BANE & BOUND is part of the TWISTED LEGENDS COLLECTION which is a multi author series, each book is designed to be read as a standalone. It is also the first book in Crimson Syn's upcoming series EMPIRE OF THE FALLEN and I look forward to more of the fallen angels.
In this story we have Beau Kavanaugh who has made a deal with Devil, he is to grant him a million souls in return for his own. Well that seems simple enough once the Hellhound enters his body and helps with the tasks until the very last soul they must take, Elora Wolfsbane's. There is something about her that calls to him and the Hellhound, but if they don't take her soul Beau and the Hellhound will be cast into the depths of hell for eternity. Can they do it? Or will they somehow out smart the devil himself?
I have read numerous books by Crimson Syn from her MC Romances to her Dark and twisted, this is her first Paranormal book and I was really looking forward to seeing what she had in store for us. I don't know why but I just didn't connect with this book, it's dark and twisted, it's erotic and suspenseful, all the things I enjoy but I just didn't love it as much as I hoped I would have. The story line was good and I am looking forward to more of the series, I just had a hard time connecting with the characters for some reason. But like I said it was still a good read and I will be reading more of the series.
If you enjoy Dark Steamy Paranormal Romances I would recommend this book to you.

Bane & Bound was a fast-paced, twisted, shifter, age gap, dark paranormal fantasy romance. This was a twisted tale of a Hellhound, Beau Kavanaugh, and a bookstore owner/demon huntress Elora Wolfsbane.
The premise of this book was intriguing and I was hooked from the first page. Beau and Elora were a unique match and I enjoyed reading the progression of their relationship. I was thoroughly invested in the book once I got to know the characters and was immersed in the story. There were a few things that I wasn’t sure about, but ultimately I didn’t want the book to end.
I enjoyed these characters, the heartbreak, the angst, and the danger. I can’t wait to read more from Syn.

Def an alpha style book. Loved the twist on hellhounds and witches. Good dark romance. Good plot. Excited to read the rest of the series for sure.

Elora was marred with this curse,a neverending circle of demons and hounds trying to take her soul from her,a curse only bestowed upon her because of a family member's ill fated decisions.
Elora and Beau's journey to wanting each other and the growth and heartache they went through kept me gripped from start to finish and I look forward to the next!

Elora’s soul was promised to hell the day she was born and she has been fighting ever since. Beau was tied to a hellhound for the past century claiming souls. His last soul is Elora, but something is different. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. This is my first book by this author definitely not my last. I love a strong female lead and a sexy alpha male.

Beau will soon learn the more he is near Elora not only is he fighting this intense desire for her, but his Hellhound has chosen her also. Lucifer promises him freedom after her brings him a thousand souls. 60 years later he is down to only one soul and he will be free. That is when he comes face to face with Elora, and as soon as he sees her he knows that taking her soul wouldn’t be an easy task. What happens next is story that will make you sitmat the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns. Their story is dark, seductive, and a romance written by fate.
I really enjoyed all twists and turns between good and bad and the HEA for Beau and Elora. That ending was *chef's kiss*. I can’t wait for Karma’s story.

I REALLY wanted to love this book. The plot sounded incredibly interesting and I was ready to submerse myself into my first angels/demons/paranormal romance. And at the beginning, things were shaking out to be amazing. But then...I don't even know. There was a lot of interesting back story for both main characters. But for me, once they actually came in contact with one another, the story just dove head first into a wall and then tried to parkour all over the damn place.
Once Elora and Beau met, the anticipation and intensity was just no longer there. It became instant but confusing attraction. More characters, who played integral roles in the continuation of the story, were barely introduced. And the main action of the story became very rushed with too many loose ends. There were also a ton of editing errors that made everything a bit more frustrating. As for the spice, it just never hit home. It was minimal and their interaction was very 'surface', if that makes sense without giving too much away.
I still gave this book 3 stars because I finished it and still really liked the overall plot. I just wish it had a do-over with better editing, more fleshing out of the characters, their relationships, and the action.

Once Elora and Beau met, the anticipation and intensity was just no longer there. It became instant but confusing attraction. More characters, who played integral roles in the continuation of the story, were barely introduced. And the main action of the story became very rushed with too many loose ends. There were also a ton of editing errors that made everything a bit more frustrating. As for the spice, it just never hit home. It was minimal and their interaction was very 'surface', if that makes sense without giving too much away.
I still gave this book 3 stars because I finished it and still really liked the overall plot. I just wish it had a do-over with better editing, more fleshing out of the characters, their relationships, and the action.

Can’t wait to read Kimaris and Karmas story next!

This is the 8th book in the Twisted Legends Collection, and the first book I’ve read by this author. I have read Blood & Vows by K. Easton and Departed Whispers by J Rose and after trading Bane & Bound I can’t wait to go back and read the others in this collection. Crimson drew me in so fast with this book. Ah, Hellhound, hunting lost souls, an antihero of the underworld. Character development and world building were great. A true page turner. Please check the trigger warnings though.

Crimson at her devilish finest. I’ve read a lot of Ms. Syn’s works and may I say her dark devious side really shines through in Bane & Bound. It’s a paranormal romance not to be missed in this reader's humble opinion. It's a dark twisted storyline about a man, Bou, who is cursed by the devil upon his death. He must live his life as a Hellhound shifter capturing souls and returning to the devil. When and if he meets his quota, he can return to the land of the living without the Hellhound one slip up and he’s hell bound forever. Bou has one soul left. But the devil is a wise one and has purposely chosen Elora to be that last soul. Elora has her own problems having been cursed on the day she was born, yet schooled by a mother who was part witch. But after her mother’s death she is now on her own.
These two become the pawns in the devil’s evil games. Does anyone win or will they all lose out in the end?
Great paranormal read with twists, darkness and romance.

First time I read a story about hellhounds and being blind to their prey and I really enjoyed it.
Elora is a strong woman who even though she’s been dealt a shitty life (with being hunted by demons and hellhounds and her father selling her soul to the devil the day she was born) she makes the most of it. The way she kept fighting Beau off until the very end was perfect lol
Beaus relationship with his hellhound really surprised me. They would work as one instead of the hellhound always trying to take over.
Now Karma was my favorite even if she was just a side character and I can’t wait to read more about her story.
Overall the story was really well written, the spice was on point and the characters had depth. I really enjoyed it.

Wow! Talk about a story that sticks with you, won’t let you put it down, and is full of twisted, dark, and interesting characters! I loved this book of the Hell Hound that won’t give up no matter what. He doesn’t always follow the rules, but he’ll fight until he has nothing left.
A man that’s on the wrong side of the law pays for his sins by doing the devil’s bidding and becoming the capsule for a Hell Hound that is given another chance to serve the devil. There’s just one problem, these two have been bound to another.
With the loss of his wife, a man makes a deal at the crossroads, but his payment is not what he expected. Now he’s sentenced an innocent life and lost his family anyways. The Devil will get his payment, one way or another.
This was a great story that was twisted, dark, dangerous, and well written. It was quick paced and very hard to put down. I loved the twists and the depraved story of the Hell Hound and the girl. I give this story a 5-star review.

The story is good and I enjoyed it but there were numerous misspellings which is why I knocked it down half a star.

Thoughts - this was my first hell hound type book and while I’m a converted fan for demons and the devil etc, im going to try several more wolf/hellhound type books to see if it my jam. Who am I kidding it probably will be seeing there’s only one topic which I just can’t get In too. In saying all that I really enjoyed the storyline and the complexity it covered. There were witches, demons, angels, The devil, hell hounds, pacts, you get the idea. Definitely worth the read… and when the spice drops 🥵
Plot - Beau has been pulled from the depths of hell to complete a contract for the devil. Join a bell hound, collect some souls and you can join the living again. Beau & Eloras story started of very slowly & was rather difficult to get through the first few chapters but I'm so glad I pushed.
The story took a very pleasant turn & couldn't put it down.
Beau's character changed within a blink, he went from a terrifying deadly hound to a passionate guard dog to a fierce but tired girl in need of love.
As a fan of the Winchesters I absolutely LOVED demons finally finding love & protecting human at all cost
Can not wait for Kimaris & Karmas Story, the fallen angel & the witch.

BANE & BOUND is my first read in the multi author series that didn’t disappoint. A fast paced paranormal/fantasy romance story between good and evil. Beau finds himself as a vessel for a Hellhound and stuck to do the work for Lucifer until his contract is complete. When his last task finds him in front of Elora, he knew that it wouldn’t be an easy one. What happens next is an edge of your seat storyline that is dark, seductive, and a romance written by fate. I enjoyed all twist between good and bad and the HEA for Beau and Elora.

I still don't know how I feel about this book.
I've loved pretty much everything from this author (she does kink and filthy unlike anyone else), and trying her hand at one of my new favorite subgenres... gimme gimme gimme
Paranormal romance and Crimson Syn's special brand of fuckery sounds like magic.
And yet... it didn't work for me.
I couldn't connect with the characters.
I found it hard to follow what was happening and why.
In the end, I enjoyed plenty of this story's elements and would love to see more of this from this author.

I am speechless! This has kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page to the very last (Oh Yes, I want more of Karma!).

This is my first book from Crimson Syn and from my understanding this is their first paranormal book. The was really good this was book 10 in the Twisted Legends Collection and is a stand-alone.
This book revolves around Beau and Elora. Beau was in criminal and his life and was killed when he was killed he made a deal he became the vessel of a hellhound to collect souls for Lucifer. Elora is a human who is cursed. Her mother had her soul protected but Beau and his hellhound are drawn to her.

Demons and Angels
The story line is decent, it’s a slow start if I’m being honest and the last 50 pages is where it starts to fill in better. BUT what annoys me is that there aren’t enough details. They will start in a place and all of the sudden things change and you have to go back and make sure you didn’t miss the change. Also there are some serious grammatical errors that are confusing or just annoying. Only book out of this series worth reading is Truth or Kill.

This book was not one of my favorites in the series but it was still really good. It was more frustrating for me due to the lack of options for the characters. okay before you get your panties in a bunch over the rating ...i have read lots of CS's book. you know i love her style ...this book a bit different ...but i have some ?'s and i felt a bit lost ...from the beginning and i am kind of confused. look at the cover ...hot dude there. had me curious. but where did i miss something. i am gonna come back 2 him soon ...try him again on for size. LOL!! different genre or style whichever it is ...but i enjoyed the change. fun times.

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. This book was so difficult to read. Did anyone proofread it?! There were so many errors, and they made reading it hard work. I really liked the idea of the story, but it was terribly written. A lot of it didn't make sense, and it jumped around a lot. I also hated that she was having s*x with a dog! It's not my idea of a hot storyline.
I'd like to know Karma and Kasimis' story, but I can't face reading another book by this author.
