechless when I finished, and the book hangover was real. One of my favorite things was watching Lou Lou finally come into her own. After the brutal cliffhanger in the last book, I was worried Lou was going to fall apart, why? I’m not sure, I had nothing to worry about. Lou is a fighter through and through. She is sassy as all get out and I am so here for it! She has always been a strong fmc but with her world quickly changing around her she was forced to make some complicated choices. They made her stronger, they made her open her eyes to everything happening around her, and it made her step up, take notice, and take charge.
Everything with Robbie finally comes to a head, and I love how everything played out. Even though there were some heartbreaking moments, these guys stepped up and rewrote their own ending. Each character gets stronger, they have to fight harder to achieve their goals, and there are plenty of twists along the way. The spice and steam are fantastic, it’s written beautifully and doesn’t overtake the story – rather it fits in perfectly. It’s nice and hot (have extra panties on hand 😉!) The emotions that this book evokes are REAL; all the feels with this one.
I love how this series is interconnected with others. It was amazing to see some of my favorite past characters show up. While they can be read as separate series, there’s a deeper understanding when reading all the books together. The world and the characters KC’s writes are amazing, they suck you in and spit you out when THEY are done. I love how everything came together, the ending was *chef’s kiss* amazing. It’s always hard to say goodbye to favorite characters, but KC did them justice, and they deserved to have some peace when all is said and done. I can’t speak highly enough about this series! If you like RH, bad**s fmc’s, heartbreak, and gang romance, this book has it all. Don’t wait start this now!
Series review of the 3 books. Luella/Lou-Lou & Jameson, Jagger, Leo, and Ezra
The storyline and plot were ok. Regardless, the story kept me captivated. The female character was ok. However, I skimmed through the three books; some chapters were unnecessary. Throughout the three books, secrets are unraveled, and the process is relatively slow. The author penned Luella with a strong personality, too violent for my taste. However, I liked that she could fight her battles and had taken defense classes. The male characters have different personalities, and they are all set apart. I am not a fan of RH, and four guys are a lot to handle, but whatever. I did not mind the male-male scene; after all, one lady taking four men is a lot. Unfortunately for me, RH, with multiple males involved, loses some interest in romanticism or sensual scenes. Although Lou-Lou is a strong domineering female, she is easy to rage on, an adrenaline junkie, and the way to calm her down is by, you name it, sex. It is the theme of the entire three books. The author often writes about Luella's rage and sex is what calms her down. I still did not understand the role of Victor Monroe and what he wanted from Luella. The author did not explain. I did not fully understand Vince. The guys and Luella repeatedly overthrow him, but he comes back for more and with no backup plan. Being the villain, he is a loser. However, the author pens as his background is powerful, scary, and influential. I did not read any of it. The villain was so weak. Vince seemed more of a helpless villain, and his determination to have Luella is based on a promise guaranteed to him. I do not understand Robbie how a nobody rises to a powerful position and tries to run for a political position. The writer did not explain. A person that grows overnight to become so powerful should be surrounded by more powerful men. I thought all the villains in the book were weak and helpless.
I've honestly never read a book of hers I didn't like. Her endings have never made me yell in a bad way. I've never wished for something different because the endings (to me) are always satisfying. I couldn't imagine the stories going any other way. She is good at what she does and she will continue to be a 1 click author for me.
Not gonna lie, knowing this was the last book I was wondering how the story was going to get resolved. I felt like going into it there was so much left in the air. Let me tell you, I was worried for nothing. I know better than to question the process and the author.
Lou Lou definitely stepped into her role of queen like the B.A. that she is. She grew so much in this series. Going from the timid broken hearted, to the queen who could not be broken. The scene with one of the boys had me for a second... I loved the fact their plans didn't always go accordingly and they ran into roadblocks. It made it more realistic than if everything had gone perfectly.
Leo's backstory ruined me. The twins similarities yet differences compliment each other so well. Ezra nerdy yet dangerous.
The cross over!! Seeing Luna and Ryan made my day. I think I gasped.
My reviews are a jumbled mess cause this series made me a jumbled mess. She destroyed me, put me together, kissed the booboo better, then destroyed me all over again. Then wrapped it back up with a bow on top. These are the only Rollercoasters that I'm a fan of and this was a wild ride. Sad it's over but not disappointed.
This author kills me. I loved her Bloodstone series, but hated her Allstar series (Toxic Creek, etc.), so I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this one or not, but finally talked myself into it and WHY.
Let's just start off with the fact that this book was my favorite of the series and that really isn't saying a lot. The whole series should've felt more like this book. Instead we get a lot of the author telling us that the FMC, Lou-Lou, was a badass, but then having Lou-Lou act like anything but a badass, at least until this book. So she was telling us one thing, but having her character act and respond completely differently and it instantly started grating on my nerves.
And hey, this should've been an easy sell to me because it was a friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. YES, give me all of that. But too many other things irritated me, like how there was no reason that they all should've ever been "enemies".. That was the worst plot point.
AND SPEAKING OF PLOT POINTS - This series was full of stupid ones. I'm sorry, but so much of the plot took FOREVER to move forward simply because the main guys weren't telling the FMC what was going on and this went on for way too long in the series. Wayyyyy too freakin' long. Like I said this book was the best of the 3 and I think that was simply because things in the actual plot were moving forward.
And finally, Jagger was a horrible character. Yea, I said it. I didn't find him likeable at all and dreaded reading his bullshit.
SPOILERS FINALLY this one got good and the annoying stuff that made the first two so horrible was done with. Lou-lou kicked ass in this one and we finally got to see her use her skills.
But there are still so many unanswered questions even after the story is finished. How did lou-lou get so skilled? Her one time mentioning that she self trained herself at a boxing gym to fight off gangsters does not account for her skill with guns of all types. The story constantly hints at her having dealt with stuff like this before (including killing/blood/death) but never explains anything. Why did vincent and vince have so much power? Why was vince promised lou-lou and what would they have gained from the marriage? What happened to Julie or Jodie or whatever the redhead's name is? What is the bloodlines thing it mentions but never explains? What is featherstone and why are they so powerful? Why does lou-lou have to work for them now? We spent all this time working up to getting to know these big secrets and then it DOESN'T EXPLAIN THEM. I get the feeling you have to read other series for other characters to figure it out, which is such a poor move against the reader. She makes the guys open up about their 3 years apart while never telling any of them her own secrets, it's aggravating. That ending was just as bad as the guys in book 1: only giving us the bare minimum and deciding we don't need the full answer.
After meeting Lou-Lou in the Allstars series, I was curious to read her story. I definitely enjoyed this series more than I enjoyed the Allstars one, but not as much as Featherstone.
Lou-Lou is a strong FMC and she constantly schools her emotions to not show any weakness, but at times I felt like she was a little unrealistic, or perhaps a bit unrelatable, with how she schooled her emotions constantly. By the end of the series, Lou-Lou really is a bad bitch and that was great.
I wasn't a fan of the fact that we had Ryan blatantly there as part of the story but didn't utilize him or his connections for most of the series. It just didn't quite add up. Lola was also a total MacGuffin which was annoying because we could have done a lot more with her in this series.
I've said this before and I'll say it again from my soapbox; I am NOT a fan of explicit RH stories taking place with high schoolers. I'm well aware that high schoolers are sexually active, but books like these are written for adults to consume, so it's weird to have the main characters be in high school and to read about high school teens engaging in group sex (which is usually what happens in an RH). In almost all cases, I find that the story would achieve the same goals if it was just in a college/university setting. After reading The Allstars series I was SO FREAKING HAPPY to find that this was university based!
I'm DEVASTATED it's over!!! A trilogy wasn't enough. Okay so it totally was but I just freaking loved these characters. Almost as much as I loved my KC Featherstone characters. The storyline was fantastic and set at the perfect pace. The spice was hot as hell although we all know I'm a slut so I would have THRIVED for more group scenes. But I understand we were dealing with a lot. I also saw that we might get an extended EPI next year??? IM hoping orgies everywhere LMFAO
Okay so like the first two books. We know that Lou is trying to take down Robbie (man I hate that punk-ass bitch). We add in a few more villains linked to Robbie that we already met but the connection is made. We also see a bit more of what's up with Naomi and she is supposed to get a little more info in that extended EPI as well if I read the insert right lol.
Chapter 6.....How DARE you KC. The audacity you have to go and do that. I cried literal tears and my toddler was like mommy you kay?? NO tiny human I'm not I just was destroyed by a not nice I've never met through a book she wrote.
Also DAVID!!! I'm unsure of my feelings. IM leaving it at that and maybe once I process ill be back LMFAO.
Ryan and Eden LOVE LOVE LOVE...I've not read Eden's books (shame) I know....so I think I might try to squeeze them on my roster in May...
Another absolutely amazing read by KC Kean! Watch Me Reign is book 3 of 3 in the Emerson U Series and it definitely had plenty of dark twists and turns with nonstop action. After the cliffhanger from hell in book 2, we pick up where we left off, yep no reprieve from the hellish cliffhanger. KC, you evil dark queen!!!
After all the anxiety the first part of the book left, we really pick it up. Lou-Lou naturally steps into her role within the Arrows, boss lady. The actions she takes and the subsequent respect from not only Jagger, Jameson, Leo and Ezra but the entire gang too. Her boss bitch attitude we loved since we met her shines bright.
Not only do we have action and immense respect building for Lou-Lou, we have the connection between the 5 of them growing as well. I’m sure you can imagine, KC did NOT disappoint their connection was 🔥 🥵 💥.
Another thing I absolutely loved was the fact that KC always finds a way to connect her worlds together. We find out her connection to Ryan is more than just cousins, we have Bloodline association. Yep, you guessed it, Featherstone reappears and it’s fabulous!
Now that the series is fully released, I HIGHLY recommend reading this who thing. It can be read separate from past series, but cameos are mentioned!!
I don't think I can emphasize enough how much I love Lou-Lou! I thought she was strong in book one, but now she is stronger and completely fierce. Lou-Lou is independent and doesn't need the guys, but loves having their support and strength to back her up. This is what makes her such a great FMC.
I loved the guys' character development throughout this book. They are all alphas and fiercely protective, but in this book they realized how strong Lou-Lou is and that she can handle herself. They wanted to try and shield her from everything, but she didn't need them to do that. As Leo said, "She wasn't made for this life, she was forged in it." I enjoyed watching the guys take a step back so that Lou-Lou could lead them!
As with the first two books, I couldn't put this down and my emotions were all over the place. I was in tears at the beginning of the book and my anxiety was going crazy at the end trying to predict what was going to happen! I hated seeing Lou-Lou's story come to an end. I really wanted more of her and the guys so I am excited that they will get an extended epilogue next year. Kean does such a great job effortlessly connecting characters from other books that I would love a series or at least a book with all of them together.
Oh and how she reigns...Another amazing end of a series by this incredible author. I love KC Kean's writing and the way her female characters are structured. Luella “Lou Lou” Carter was exquisite. I kinda expected, after that heartbreaking cliffhanger that ended book 2, that Lou Lou will be falling apart, but not our girl. Her strength, determination, love, and devotion to her family and her men made her ruthless, a real Boss Lady.
I died a little inside at the beginning, grief, anger, desperation, and lust for revenge were so beautifully portrayed, so raw and agonizing.... just brilliant.
Even though, in the beginning, she is kept mostly in the dark, things are now different...Lou Lou becomes a respected leader, and her men are just fascinated and absorbed by her fierceness and beauty.
I loved how the story evolved, and how the Robbie problem was dealt with. The spicy and steamy scenes were perfect, tastefully done, and in complete balance with the storyline.
If you want to read an RH series, with: * an enticing and addictive plot, * complex and fascinating characters, * emotional and heartbreaking twists, * off the charts chemistry and steam, then this one is it.
I devoured this last book in hours and couldn’t get enough. Lou Lou “Boss Lady” Queeeeeeennnnn was absolutely divine to read. Finally the family gets to stand up and fight back and deliver some much over die vengeance
There was some amazing tie ins to other series that had me literally GASPING OUT LOUD and absolutely losing my ever loving mind 🤯🤯 In true KC Kean fashion, I never saw them coming … at all… I wasn’t readyyyyy 😂😂
Gods, so much happens in this book. The relationship dynamic is just so freaking fab, the power house Lou Lou becomes is amazing, the strength and growth of all the guys - individually AND as a family - is beautiful.
Can we talk about the MMF scenes though?! Excuussseee meeeee a minuteeee 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 the smut in this.. ugh… KC always delivers…. But Gah! 🥵🥵😈😈☠️☠️
I need a minute to collect my ovaries as they explode ….
Action packed, smut heaven, twists and turns and a well freaking deserved hea. I tell you that 80-90% mark was soooooo dang satisfying. I giggled with damn glee!
