Redemption

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FAKE!
I pre-ordered this, going on the assumption that it was a new release from all of our beloved author, Kristin Hannah, but check the spelling! No, this is NOT THE SAME AUTHOR. Not only does this author impersonate the one we love, but she’s a terrible writer. Do not purchase this fake!

This author is using the name “Kristen Hannah” to trick people into buying her terrible book. Shameful!! This book is NOT by “Kristin Hannah” who is an amazing writer. Kristen Hannah isn’t even close to being her real name either so she clearly did this intentionally. I hope everyone who was duped into buying this sends it back and requests a refund. This author should be sued!

Duped
I thought this was the newest Kristin Hannah book ( watch the spelling of the name). The cover and name looked similar to her books. Twenty pages in and I had to look at the book cover to see if this was really a Kristin Hannah book. Took me until page 240 (the whole time in disbelief that Kristin Hannah would have written this) to realize the names are spelled differently and this author spells her name with an E (Kristen). I kept giving it a chance because I really enjoy most of Kristin Hannah’s ( Kristin with an “i”) books. It’s not her. So don’t get duped into buying this! It’s awful. I’m annoyed I bought it.

Horrible book
I can't believe this book came from this author. I have read and loved all her books except this one. Editing was horrible and so many things that didn't add up. So disappointing to wait for her book and have be so bad. Don't waste your money wish I could get a refund.

Did not like this one
Very disappointed in this book. Not up to th authors usual good writing. It almost seemed to be written to a teenager audience. Did not like the fantasy like story line. Aside from the story there were many misspelled words and grammar mistakes. Was not edited properly.
Would not recommend this one.

I did read this entire book. As I have loved all of Kristin Hannah’s books, when I saw she was publishing a new one, I pre-ordered the book. The preview mentioned Oregon State and as many of Kristin Hannah’s novels take place in the Pacific Northwest, I was sure this was her latest book. I was so excited when it finally arrived in my kindle and couldn’t wait to begin reading this book. As I began reading, I couldn’t understand the typos and incorrect words. When halfway through, I looked the book up online and realized it was not Kristin Hannah, but Kristen Hannah with just one letter change in her first name. What a terrible disservice to the original and real Kristin Hannah! What a scam by both the author and the publisher. Shame on both of you!
I decided to finish the book as the plot was somewhat engaging. I tried to skim over the many incorrect words, typos and total inconsistencies, but it was unnerving. I think this author could be successful, but she needs to first change her name (even if that is her real name, she should use a pen name) and then get a great editor!

As soon as I started reading this book I kept thinking how this is in no way written by my favorite author, KristIn Hannah. Then I noticed the author of this book is KristEn Hannah. I did some digging and found this faux Kristin Hannah tried to pass this garbage off as the best selling author. It’s not even available on Amazon anymore, so that tells you it’s not legit. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!

What a disappointment, I was really looking forward to this latest book by Kristin Hannah, but then to relies it is not my favorite author after all is totally unfair, this person should not be allowed to write under this name. The writing style is terrible and is very hard to read, it makes me think that this Kristen Hannah is a teenager, there are words added that don’t need to be in there, and I don’t think it has even been proofread. The beginning is so slow that I actually skimmed through it and I never do that. The story is inconsistent and I couldn’t even finish it. The main character Hadley has no substance and being the Narrator sounds like a 14 yr old girl. At one stage Hadley breaks her wrist in a car accident then goes sailing and the broken wrist is never mentioned again. I could go on and on about things that are wrong with this story, I literally can’t read anymore, after persisting I’m ending it at chapter 30 cause I can’t deal with anymore. What a rip off.

I only gave this a 2 because the storyline did hold my attention. I am really annoyed with Amazon for making me think this was a new book by my favorite author (KristIn Hannah) and I think it's wrong for this KristEn Hannah to use a name close to her. I realized early on this wasn't a Kristin Hannah type of book. I kept reading it anyways since I spent money on it. Really bad grammar, lots of spelling errors, poor writing style, but like I said the storyline kept my attention enough to finish. I would not read another one of her books though.

This is the most horribly written book I've ever read. Full of mistakes. I thought it was the best-selling author, the way Amazon promoted it. Then I thought, oh, Kristin must be writing the way an extremely uneducated 19-year-old may write, and it'll get better soon. When it didn't, I finally looked up the book to read some reviews and saw my mistake. Both "Kristen" and Amazon should be ashamed for putting this out, but I'm sure they are laughing all the way to the bank with my and probably thousands of others' hard-earned money.

I feel like I’ve been had. I love Kristin Hannah books and I was excited to read what I thought was her latest. However, when I started reading this book the writing was that of an amateur. Upon investigation I learned this is not the Kristin Hannah I thought but Kristen who spelled her name differently. This book has met the trash bin, and regretfully I will never recover the time wasted on it.

Don’t buy this book!
Feel cheated by Kindle, they advertise this book as a pre order and if you are not careful (which I was not) you do not pick up in the the difference of the spelling of the authors first name. It was soooooo bad I could not finish reading, but the author has done well by Kendle advertising the book for her and pre selling it. Both make money by hoodwinking the reader!

April 6, 2022DO NOT Buy this book. It was not written by Kristin Hannah the author of The Four Winds, but Kirsten Hannah a horrid writer. I started it and kept wondering why the writing was so terrible. I am unable to get my money back from Amazon for this garbage. Terrible writing, terrible story, terrible that Amazon got $10 from me and won’t refund my money.

The author is very inexperienced and should be ashamed to have brought this book to press. I would never read another book by this phony. The publisher should be ashamed for publishing this book and trying to deceive the audience of the wonderful , intelligent Kristin Hannah. Hopefully there will be repercussions to this scam writer.

Don't bother. Definitely not the real and talented Kristin Hannah
What a disgrace to use the name of another honest and successful author with only one letter difference in the names. And the book itself contained wrong words, missing words throughout. So many errors it was unbelievable. Do not support this imposter.

This book is a fake. I love Kristin Hannah and believed it was the same. Different author. The story could be good, but the sheer amount of grammatical errors is disorienting! It’s like a rough draft that nobody ever looked over again, let alone an editor. I stopped highlighting misused words at 25 and that was the first few chapters. Don’t bother.

I have loved reading this authors books but this one was terrible ridiculous story and so many typos. I'm really wondering if she truly wrote this! So unlike her usual writing. Had to force myself to finish it hoping for a surprising good twist or something. This story was all over the place and just bad.

so disappointed
I was sure this was another wonderful book by Kristin Hannah and couldn’t figure out why it was so shallow and so badly written. Well the author simply changed a letter in the name and managed to fool me into getting her book. It feels like reading a teenager’s diary- crushes on blue eyes and six packs…

Very disappointed in this book. I have loved all the other Kristen Hannah books but this book was not good at all. Very disappointed. I finished it thinking maybe a hood ending but that did not happen. Just read other reviews and read this is not the Kristen Hannah we all love. Feel better now because of how bad this book was

Fake! This is not a Kristin Hannah book. It’s pure garbage! I can’t believe I preordered this thinking it was my favorite author. I was so excited she had a new book, but soon after I started reading it, I realized this isn’t her. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!

I feel cheated!!! This book would have 0 stars if it was an option. I was so excited thinking KRISTIN HANNAH had a new book. A third grader could have written better. I gave up after 20% of the book. It is awful, do not waste your time or money

This book is so poorly written that I was prompted to recheck that it was by Kristin Hannah, author of The Great Alone. It is not. Im not sure who this person is and frankly, I'm more surprised that this junk was actually published. Just terrible. Buyer beware.

I ordered this by mistake thinking it was by Kristin Hannah and realized immediately this was not her work! The editor should be embarrassed as there are misspelled words and grammatical errors on almost every page. Plus, it really doesn't make much sense. Don't waste your money or time!

I wondered why this book was not up to the standards of other Kristin Hannah novels. Different author. So many misspelled and grammatical errors, I wonder if it was even proofread. and the story was so unbelievable. I did not enjoy this book at all!

Kristin Hannah reall?
I have never been more disappointed in a book. I have read all of this author’s books and can’t believe she really wrote this. It is full of contradictions and is just unbelievable. Huge disappointment.
