Once again Johnstone does it, by the time you get through the first 2 chapters you are transported back to the old west as an observer, watching another great adventure unfold.
Another great story with Matt and Sam. This story was a little disturbing. When outlaws kill men, women and children with no concern and enjoying it, makes a person wonder what our world is coming to.
One of my least favorites, lotta action but the storyline just didn’t do it for me. I think maybe my problem is reading this whole series at once. I think I would recommend maybe reading a couple then going to other books then coming back and reading a couple of more.
There is just something off about the way the story is written. My guess is the AI helped with this story! I could be wrong, if so then its just a drawn out wordy effort to make a long novel!
A great story with thrills galore, interesting and spellbinding from start to finish. Good won over evil once again. This is the maestro of the Western genre.
This one was more standard fare, didn't have many 1 liners. Didn't seem to have many gunfights either. Just following the outlaws around and watching them make a plan. It was just ok.
I really enjoyed this one. Matt and Sam take a hand, first in defending a small town from an outlaw gang, then in getting the captured leader to Yuma Prison for the hanging. Well written and I had a small grin at the name of a deputy in the town.
