Being the archangel of selflessness got me screwed over and kicked out of my home. I’d spent my entire existence guiding those to give of themselves and help their fellow angels. Even when Lucifer marched on Heaven’s gate, I once more attempted to get those I called family to see a better way. Sadly, Father didn’t see that. He didn’t even give me the chance to explain before I was cast out of Heaven and forever trapped on Earth or worse in Hell. If Father wanted to cast me out and turn me into this symbol, the Sin of Greed, I would not only accept the challenge as Riker, I’d rise above it.
And then I met her and the world once more shifted beneath my feet.
Minetta wanted nothing more than to have a normal life and do something that made her feel proud. Working as a 911 operator gave her that feeling, but there was always something missing from her life. She’d conditioned herself to allow those around her to walk all over her for the greater good. Until one day, she unwittingly became the pawn in a chess match she never knew existed.
A deadly war was brewing, one that had been waged for centuries and could mean the end for humanity. Pulled into the middle of this tug-of-war, she met him, Riker. The man was imposing, but the Sin that lived under that sexy exterior was terrifying, and yet her heart still pounded hard when he was near.
Could Minetta have love in her life and save the human race, or would she end up having to choose?

Writing is not just a passion for me. It is a lifeline to my sanity.

I have always loved writing but suffer from severe dyslexia and short-term memory retention issues. I struggled in school while I worked every night on re-training my brain.

I was frequently treated like I would never succeed, and I found myself putting my love for writing on a shelf.

Even at the age of six, I found it easier to communicate with animals than people, which was a big reason why I was drawn to dressage horseback riding. I remained focused on my passion for riding until I had to step away from the competition world for personal reasons.

Today, my desire for writing and storytelling has been rekindled. I have published multiple books and will never let anyone or anything hold me back again.
I am a proud romance author who offers my readers morally grey heroes, a ton of spice, epic journeys, and redemption stories.

When I saw a new Seven Sin Series, I was seriously jumping up and down. So far, I am far from disappointed.

Ryker is one of the Original fallen angels, now better known for sin as Greed. He works hard and plays just as hard. As much as he comes off as a jerk, he is a good decent guy. I loved him from chapter one.

Minetta is unique and caring; she has a pure soul. With a string of bad luck with men. Dealing with a few struggles life has thrown her.

In Ryker’s eyes, he can’t stand humans, but he is completely thrown off guard when he meets Minetta. And everyone in his life notices. But wait, there is a ton of secrets and darkness.

I was completely and utterly invested by 31%. I needed to know how the story was going to unfold. First, I love a good PNR, and that is what was delivered. Second, the character growth, especially Ryker’s, is fantastic. So, I didn't put the book down. The epilogue is everything. Greed is a must read.

I think this was maybe my third paranormal romance read and it was beyond intriguing. For someone who isn't familiar with this genre, this author painted a vividly beautiful picture along with dark and creepy factors woven into a story that captivated me. Had me wanting to read more and made me fully invested in these characters.

Riker is better known as the sin, Greed. He lives extravagantly, plays hard and over the top... he is the epitome of greed. He wants for nothing and is able to get everything (or anyone) he so desires.

Minetta is beyond caring, selfless and is just the perfect girl next door. She spends her days as a 911 operator, hanging out with her pup and best friend and volunteering in as many ways as she can. A do gooder through and through.

What happens when an original sin is so enamored by a mere human that it takes over his everyday thoughts? Humans are disgusting pieces of junk in his eyes.... but there is something so fascinating about her. Riker has fallen once.... can he do it again?? Will Minetta be able to open her eyes to the other worldly and dark side of what Riker's life is truly like?

This story sucked me in and delivered on everything I had hoped a paranormal romance would be. I rooted for these two (they had chemistry that burned bright and only got stronger), I cringed at the realistic picture of the dark underworld and I got teary a time or two. So glad I didn't pass on this one and stepped out of my comfort zone!

This book is why we can't have nice things. It was bad.

I genuinely can't even describe what a mess this was- I don't know how I managed to finish it, but I'm actively working on blocking it out 💀🤡.

Anyways I'll leave ya'll with some of my newfound out-of-context trauma 🤩: the 911 sausage vacuum scene scared me, and I am not ok.

”I’d been born a powerful archangel, and reborn a prince, the sin of greed, but my fall was from a woman's touch that showed me the meaning of love”

WOW! This is the first book in the Seven Sins series and it was AMAZING. This book made me laugh, cry, swoon and mad. At first I couldn’t figure it out but when everything starts to shape, I couldn’t put this down, I loved every character, they were amazing, the plot was so good, I liked the fact that everything was explained in great detail but didn’t feel tedious to read and the last chapters had me on CHOKEHOLD.

ARC provided in exchange of my honest opinion

TW: very bad other woman and almost cheating drama. If this is a trigger for you- I highly suggest you skip it.

You know a story is bad when the h herself admits she is a pushover. Well there’s one less thing for me to do in this review.

30% and the H is still sleeping with other women

70% in and the h and the H are on a date and the h is down the hall and the H almost cheats on her with his assistant? There was so much other woman in this book that there is hardly any story. And it’s like… by the time you reach her you’re so accustomed to him sleeping with EVERYONE that this isn’t even an issue 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s supposed to be a second chance romance but it doesn’t feel like it. I’m DNF-ing this shit. Like I can’t get into any of the dirty talk between the H and the h when only pages about he was screwing everyone.

If you think I’m exaggerating then listen to this: on Wednesdays he has a line of women in his office that he screws with a friend. Our h catches him in one of these “sessions”. But wait! This is the H being generous as these women are humans and not satisfied in their relationships. He literally screws everything on page. What the hell? And the h is like “I’m not afraid of who came before me…” and then a few pages later she’s feeling insecure- as she should! Why do authors use celibacy as a tool to show affection? Like the H who f*cked everything before suddenly now can’t get it up without the h?

That’s honestly so dumb. There’s nothing happening her but a man mistreating the romance genre.

“𝐷𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓, 𝑜𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑝𝑢̈𝑛𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑑.”

Riker may be the Sin of Greed, but trust me when I say, Greed is far from his only Sin 😈🔥🔥. This "man" brought a spice level I was not expecting 🥵. Combine that with him being jealous/possessive and I'm in heaven...or hell 😈

Riker truly embodies Greed in every way. He doesn't just embrace his sin, he owns it 😈. He's cutthroat and ruthless when it comes to business and even more so when it comes to the "personal". If he wants it, it will be his...and he wants Minetta 😍🥵.

Minetta is such an awesome heroine. She's been through a lot but she definitely isn't the type to let it break her. She's exactly what Riker needs, whether they both realize it or not.

This book is the perfect blend of pnr and dark romance.Truly an amazing read that surprised me from the very first page and never stopped. There were so many unexpected layers and by the end of this book, I had gone through so many emotions in the best of ways. Absolutely amazing book and the perfect start to Seven Sins Series. Riker has definitely earned his title as a top book boyfriend 😍

Five dripping-with-gold stars for this amazing book! It is hot, suspenseful, intense, & packed an emotional punch that hit in just the right way.

Riker is the epitome of Greed, and I loved every bit of it. When he decides he wants something, he won't stop until he has his way, and his 'little bird' is no exception. (I'm a sucker for a nickname, 😮‍💨 and this was soooo good!) He is intense, charming as hell, possessive, jealous, all wrapped up in a dangerously hot package. He has me seeing Wednesdays in a whole new way 😉

Minetta finds herself in some scary, intense situations, but I loved how she handled herself. Her strength and the way she takes on the unexplainable things happening around her was so well done. The world building lets us experience every new revelation with the characters and I loved getting lost in this world!

As with all Dark romance, mind your triggers before going in. This is a 🔥Spicy🔥 PNR read- It was a great combination of paranormal and reality, and so well laid out that it was easy to get lost in. Perfect way to kick off the series, absolutely loved this book!

This is my first read by Brooklyn and I am head over heels in love.

Minny is the kindest soul with a heart of gold. She has just the right amount of sass to level out the goodness and her bravery is out of this world.

Riker (aka Mammon) is the sin greed and holy smokes does this demon live up to my envisions and then exceeded them. He is definitely sin wrapped in well tailored suit but still has a bit of his golden heart hidden beneath his blackened soul.

I loved watching how these two come together. I adored how Minny reminded Riker of what he once embodied and how he still could while still embracing his dark side. I loved how Riker never tried to change Minny.

Brooklyn wrote an extraordinary story about a love that was found for the least likely of a person. I found myself laughing at the banter and gasping while white knuckling my kindle while reading. And of all the things unholy - the steam was hot enough to think I had stepped down to do a meet and greet with devil himself. I loved every single character that I met - when you meet Shilo and Penny you’ll know what I mean.

I loved everything about this story. This is a flawless tale that wasn’t too dark nor too light. I laughed, cried, yelled, and swooned - honestly I didn’t want to say goodbye. I will definitely be adding to this to physical bookshelf of favorites because this has turned out to be one of my top 10 favorite reads of all time.

DNF @ 40% this just wasn’t for me. I wanted to finish it I really did, I’ve heard so much about this series but this one I just can’t stomach anymore.
-the H , greed/riker, spends his Wednesdays servicing a line of women… literally he says over 50 when we get this scene, then his best friend, Neven, (whose a demon) whose facing him also going through his own line of chicks, is who he then fucks once he kicks the last chick out bc “demon ass will do”. Strike 1– i don’t care if the H has been a whore but I don’t wanna have long scenes or multiple scenes of him with others. But he hadn’t met the h yet so I kept reading
-then another scene we meet Sky who is neven sister. Who we hear has been banging our H also, drops for her floor in the demon fight club to suck him off… and then the H tells neven whose sitting next to him while Sky is sucking his d*ck that he can come back to his place with his sister tonight bc he knows he likes it, even though neven told us when they walked into the fight club, his ass was still sore from before… 😒 strike 2 …. Not excited but kept going.
-he has met the h briefly, tries to find her but she’s eluding him (unintentionally), he threatens her ex bf who is moving outta her house while she’s away and while the H is there trying to see her again since the brief first encounter. Then the h is trying to deliver a thank you fruit basket to the company who donated so much to a local food bank (she is manipulated by H Nemesis with this info to kinda force her to go there and thank the company which causes her to see what she does), anyway she goes to deliver this fruit basket, on Wednesday… walks past a lonngggg line of women, to get to the office door that CRACKED OPEN, hears NEXT yelled and the door opens, and what does he see?…. H balls deep in a chick bent over his desk… she drops basket and runs out— HE YELLS AND RUNS AFTER HER… but can’t catch her bc of all the women… 🤨 strike 3… but still I tryyyy to read on.. I’m thinking ok something soon will happen and that will like be together although idk how bc st this point he makes me fucking sick.
-on a side note- micheal is the Nemesis and he def is manipulating our h, he seems all perfect and sweet but he tells her about the company that donated and thst no one gave them any thanks so maybe they won’t donate again/ so she goes and sees what she does. He asks her to dinner and they have dinner plans the same night she’s see the office scene. Michael dangles that in Greeds face and of course who shows up and end up having dinner WITH them… greed and …. SKY! Yep.. the sucking hoochie demon…
-While H and Sky are walking into the restaurant to have a double date with micheal and our h (who greed is internally thinking, oh micheals not gonna touch her, he already says she’s his in his office once Michael confronts him, after our h has seen him balls deep…) anywaysssss sooo they are walking to the table.. and Sky is talking about the H dick and I just was done… I read a few pages and he does seem annoyed with Sky and that he doesn’t want her but I mean… this is hours after the office and he’s like wanting the h, but I think that at this point… I’m just not invested anymore.

Maybe I’ll try again… I really wanted to read but I just don’t want to honestly so I’m stopping 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll try the next book

Let me tell you; this series is doing it for me! I read it a little out of order and started with book two: Lust. A different author writes each book in this series. I like the concept; it gives each book a fresh take on one of the seven deadly sins.
NOW, Greed was the first book I've read by this author and the first book in this series. It follows Riker- a fallen archangel who is doomed to leave internity on earth. He meets a human woman, Minny, who is sweet and kind and doesn't have greed in her heart. There are a couple of battle scenes in Heaven and Hell, and you meet Michael, another archangel from Heaven, and other demons who may be a part of the series in the future. I hope so.
I like that although this book is about a fallen angel, his anger towards God, and his complete lack of empathy towards humans, it doesn't read like a religious book. There are lots of steamy parts in this book, which focuses on the love story and not so much on the battle between good and evil.
I've already purchased the next book in the series, and I'm looking forward to it and reading more books by this author!

One of the hottest books of 2022

Greed can certainly settle in soul. For a fallen angel who feels he was done wrong it's even easier. But how long can it bring happiness. Only until he meets his match. A woman who doesn't fall at his feet. A woman who is his prophecy to become righteous again. He must remain the sin to keep balance between the heaven he left and the hell he calls home.

The reincarnation of his old love will test his faith. But through passion and the reawakening of emotions long lost, Greed might end up with everything.

This is an amazing book. One of my favorites by this fabulous author.

Greed by Brooklyn Cross of the Seven Sins series have been a jolting read for me as I am not really a paranormal romance reader but this book brought me one step closer to the other side. It was an engaging, anxiety inducing, and nail biting kind of a read and I loved every minute of it. Riker and Minetta were deliciously magnetic and they wreaked havoc on my poor hormones. Of course, Brooklyn Cross had to surprise me by making me ugly cry close to the ending which consequently doused the fire in my veins and turned me into a overly sensitive sap. Done guess that’s what makes a good author. She can flip your emotions upside down in a whim. The idea of seven deadly sins roaming the earth along with angels and demons is a brilliant concept so I look forward to reading the whole series.

The Seven Sins series really intrigued me since I'm a dark & twisty girl. and the bonus is me discovering new authors to boot. The books are dark paranormal stories that are up my alley. I'm going to keep it short & sweet since the title pretty much talks about the topic at hand in the book, plus it was so awesome going in blind but please understand there are triggers. The moment I opened Greed, I was drawn in completely, only coming up for air when every last page was devoured. I loved this author's writing style so I'll be checking out her previous work since I do believe her talent is right up my dark & twisty alley. If you love books that take a walk on the dark side, Greed is a book that you want to experience (even if you don't read paranormal normally) so you know what to do if you're intrigued! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book is phenomenal!!

Greed is book #1 of thr multi author Seven Sin series.

Riker is greed. He makes no apologies for it, and owns being one of the seven deadly sins.

Minetta is a sweetheart and the furthest thing from greedy. When Riker meets her, he feels a pull to her.

These 2 couldn't be more different, but i actually love them together!

Brooklyn makes you feel like you are in the story along with the characters, she gives the perfect amount of detail so you can picture things perfectly and I got lost in this world!

This book is AMAZING and you guys need to read it! This series is gonna be EPIC!

Greed is the first book in the multi author Seven Sins series. This was paranormal at its best, filled with angels, demons, action, violence, steam and so much more. It was dark, intense, tragic and yet completely riveting. This novel grabbed my attention from the very first chapter and I was fully engrossed until the end.
This is Riker/Mammon/Maddix, one of the Fallen angels and demon of Greed, and the human Minetta's story. Riker was the embodiment of greed and Minetta didn't have a greedy bone in her body making these two complete opposites but I loved them together. They had an instant, undeniable chemistry the minute they met, but due to his greedy nature Minetta didn't like Riker. The story is more that just a romance. It centered around a prophesy and an impending apocalypse, leading to the fall of humanity and the lengths demons will go through to prevent the prophesy from being fulfilled. The author gave us a plot that took us on quite a journey. She did a great job with world building and I was easily able to picture it all. The description of the various demons and certain aspects of hell as well as Heaven and the Great Fall was captivating.
The characters all caught my attention in one way or the other, some I liked, some I didn't but they all added a different layer and helped to move the story forward. This story was emotional with the last few chapter making me cry. I really didn't know what would happen however I loved every twist and turn.
This well written page turner was a fantastic read and I can't wait to dive into the other books in this series. I would highly recommend it to lovers of dark paranormal romance.

Wowzers, you know that going into a series that is about the Seven Sins it is going to be a dark read, but man was I drawn in like a moth to a flame with Greed! This was a roller coaster ride of emotions from start to finish and I have to admit that I had no freaking clue what was going to happen next, but I LOVED it!

All in all if you are looking for your next read that is on the darker side of paranormal romance, this is right up your alley! I was a little confused about the first person/third person POV switch off, but not enough that it hinders the story. This is an awesome start to the series and really sets things in motion for what is going to happen next while concentrating on Riker and Minetta. It had me feeling all kinds of ways, in the best way possible! I totally give it 4.5 outta 5 stars and cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

PS: Thank you to Brooklyn Cross and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

This was my introduction to Brooklyn's writing and she did not disappoint. The story was equal parts thrilling, heartbreaking and hot as hell, pun intended!! Riker, Prince of Hell and the Sin of Greed was just perfect, and by prefect I mean broken, hot and he knows it, and in desperate need of someone to be his guiding light as much as he would deny it! My heart broke for Minetta over and over and when I say that her back story crushed me and the pain she endures with such grace, I was sobbing in the middle of the night because I could not put this book down. It gripped me right from that first scene and the war of Heaven. I cannot wait to read the rest of the Sins but also everything else Brooklyn has written!!!

When I see something that has anything to do with the 7 seven deadly sins when it comes to books, I'm all in. So imagine my excitement when I saw this multi-author series was going to be published soon...Turns out I was right to be excited.

Brooklyn Cross's book, Greed, is the first one in the series, and it is an absolutely spectacular start.

We have Riker and Minetta, who couldn't be more different.

Riker is Greed. Literally. He's dangerous, charming, jealous, possessive and is definitely anapologetic about who he is. He owns being Greed.

Minetta on the other hand is the complete opposite. She's kind, caring, compassionate, selfless. She works as 911 operator and volunteers.

But there's an immediate connection when these two meet and when they come together it's pure...magic.

This book exceeded my expectations. It took me a minute to get into it, but once I did I couldn't put it down. Brooklyn has created an amazing world, with vivid descriptions, where everything is perfectly explained. It was also quite emotional in some parts and i got teary eyed once or twice.

All in all, I loved everything about it. I loved the characters, the plot, the side characters, the setting, the writing, the descriptions, the romance, the steam. EVERYTHING.

Oh, this is a dark PNR romance, so check the TW before you read it

Thank you to Wildlife Marketing Solutions and Brooklyn Cross for me with an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

First off WOW!! This book as all the heat and then some. It made me mad, made me happy it even made me cry. It took me a bit to get into it but once I did I wad flipping pages on a frenzy. The last few chapters had me in tears and I didn’t know where it was going. I can say this book was so very well written and the characters were absolutely amazing. Even the secondary characters stood out in the story.

I did read the book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Greed meets girl. Girl immediately hates Greed.

Greed makes an absolute ass of himself several times.

When he finally gets it together and starts putting in genuine effort to become a better man, it's one of the most beautiful and charming love stories ever written.

And oh, so very steamy. SO HOT.

I laughed, I cried, I felt all the feels. And then I restarted it and read it again.

Holy shit. This book was incredible.
From the very beginning I couldn't wait to turn to the page to find out what was next.

This book was so funny, full of angst and loads of delicious steam.

Riker is definitely up there in my favorite book boyfriends.

Riker and Minny couldn't be more opposite but more perfect for eachother.

I can’t say enough about how much I loved this book. The emotional rollercoaster the storyline and characters take you on is perfect. Brooklyn doesn’t disappoint with the spice either. Greed is a powerful businessman, sun and a fallen angel; Minetta is works as a 911 dispatcher, she lives a quiet human life. But what happens when their worlds collide? You definitely need to read this book to find out!

Out Of The Park

This book was dark and intense, but what an incredible read👏. It will make you cry,  it will make you laugh, make your temperature rise, have you on the edge of your seat, and have your heart racing. Greed has set the bar high for the sins. This book is about the Archangel of Greed aka Riker. What he wants he always gets and with the world full of greed everything is at his fingertips until he runs into a little human named Mineta. What happens when these two cross paths is fate, it is written into the prophecies. It's crazy intense and heartbreaking. Will the prophecy come true? Grab your tissues and read Greed to find out what happens. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Arc received for an honest review.

a rollercoaster

This book is an emotional rollercoaster. Seriously you go from laughing to crying and everything in between. A good read a great story good character development. My only complaint would be the passage from 1st POV for Ryler to 3rd for Minny. Other than that it was great.

So I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book. It originally came off very religious based, and it is… but not in the way you think.

Riker is the fallen archangel of selflessness, and when he falls, he becomes the original sin of Greed. He thinks ‘Father’ (god) is stupid for creating humans and putting them on such high pedestals… until her.

Minetta (Minny) Johnson is a NYC 911 operator who enjoys the simple things in life. She was never a fan of the lavish things, and she especially didn’t like Riker. After kicking her dead beat boyfriend to the curb, Minny decided it was time for her to live her life. Little did she know that that life she would start living involved demons and archangels.

This was a fantastic read. I enjoyed every second of it, and I would have finished it sooner if my full time job didn’t drain every ounce of me 🫠

❤️ Tropes: Touch her you die, paranormal romance, fated love, grumpy/sunshine, demons/angels, HEA

⚠️ Triggers: Emotional/sexual abuse not by MCs, implications of SA but no explicit details (not by MCs), childhood loss

1st & 3rd person/dual pov (don't let the 3rd person sway you away from this one!)
Spice: 5/5

OBSESSED. I'm honestly upset with myself for taking so long to come across this book! Then again I am also kind of glad I didn't until the audiobook was out because I don't think there is a better way to experience this story other than the audio. I've listened to some good audiobooks but this one was stellar! You can tell these two narrators put their hearts and soul into these characters. But the range with which they played all the different characters is what had me floored. They both did such a good job of creating different voices and personalities to fit each one that I often forgot this wasn't a multicast recording. Especially P.J. - those demon voices were so perfectly creepy sometimes! And the emotions they put into this as well? They screamed they cried, they whispered, they laughed. It was as if I was there in the room with them while these conversations were happening and not listening to it all through a pair of headphones. Just amazing work all around.

Now let's talk about the story itself. Set in a shared world with six other authors, Greed follows the story of the fallen angel who became the deadly sin of Greed. Going by the name of Riker since the fall he is an extremely wealthy businessman and the embodiment of greed as he should be. Still holding on to all of the anger and hatred from his banishment from Heaven he is pretty much a grade-A jerk to anyone in his path and seems to be a forever bachelor. My favorite thing about Riker's character is that even though he has been on Earth for centuries at this point he still has so much confusion about humans and the way they operate sometimes. I loved being inside his head and getting all of his snarky thoughts about the ins and outs of human lives and his opinions on the race as a whole. Some things he has figured out quite well and uses it to his benefit such as how to manipulate human predictability into making himself even more money. Then of course there are his Wednesdays... Trust me when I say you will laugh so hard it hurts once you realize what I'm talking about and you'll never look at a Wednesday the same way again!

So Riker is living his best fallen angel life until he stumbles across a human woman by the name of Minetta. She looks almost identical to a woman he knew in heaven but quickly realizes she is not her. Not only is she human but she seems to have no greed or any of the other sins living in her heart. She's not like any other human he's met before and for some reason, he can't get her out of his head. And as much of a jerk as she thinks he is Minetta can't stop thinking about him either. Unfortunately, others have noticed they've met and are actively trying to remove Minetta from the picture right under Riker's nose, believing she is the key to stopping an ancient prophecy from coming true.

Talk about a couple fighting to be in each other's lives. These two are literally fighting Heaven and Hell to find their happiness as well as each other. Riker is so set in his sinful ways and Minetta has such a pure heart that they often butt heads over a multitude of things. This right here is where the book really won me over. Minetta is bringing out parts of Riker that he hasn't seen since he spent his days behind those pearly gates. Pieces of him he once thought were broken are beginning to heal without taking away the things that make his character who he is. Minetta's eyes are opened up to a whole world of things she never knew existed or were possible while she remains courageous and kind. The way their story plays out was full of ups and downs but so fulfilling in the end and entirely worth everything it took to get there.

Be ready for this book to bring out some emotions in you as well. It's full of dark humor and some of the wildest scenes I've ever read that had me gasping for air as I tried to reign in my laughter. It also had some super steamy spicy scenes that without a doubt will turn your insides to goo if you listen to it because of the way P.J. gets into character and delivers Riker's naughty words... that should be illegal! I can practically feel my insides melting just thinking about it lol.
What I wasn't prepared for however was the tears. I cried several times in varying degrees of sobbing. Sometimes a moment just got me in my feelings and for others my heart was completely crushed. At one point I'm certain I stopped breathing and just sat against a wall letting it all out because there was no continuing on until I had processed what I read and there were no more tears left to cry. At least for the next couple of hours anyways cause Brooklyn got me again before it was all said and done lol.

But even with all of the tears, this has to be one of the most entertaining books I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. At the moment it is sitting pretty at the top of my list for book of the year and it is going to be hard for a book to make me feel everything this one did and then some in order to beat it. It is dark and it is twisted at times, but you have to remember we are dealing with Hell, demons, and fallen angels here. Literal sin in the flesh. It would be a waste of time to go into this book expecting any different. With that said though still make sure to check the content warnings provided by the author before reading or listening.

I don't know how to start this review 🤔 pnr is not my thing, fair do's to those who do like it, each to their own and all that caper, BUT I'm a big fan of Brooklyn's so I give in and here we are - and I am kinda peeved at myself, why did I not read it sooner?!

It was so good!!

Riker is one mighty mighty fine dude and he owns his Greed, when he wants something, he'll make sure he has it, end off. Doesn't matter what, greed always wins

{AND I'll never see Wednesday's the same way again 😳}

Anyway, then he meets Minetta. She's a good soul, a bit of a doormat and I wanted to scream at her BUT she comes good and soon learns she's stronger than what she thinks - I love that girl!

Minny soon finds herself in danger, serious life and d3ath danger and she hasn't a clue why!

Cue the unbelievable answers, the mystery, the disbelief as well as lots of heat and passion.

A really good read that I definitely recommend - even if pnr ain't your thing!!
