Mind Games🌀
Mind Games is the twenty-third book in the COBRA Securities series. I’ve been dying to read this book since it came out and I have a feeling a new one is going to be published soon, so I definitely didn’t want to get left behind so I jumped in❣️
Harper is a psychiatrist but after some of her patients that were doing well and on the right path suddenly commit suicide, she starts to second guess her life and choices and opts to go to a new town to teach students. Unfortunately, whatever it is she thought she left behind has followed her to her new town😢
Ryan bumps into Harper by accident when he visits a friend. Now a few weeks later, he hasn’t been able to forget about her - when they bump into each other again, call it fate or kismet, Ryan won’t let a second chance go by without getting to know the lovely woman. When he discovers she might have a potential stalker, his protectiveness kicks in and he’s ALL IN🤩
Fantastic story that had me guessing who dunnit all the way through. I’m excited to read Owen and Melanie’s story next❤️

I have enjoyed a number of this authors earlier books in this series but...
I liked the premise of this book but the heroine was just too clueless. She was supposed to be a smart, independent woman but she acted like she an absolute idiot. Really too stupid to live. The hero was also lacking. An example- he goes to search the outside of the house with the flashlight on his phone and a drawn gun. Really?! The flashlight app? I gave up after that. I realize this review is kinda harsh but seriously , there were examples like this nearly every other page. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Better and Better
Velvet Vaughn's Cobra Securities series just gets better and better. Each story stands alone but you never lose track of the previous characters which I personally love. The stories are believable...people get hurt and like in real life, it takes time to heal. This story was full of twists & turns and the resolution was well set up and eminently believable. I would recommend this book highly and if you are new to the series, I would suggest that you make your way back to the start as soon as you can. Oh, and don't forget the novellas!

A natural
Ms. Vaughn has done it again. This book was fabulous. I had no clue about the killer. I kept thinking I knew then there would be a twist that turned me all around. I have read e very book in the series so far and can't wait for Owen's book! Its a great way to escape real life for a little while. A beautiful way to spend my day off.

Wow! Another book in my favorite series from Velvet Vaughn There is so much depth and understanding in the characters. Once again, I got nothing else done today, because I could not put this book down.
