What do you get when you ask a gorgeous doctor to be your daughter’s nanny?

You get told you’re a fool.

Luca Coresetti never failed at anything. This New York based Tech Tycoon made his first billion by the age of twenty-three and never looked back. Years later, he’s left with an alcoholic ex-wife and a teenager who hates him. A jaded man with no hope of true love, Luca’s only goal is to help his daughter, but then a sexy Italian walks into his life.

Dr. Bella Ricci had no reason to agree to Luca’s proposal. A teenage girl didn’t need a nanny, she needed a role model. But Luca was maddeningly irresistible, and Jenny was everything she dreamed a daughter could be. When they worked their way into Bella’s heart, it was hard to say no.

Now, when faced with an inevitable struggle, Bella has two choices: let the handsome man with a complicated past help her, or move forward on her own without the two people who have become her world.

Will Bella and Luca survive the fight to true love?

Bella is a midwife who has a lot of patients at the headquarters of Calvino security.
After working there one day she spots Jenny, a teenage girl sitting on her own outside the building. Being a homeless kid in her past, Bella feels the need to keep her company and that’s when she meets her father
Luca Corsetti.
Luca is enamoured by the feisty midwife and stunned that his daughter was talking to her, when she hasn’t spoken to anyone for months. Ever since he removed her from his alcoholic ex wife’s influence.
He offers Bella a job which she turns down, but agrees to meet up with Jenny and talk to her. They come up with an agreement to meet up about once a week as friends starting that day, with a trip to the mall and lunch out. The following week it’s a girls night with chick flicks and ice cream. They text regularly and Luca sees the positive changes in Jenny almost immediately.
Jenny can see that her dad is attracted to Bella and vice versa so she does a little bit of match making and they finally agree to take tentative steps. Luca is a pleasure dominant and he instinctively knows that Bella would enjoy his sexual preferences. As their relationship moves forward , the sexual chemistry between the two of them is palpable.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. The rapport between Bella and Jenny is adorable and Luca’s frustrations entertaining. Loved it

I am voluntarily leaving this review. This was a well written story filled with laughter, love, drama, and steaminess. Although it isn’t written in first person POV, it was easy to follow and will have you hooked from page one!

Bella had a hard life growing up but that didn’t stop her from following her dreams. She never expected family and kids. That all changed when she met a lonely looking teenager on a sidewalk then met the teenager’s father. Luca had everything he thought he wanted, a great job and a teenager he loved more than life. With his history of marriage he never expected or wanted to find love again. That was until he walked up on a beautiful lady stranger sitting with his teenager.

I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one to come out! I would definitely recommend this book.

Luca needs help with his daughter and asks Dr Bella to be her nanny. She thinks he is crazy.
Dramatic but full of sarcasm and witty vibes, this was a great story. I loved Bella, she was so cool and confident yet feeling and emotional. I loved how she thought he was crazy to even ask her, but then again she was very tempted because she was tempted by him also.
Well written with great characters and valuable dialogue I really enjoyed this book.
This was an ARC and this is my honest review.

A beautiful love

This book had me feeling all kinds of things. Luca is a very strong man who has a beautiful daughter. Bella is a great role model for Jenny and her feelings for Luca is beautiful. I love how they lean on one another for support and love. It's a beautiful love story!

This book was written so well I preordered the second book in the series. I was really caught up in the believable plot. The lead female was strong and it was so nice to see that she had her own expectations and simple did not give in to a hot looking guy. Looking forward to reading more from this author

Sweet read

Very sweet read. Glad I took a chance on this book. Characters are relatable, and the plot is good. Only wish of more back history on the ex wife.

Another Smash!!

Nikki Rome nailed Luca Corsetti. Moody and dominant. Bella Ricci self assured and independent.

Just enough spice and everything nice.

Mix in spunky daughter Jenny and you have a heartwarming tale of a man who loves his daughter so much he will do whatever it takes for her to start speaking again.

When he sees her interact with Bella on a sidewalk he knows he has to have this woman in his life.

Forever…..

Predictable, needs proofreading

This isn't a badly written story, but it's not great either. It reads as though it were written by someone very young with little life experience and an aversion to research. The author needs to better learn show vs. tell and that the first person singular pronoun used as the object of a verb or preposition is "me," not "I." The plot contains no surprises and hysterectomies these days don't require weeks of in-bed recovery. The author should do her research and use a professional proofreader, if not a professional editor.

3.75stars—LUCA is the first instalment in Nikki Rome’s contemporary, adult CORSETTI EMPIRE erotic, romance series -a spin off from the author’s DARK KINGS series, and a cross over with the Heroes of Calvino Security series. This is midwife Dr. Bella Ricci, and Tech Tycoon/single father Luca Corsetti’s story line. LUCA can be read as a stand alone, you do not have to have read the other interconnected series.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Luca and Bella) LUCA follows the building romance and relationship between midwife Dr. Bella Ricci, and Tech Tycoon/single father Luca Corsetti. Luca is a single father to Jenny, a young teenage girl who is struggling with the upheaval in her life. Her mother is an alcoholic, and the subsequent divorce has upended Jenny’s world but meeting Bella Ricci while waiting for her father to finish his work gives Jenny pause for the future. Luca Corsetti is caught off-guard when his young brooding, troubled and oft-silent daughter is talking animatedly to a beautiful stranger. Desperate to connect and help his daughter, Luca makes Bella an offer she cannot refuse but Bella has a secret, and her time with Luca and Jenny may come to an end when Bella reveals she is going to need time for herself. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bella and Luca, and the potential fall out when Luca’s past come looking for a second chance.

The relationship between Luca and Bella is one of immediate attraction but Luca struggles to connect with his embittered daughter. Jenny is immediately smitten with the stranger who takes time out of her schedule to help Jenny adjust, smitten enough to set into motion a plan to help her father fall in love. Luca’s is quick to realize that Bella just might be his happily ever after but Bella finds herself reluctant to commit to anything beyond the present. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate with some scenes of light bondage-Luca calls himself a ‘pleasure dominant’

The secondary and supporting characters include Christy and Jason Calvano (Heroes of Calvino Security series); Luca’s brother Micah Corsetti; his daughter Jenny, and Jenny’s mother Susan. Micah’s story line is next.

LUCA is a story of family and friendships, desperation and acceptance, relationships and love. The premise is captivating and engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic and charismatic.

Luca was a broken man. He married his high school sweetheart, had a child and started his multimillion business. After a divorce and his teenage daughter refusing to talk to him he was at his wits end. Bella saw a teenage girl (Jenny) sitting on a curb at night in NYC. She sat down next to her as she waited for her ride. Luca was amazed at how Jenny talked about Bella because she basically stopped talking to anyone since moving in with her dad. Luca asked Bella to help with Jenny. Luca never wanted love. Bella always looked out for herself. Will they learn to take care of each other?
I really like this book. I just wish that there was more details in some aspects of the book and out have loved an epilogue to see where they are now. (This is book 1 so the epilogue may be in Book 3).

Luca Corsetti

This is book 1 in The Corsetti Empire Series and it's a steamy billionaire nanny story. Luca Corsetti is a tech billionaire who has an ex wife who's an alcoholic and Jenny, a teenage daughter who rarely speaks.

Dr Bella Ricci see's Jenny alone and approaches her and when Luca sees them together he is shocked to see Jenny openly talking to Bella. This leads to Luca asking Bella to spend more time with Jenny while the two of them fight their attraction to each other.

This is a great start to the series and I have just purchased the next two in the series. It's well written, the chemistry was there and it was a beautiful love story between two people who never thought they would find the one.

I read this books after reading book two! ( Which is so good, I recommend that one too). Reading it out of order did not take away from my enjoyment.

This is such a lovely story, well written and easy to get through. Dr Bella connects with Jenny, a teenager who she meets by chance. Jenny is the daughter of Luca, who needs help with his daughter, due to the connection Jenny and Bella share, he asks her for help. It doesn't hurt that he is also attracted to her.

Great banter between Luca and Bella, instant connection but not insta-love vibes. Emotional without being overwhelming, well worth a read.

Bella first meets Jenny, who has just left her drunk mom and now lives with her dad, but will not talk to anyone. Dr. Bella gets her to open up and her dad asks Bella to work with her some more. A relationship soon develops between Luca and Bella, with Jenny pushing for it to happen. Loved the characters, the backstories, trauma, drama, secrets and surprises that keep the pages turning. The emotions and feelings brought out and the banter hooks you into the story as the characters grow and adapt to become greater together. The ending fit so well.

When Luca married his college sweetheart, he thought that his life was complete, but he grew up and she didn't and as a result caused him nothing but grief. The only good thing from his marriage to her was his daughter and when they divorced it caused a rift between him and his daughter. Now that she is living with him there is a lack of communication and nothing but fighting between them. it changes when Bella stops one night and talks to the girl. It gives Luca an opening with his daughter and the beginning of a new path with Bella. Will their path lead them to a happily ever after? This story kept me glued to the pages to see how their journey ends!

Luca and Bella took me on an intriguing journey in this book. It was filled with grit and determination, compassion, angst, turmoil and so much more. I really enjoyed this beginning of a new series and the characters. Great plot line held my attention. I'm off to read the second book in the series, Micah.

I loved this book soooo much. Beginning plot was a little unrealistic and rushed but are we reallllly reading books for the realism?
Tropes are nanny/employer, close proximity, slight BDSM, HEA, medical health issues
Hus daughter needed a mentor and he needed no one. But strange how she got a best friend and so did he, and possibly true love?

Luca & Bella

Sweet is the word I would describe this book to be.

I am not usually into sweet, as I prefer darker, more erotic romance so I didn't think this should have included trigger warnings. It is pretty mild in that area.

Luca and Bella are adorable and I just loved Jenny (Lucas' daughter).

I don’t know how you can tie a BRCA storyline into a spicy book and joke about an insanely personal, emotional surgery like a double mastectomy… “I hope you like implants.” Everything else… unrealistic, tons of mistakes that somehow made it past editing. Forced myself to finish and wish I’d DNFd after the BRCA jokes.

This is genuinely terrible. It reads like it was written by a teenager. It’s riddled with grammatical errors, the characters lack depth, there’s no real storyline, and the sex scenes are not even remotely steamy. The main character has multiple orgasms lined up that require nothing sexy to happen for her to fire them off. It was a painful read.

Second chance

One should never say never! Luca was never going to get married again, that's happening. Bella WA never going to have children, she got a surly teenager. It all worked out for the three of them.

Ok. The beginning was tedious to get through but it picked up. Loved how easily Bella meshed not only with Luca but Jenny too, sowing the seeds of what family is based on; what she wanted but initially didn't realize she had. Lived watching them ALL blossom.
