Harper Harlow has it all, including a new business, a husband she adores, and a best friend she’s determined not to murder even though he’s determined to be the groomzilla to end all groomzillas. Life is good … until it’s not.
Everything is thrown into doubt when her former boyfriend, a grifter on trial for murder, escapes from the county courthouse and starts terrorizing Whisper Cove.

Final book in an entertaining Paranormal cozy mystery series
This is the final book in an extraordinarily entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. He spectacular cast of characters and a fun and entertaining storyline. Harper Harlow Monroe is a young woman who can see and speak to ghosts in a multitude of different ways. She owns a cemetery as well as a ghost hunting company along with her best friend Xander who she’s been best friends with since kindergarten. Her husband Jared is a local police detective and Sanders uncle is his partner. Harper and her husband got married a short time back and now it is time for Xander and his fiancé Sean to get married. One other small thing popping up in their current situation is the trial of Harper‘s former boyfriend who faked his death then showed back up years later tried to kill her and got arrested. Read on and follow the adventure and all the twists and turns in this crazy adventure in the final Harper Harlow standalone book. Then once you are finished a new series combining Harper Harlow a Ivy Morgan a Maddie Graves in Rowen Gray start a combined series that they talk about in the last book of all their series that has all four of them working together on occasion to go after the mystical mysteries they are so good at. Check them out. They are up to book 3 so far and that combine series

Worth waiting for!
Ex boyfriend trouble, out of control wedding plans, freaky dolls...did I mention an orange bridesmaid dress?
How do all these tie together?
If you've been reading this series, you'll enjoy finding out. If not, do yourself a favor and get the first book, and dive in.
You'll be glad you did!
There are so many feels in this story... I was even feeling a little sorry for the bad guy by the end. Just a little though.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good story with a little paranormal element.

There are so many feels in this story... I was even feeling a little sorry for the bad guy by the end. Just a little though.

Another A+ for Harper Hart!
Harper’s ex-boyfriend, Quinn who died, then came back to life, tried to kill Harper, went to prison, escaped from his trial by killing a guard, and tormented Harper and her dreams is causing unwanted stress to everyone. And Zander’s wedding is in less than 2 weeks! How can an escaped murdering convict be on the lam so close to the fabulous Zander’s wedding?! How dare Quinn choose such a time to be wandering the streets causing everyone to always have to look over their shoulders and sleep with one eye open!
There is a point at the end that had me tearing up - very touching heartfelt speeches. Now that there are no more books in this series, Harper Hart did write five more books involving the following characters from four of her other series: Ivy Morgan, Harper Harlow, Rowan Gray and Maddie Graves. The series is A Return to Magic Cozy Mystery. Book one is “Older, Wiser, Witchier” which I am reading in a moment. 😁 No, scratch that. I’m going to read the last book… The grand finale of the Ivy Morgan series. It’s book 21, “Wicked Forever”. Then I’ll read “Older, Wiser, Witchier”.

Finale
Harper, Jared and Zander are giving evidence at the trial of her ex-boyfriend Quinn Jackson. When the lunch recess is announced Jared is the only one not to have been into the courtroom but when an alarm sounds his testimony is moot because the defendant has shot a deputy and escaped.
But where did he go and what is he after? Some digging into his visitors leaves them all feeling a bit hinky as he appears to have been taking advantage of a well known local lady with a reputation for bizarre behaviour. She seems convinced they are going to marry. Zander and Shawn are doubling down on the security and sticking close to Harper while Jared is working his tail off..
As usual it's a plan with a ghostly shot deputy that finally ends the story but with a stand off and plenty of threats will everyone come out the other side?

Zander finally gets Married.
I love this series and this author. You should read these in order written otherwise you will miss all the inside jokes. In these books there is usually a death and Harper uses that connection to help her detective husband and partner to solve the crime. This book is about an ex boyfriend of Harper’s who faked his own death and comes back to town for several reasons.

Fantastic Job
This entire series has been amazing to read. Each book brought deeper insight into the realm of each character’s personality. The character and storyline development is outstanding. You feel everything, just like you are right in the middle of it all. Fantastic series.
I do hope that somewhere along the way Ms. Hart will continue this series introducing a second generation of characters. It would be quite interesting to follow Harper & Jarad’s and Zander and Shawn’s children’s stories. Little ghost busters in the near future?

Harper Harlow Mystery series
I have enjoyed this series and a little sad it had to end but Harper and Zander through all their trails end up finding their partners and begin their life as it was meant to be.
It's a nice series when one to wants read something that is light but has seriousness with humor mixed in.
It's nice Lily Harper Hart begins another series that is years down the road that brings Harper back with other friends. Look forward to starting this next series. Hopefully Zander, Shawn, and Jared will make an appearance occasionally.

A delightfully phenomenal ending to the series!
So very sad to see this series ending. It was most definitely one of my top 5. I'm just hoping the great characters from this series will be in the new one in September. Most especially Zander. I know Jared will be there and I hope Shawn and Mel will be included. This had a fantastic story line! I'm glad we had closure with Quinn! All in all a totally entertaining, delightful, phenomenal series!!!!!!!

Good read
Book 21 finds everyone gearing up for Zander's and Shane's wedding and along comes the trial for Quinn. And of course Harper, Jared, and Zander have to testify against him. Big surprise...he escapes and vengeance is on. The team has to find him before the wedding and a ghost appears to help. A myriad of surprises pop up during the chaos that finally lead to the capture. Highly entertaining.

I’ve got to say now that was a HEA.
and it might have been an ending but also a new beginning which I am so excited for.
The Quinn story was a doozy, so many awesome twists.
And the wedding at the end was perfect, the whole story was darn perfect, totally enjoyable and as always memorable.

After all, Quinn is known for his diabolical twisting of the truth. What if the jury doesn’t believe her? Then, Quinn uses his skill at manipulation in a way no one foresaw.

Good but...
Good book, fun story great character interaction but also a bit sad because you know this is the last in the series. Yes there is a new combined crossover series coming but sometimes I feel some characters are a little neglected in crossovers. Though I am looking forward to seeing how it comes together.

Oh man, I'm not ready for it to be over.
I love this series so much. Zander drives me crazy and Jared has over protective issues. Thank goodness for Shaun. The scene where Harper wakes up and all 3 men are in bed with her is hilarious but not over done. That's the only spoiler. If you aren't reading this series, it's time to start book 1 now!

The bad boys back
Time for Quinn's trial. Just weeks before Zander's wedding. Everyone has to testify, as the lunch break starts Quinn grabs the guard's gun kills him and escapes. Everyone is on guard in case he comes after them. And so the tale begins. Good read, wouldn't mind more about this group.

Ghostly Shadows (A Harper Harlow Mystery book 21
This is another winner. Once you start one of Harper's books you cannot put it down. I highly recommend all her books and different series. They are all great. She writes great paranormal mysteries. I love her character's especially this group. I have read over 50 of her books and loved everyone of them. Diana Romano

So we have a murderous ex-boyfriend, who killed a court deputy and is on the loose. How will this affect Zander's upcoming wedding? Who is the crazy old lady and want is her stake in all this? Quite a few twists and turns in this one. Some tear worthy words/sentiment from Harper and Zander. Enjoyable read.

A Very Fun Series
I so enjoyed reading this series. I read each book in succession. I loved the banter and the relationships as they evolved. I thought that the mystery part was very imaginative, and the use of the ghosts to help solve it was fun. The stories were exactly what I was looking for - a light-hearted, easy, flowing read with a little humor and whimsy! Perfect!!!

Family ties
Nothing like a crazed psycho or two to bring people together. I love how much this foursome has bonded through the course of the series. There were lots of special moments, hilarious moments, and tension, but it all worked out for the grand finale.

Great story!
This is a really good book by a very talented writer. The storyline kept me on my toes. I can't wait for the next book about Harper's adventures by my number one favorite author. Ms. Hart is a very good and original storyteller! You won't be disappointed at all.

Family
I love that Lily shows appreciation for chosen families. I'm 60 and for a good portion of my life it was my chosen family that got me through my troubling times. I look forward to whatever is next.

Sticks the Landing
This feels like a series ending book and that's not a bad thing. Plotlines are all wrapped up nicely and everyone got their happy ending. If you are at book 21 in a series, you already know whether you like it or not. Nicely done.

Great book!
I really enjoy this series, however I think this book waa by far my favorite! I loved the growth of the characters and the progression of the story. It was also packed with the usual snark, action, and romance. I highly recommend this series!

Wonderful finale
I have to admit Harper's series is one of my favorites. I loved this final story. I plan on going back and doing a re-read from start to finish. I'm looking forward to the new series.
