Good one to know and understand about 2000+ years of religious-political history of Tamilnadu.

The books presents the detailed history of Saiva & Vainava and the growth of these 2 prominent religions under various rulers. A lot more information titbits makes this book a compelling & interesting read.

This one is the need of the hour as Hindutva is in full force and tries to absorb it.
