Synopsis

Kane and Knowledge are brothers who have experienced a horrible tragedy at a young age, they created an unbreakable alliance because of it. Kane tried his hand at love, to no avail, but that hasn’t stopped him from looking for that special one. Knowledge is a smash and dash type of man. Love is not on his radar, or in his vocabulary.

This is my first read by this author....This was a neutral read to me... This storyline jumped around a little bit and the timeline also jumped and I had to pause to know what time frame I was in... This did cause an interruption in the flow of the storyline...
Candy was a sweet girl that was in a relationship with a no good man named Rah... He didn't know how to treat her and just kept cheating on her... And she just kept taking him back... Now he is locked up and she is still holding him down... Her cousin Autumn tried to bring it to her attention that he is no good for her and that she deserves better... But she just would not listen... But one day she decides that she will go to a party with her cousin Autumn and their friend Peanut... And this is where things for her slowly start to change when she meets a man named Kane...
Autumn is the wild one of the two... She is not in a relationship and was just carefree... Her and her cousin are so close and always have eachothers back... She did what she needed to do to try and free up her cousin from Rah and his no good ways... But it did come back to bite her in the butt when it all came out... Her and Candy went to a party and she met a guy named Knowledge... They both thought this would be a quick one night stand... But things changed and they found themselves spending more time together... But Peanut was not happy about that because she felt like Knowledge was taking all of her attention and was leaving her and her feelings behind.... This really set her off and caused a lot of drama between them...
Knowledge and Kane were brothers with a good head on their shoulders... They were not in the streets like a lot men making money... Nope they were smart with their money and made lots if investments... But they were both single and looking for the right one... The welcome home party that Knowledge threw for his brother Kane had both men finding their soulmates... But the journey was not and easy one...
With lots of drama, backstabbing, secrets and lies this storyline starts to play out... Families are shattered... Relationships are destroyed and people start to show their true colors... But in the end... everyone finally got what they deserved...

Decent Read
I actually liked this book and loved the storyline. However there multiple errors throughout the book that took away from being able to fully enjoy it. I wasn't surprised at the secret Autumn and Candy mother's tried to hide. That part was predictable. Knowledge and Autumn were alike in many way's. That's why it was easy for them to gravitate towards each other. Both are very blunt and have zero filter. Knowledge had some baby momma drama. Keelie kept trying to cause trouble for him and Autumn and ended up with her feelings hurt. I know Autumn was trying to protect Candy from Rah. Her heart was in the right place but she went about it the wrong way when she realized how it hurt Candy. She also should've taken heed to Rah threat when he found out what she did. I knew Peanut had a few screws missing. Her obsession with Autumn was deadly. Candy was too young and too loyal to be waiting around for Rah cheating and disrespectful ass. Kane was definitely the better man and Candy realized it. Rah thought Candy being pregnant was his way back in and he found out the hard way that it wasn't.

I loved this book so much that I wish that it was more. When I say that Kane didn’t play about Candy at all he didn’t. I cried though. I loved how the fact that Kane beat Rah up and did what he did once he got to the jail. Knowledge didn’t play about Autumn neither those brothers didn’t play about them at all. Peanut was definitely wrong and jealous. I was so happy that Kane and Candy got married before the twins were born. I can’t wait to see what you have coming next

You did that with this standalone. What a wonderful story about young love, real life, and happily ever after. Candy mother is the type of parent I hate, treat one kid better than the other, all bcuz she did some snake shit in her past. Candy and Autumn were inseparable and had each others back through everything. Kane and Knowledge were the right men for them. Peanut and Rah were both jealous and crazy as hell, that both deserved their karma. The family secret tho😲I'm glad the girls was able to get over that hurdle and everything worked out for the best!

Good read
Whew those exes and Peanut was crazy. Like dog it was twice and you gone like that. I liked Kane and Knowledge they definitely came through for the ladies. Kane was not letting Candy go at all. So sad what they went through as children but atleast their made sure they were set. Baby those family secrets be something else. When they come tumbling out all hell breaks loose. Overall good job

Urban fiction with standup men!!
The sisters and the brothers met their match!! Loved the sisters/cousins/BFFs relationship. The brothers went for what they wanted and got what they deserved. Parental secrets almost caused generational heartbreak. Rah and Peanut were delusional and met their fate. Knowledge and Autumn were crazy with no filter., they have a spin-off, heading that way now!!!!!

Great book that will definitely put your emotions in the front!!!...I was bothered that the sister's relationship was sooooo toxic and it could have been resolved with some forgiveness!!!... The fact that their brother made sure his sister didn't go to jail is testament of that sibling love!!!...Rah know he was foul and Peanut too!!!...She was definitely looking for love in all the wrong places and it tipped her the rest of the way over the edge!!!...

Amazing is a understatement.
I loved everything about the book. It had so many twist and turns I just couldn't put it down. I read this book with 6 hours. Easy read, very real, so romantic it just paints a picture for you. I loved it. I hope there is a sequel. ! Great job Author ❤❤❤

Nice Read
Candy and Autumn were thick as thieves and had each others back through whatever came their way. Kane and Knowledge were exactly what the ladies needed when they came into their lives. Rah and Peanut were both crazy as hell with the plans they put in place for Autumn I am glad she ended up being ok and that they ended up getting their karma.

Refreshing Read
My first read from this author but definitely not my last. Oh what a tangled web you weave when you practice to deceive, that caused so much drama between the twin sisters. Glad that Candy and Autumn recovered from their mothers problems. Loved the relationship between Kane and Knowledge. Peanut and Rah were snakes that got them killed.

What a way to breakout on the scene!
I really enjoyed this book....I'm a sucker for a good ghetto romance. I'm happy to read a book where the men are actually up-standing thugs😂😂. All in all, this book deserves every star it receives. That damn Knowledge and Autumn needs their own story...they will have you in stiches laughing.... Excellent job!

Great read
This was a really good book. First of all I know something was off with Peanut from the beginning of the book. I didn’t like Rah for clowning Candy but baby she on top now. I’d love to hear more on Autumn and Knowledge. Kane did prove who’s the better man why getting Candy pregnant. I’m happy it wasn’t Rah’s kids.

Don’t know how I missed this book but glad I found it!!! I enjoyed reading bout these young couples. Candy and Kane were a cute couple. Kane knew what he wanted from the start!!! I hated that Peanut did what she did. Autumn and Knowledge crazy together but in a good way!! Great read!!!

So Good…..
Such a good story. With all the secrecy, it was obvious Candy and Autumn shared the same father. Peanut and Rah were my initial suspects in shooting Autumn but I never thought they were working together I figured it would be one or the other. I’m so glad no one had to get their hands dirty to get revenge. Now on to Knowledge and Autumn’s story.

I read this book in one sitting! I just couldn’t put it down! It was so good from start to finish. I’d love to see a spin-off on Knowledge & Autumn and see how their budding love flourishes. Keep up the good work Charisse!

A cute love story with likeable characters, drama, family dysfunction, and a couple of crazy characters. Kane was just what Candy needed, having never had real love from the one man she had an relationship with. I enjoyed reading this story.
