They vowed to own me—body, heart, and soul. I never thought I’d let them.
The only thing more terrifying than being taken captive by four vampires is falling for each of them. Despite their rocky start, Calla can’t imagine her life without the immortals she’s bound to.
And when they’re attacked by vampire hunters, they have no choice but to run. While Calla struggles with another life-altering ambush, Kade faces his own in the form of his dead sister. They say the bonds of family are the strongest, but this reunion isn’t a happy one.
As tensions rise between the vampires and hunters, extreme measures are taken by the oldest vampires in history to ensure the survival of their race. There isn’t a moment to breathe before Calla is once again forced to acknowledge the deal her ancestors made for her life.
Until she discovers the consequences of the blood oath may not be hers to face…

Talk about non-stop action! This story had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish - desperate to know what would happen next. Although some of the events seemed a bit too easy, I can’t help but wonder what will come of those events in the next story. This story still has some top notch steam, but the romance is taking over - although Atlas has solidified himself as the alpha of this bunch. I truly hope we get more than just that one scene with all of them together. I have so many questions about the bomb that was dropped at the end and how it will affect Calla and these drool worthy men moving forward.
Okay these cliffhangers may be the death of me when it comes to this series. Every single book so far has left me with a cliffhanger that leaves my mouth agape - and this one may be the most traumatic of all. Considering this is a huge component to the series, my heart - and brain - is all over the place. This series completely sucks you in - whether it’s the hella spicy scenes - or the ongoing mysterious plot - it keeps a reader on edge and engaged. There are so many secrets too, like I feel I haven’t even hit the tips of the iceberg and I’m just stressed. I’m not sure where this book is going, but it’s a worthy journey🖤
This novel is told on the POV of Calla (the heroine) and Kade (1 of 4 Vampires). I loved getting to know more to Kade, he always made me giggle in the first few books. However, his hardship comes to life in this book and now I just want to hug him. As for Calla, this girl has fallen ass over feet for these men - even if she doesn’t realize it yet. But like - come on - it’s a romance, if she didn’t fall for them I’d cause a riot. Or send a formal letter to trade places because 4 vampires? Yes please😌
Overall, I’m excited for book four and where this is going to go. I feel like their story is about to get a lot more painful, before we ✨hopefully✨ hit a point of pure happiness!
I’d give this novel 4.5 stars✨ Steam rating: 3🔥🔥🔥🔥
Holy cow this book shook me! You get background on Kade and find out why his sister stabbed him on for her to get killed! Then you also learn more about Atlas, I love the tension and bickering between Calla and Atlas. Gabriel is back thank goodness. Scott now knows about Calla and the vampires and threatens her family. Which ends with her mom in the hospital and Calla finding out her mom had a baby before her, a girl that died. Which means she shouldn’t have had to fulfill the blood oath. The question is, is her sister really dead? Why didn’t her parents say anything? So many questions.

Calla was on the right track to catching these hands for this book, ngl 😂 even with all that was happening, she was thinking about getting back to ✨school✨ proud of Kade for walking away on that one lmao.
Yes, I’m on book three. And I’ve rated each book lower each time. I started the series hooked by the plot and stayed for the spicy scenes, but two thirds through the second book I was bored with the spicy scenes and skipped them for the plot. This book seemed 80% spice and 20% plot. So do with that knowledge what you will. I’m heading onto reading the fourth because I want to know what happens but I’m definitely disappointed by the lack of plot and creative writing.
I've been going back and forth about finishing this series, mainly because of pacing issues in my opinion. I feel like it's also just too predictable for me at this point: spend first half of book resolving cliffhanger from previous book, the next quarter seemingly smooth, end with an out of left field plot shift / cliffhanger. As much as I do enjoy the characters, I'll be DNFing this series.
I was loving this series before this installment. The turn that the storyline took was really disappointing. Some may love it, it just wasn't for me. I added this to my DNF list.
Warning: This is not a standard review, it is not meant to tell others how I felt about the book, it is my personal review/ notes on the book as I read/ random rants (for when I look back in the future to see how I felt about the book) and probably NOT a great way to tell if you want to read the book. As I can not make reviews private this is my warning: It’s all slightly random, choppy and most likely confusing // read at your own discretion. Will also contain lotsss of spoilers. Enjoy my brain 😄

With each book, I fall more and more in love with this series. This is a PNR/RH story about a bond that connects a human woman to four male vampires.
The first book is told entirely from the FMC’s point of view, while the others feature dual POVs—hers and one of the MMCs. In this book, it’s Kade’s turn, and we get to learn more about him.
It’s a dark story, but that’s to be expected when vampires are involved. There are also some heartbreaking moments, though the humor sprinkled throughout helps balance the tone.
And yes, it’s very steamy—the heat level definitely rises with each book, which again, fits perfectly with the vampire theme.
There’s no shortage of drama or action. These characters never get a break! There’s always something happening—twists, surprises, and constant danger that keeps them (and us) on edge.
And that cliffhanger? WOW! I was left open-mouthed thinking, "What just happened?" and "What now?".
This book was amazing! I loved the introduction to Kade’a point of view! His cocky banter with the other 4 is great and one of the reasons why I love when a why choose story has multiple POVs.
Calls and the vamps are on the run after being attacked by a group of Hunters. They had to leave everything behind and live in hiding while trying to figure out their next move. When a threat was made against Calla’s parents for what side of the war she has chosen, the biggest discovery of her life comes to light. This book ends on a life altering cliffhanger for Calla!
- “No,” he echoes with a soft chuckle, his lips tracing the shell of my ear. “So if I were to bury my fingers between your thighs right now, I wouldn’t find you absolutely f*cking soaked for me?”
I am loving this series and each book brings a new challenge...I am loving the development of the war. This book focuses a lot on Atlas and Calla-which has been a long time coming. I do have some predictions on book #4, especially as far as the relationships go, but I'll save those...Someone mentioned some spicy scenes at weird times, and I would have to agree. They default to spice as almost a coping mechanism and may get old if it continues into book #4, but as for right now, I am still digging it...
OKAY OKAYYYY!!! The plot seems to be fizzling away tbh, or it's just stretched so long between books that it just seems gone (which I'm not entirely mad about the spice is great). Ok the spice is good, I'm glad Atlas got his moment to shine, I wish that ménage lasted longer or was more detailed but I digress. I know what it is. It feels rushed and confusing. Atlas has stopped fighting her and given in, the ménage was rushed, last time atlas said he'd go crazy to drink her blood but then he did it with no problems in this book?? Idk

This is defined one of those books where you have to go into the story knowing that you’re getting erotica with a very tiny smidge of a plot.
Because I knew this it was an immediate 5⭐️ read for me!
I genuinely love that none of the vamps personalities have merged together. With some RH series the boys all become a collective brain cell and you honestly couldn’t tell the difference between Tom, Dick, and Harry.
However, we are now in book 3 and each male has their own thing. Lex is still the kinky unhinged one, while somewhat sad Kade is still the self absorbed flirty model, Atlas is still a 🍆, and Gabriel is still the sweetest red headed golden retriever to ever exist.
I appreciate that books 2 and 3 have POVs that focus on Calla and each vamp. Book 2 was Gabriel’s book, and Book 3 is Kades. You start to understand why they are the way they are and how they came to be vampires.
And hey, if you’ve made it to book 3 you may as well keep going and see this porn-y hellscape through to the end🩷
I feel this audiobook was better than the last, but there was still parts that lagged for me. I can’t tell if it was too wordy for me, or if the plot was just so twisted, that it really was entangled. In that sense, the title fits, and I can appreciate that.
Narration was on point, and carried the book for me. Excellent performance.
Finalllyyyyyyy Calla and Atlas 🤌🏻 I have been WAITING for that moment, and it did not disappoint! All these cliffhangers 🤯 my mind is in overdrive trying to figure out where all the puzzle pieces fit. The hunters, the new relevation of the bload oath, Serene and Marcel, yes Marcel (I have a conspiracy, but I might be wrong - I hope I am) 👀 This book had equal amounts of spice and plot, and I'm HERE for it 👌🏻
I got sucked into this series from the very beginning of the first book. This third book delivered just as much as the first two; I had serious difficulty tearing myself away! But now I have to (impatiently) wait for the fourth book and what I’m sure will be an amazing conclusion to Calla & her vampires’ story. Well done J.A. Carter!
She's getting closer to them and in turn closer to the war raging on. She's feeling more for them, and they feel it too, but that comes with a price.
So much takes place so without giving away spoilers I need book 4. This series blends a lot of physical chemistry with drama, action, and throws in some feelings.
This whole series is amazing! The characters are easy to fall in love with and the writing is done very well. The story just keeps getting better and better making you want to read the next book immediately after the first and second are done. I highly recommend t!
Book 3: story and plot are improving. There is some repetition happening: lots of growling from the vampires, like every response from them has some type of growl. Still lots of sexy scenes. I felt some were placed in the story at odd times but maybe that's just me. My interest is still piqued so off to read book 4!
I couldn't finish this book... gave up half way through. The plot is so thin its anorexic! I read half the book and nothing had happened... apart from the sex of course. How does this woman manage with no sleep and three vampires constantly at her? Liked the first two books and had high hopes for this, so much so I preordered the fourth book.... lesson learnt!
Get ready because life changing bombs are dropping in this book! All the heat we expect is here to keep us squirming but this book comes with a few sucker punches you won’t see coming. A lot is exclamations were spouted while listening to the extremely talented Bordeaux team bring this book to life!
This is the third book in the Blood Oath series. I enjoyed every minute of this book. This book/ series has me in a chokehold. I was on the edge of my seat. The spice is **chef's kiss**. I was not ready for that cliffhanger. Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did a phenomenal job narrating this book.
Another fantastic installment of the series! From the very beginning I was hooked, and seeing the character development was amazing. I can’t wait for Fated in Ruby!
This brings the action. There are twists and turns all throughout. You get sucked in and lose track of time. Don't try to read this at night unless you want to stay up. Spice used as a way to cope, I get it, everyone has different ways of doing it. I thought it was unique.
I'm so invested in this series. I mean basic plot line but there really are so many plot twists that come unexpectedly. The cliffhangers really get you. Super easy read. I really do feel bad for Calla. She can't get a break. It is one thing after another. Overall I enjoy these books.
I loved this spicy why choose vampire romance! This whole series is delicious and easy to binge. I highly recommend reading this series. I'm not sure which man I love more but they are perfect and the story keeps you guessing what's going to happen next!
I love this story. So much going on and now with new info. How is she gonna handle this. Especially since she's falling for the guys. Poor Kade he just got his sister back
