The start of the book was what I loved. We are right away introduced to the life of Elizabeth, and her struggles and the writer did a wonderful job of incorporating Asmodeus in her life. I went through the book with a lot of expectations but sadly, I was disappointed. Asmodeus's character was a little weary for me at first but as the novel went on, his character cleared up buttooot to much. The author introduced a new language which was explained properly and I was excited to dive in but as the story progressed my excitement dampened as it created a lot of confusion. There were a lot of plot holes which disturbed the reading experience. I adored the relationship between Asmodeus's son and Elizabeth in this book.

This book is kinda confusing and left off on too many unanswered questions. Probably won’t read book 2 because honestly book 1 wasn’t that fulfilling. The fact that they had sex right after she gave birth not even giving her time to clean herself was gross. Then he kills her. All while there newborn baby girl is missing. Then she says the world is about to end…..Then the book ends 🙄
