Fresh out of college and officially a PI, Selena has her first official case for her own firm, Bailey Investigations. A young woman is clinging to life after partaking in an experimental weight loss regimen, her family has hired her to find out what’s going on at the clinic. As Selena goes undercover, she’s learned a lot more than she bargained for resulting in putting her own life at risk.
Flawless is a suspenseful thriller filled with some interesting twists and turns. The story is told via the POV of Selena and Stephanie (past tense). The author handles the sensitive subject matter respectfully. It was neat to see the undercover investigation but, Selena’s impulsiveness is just too much for me at this point.

Selena Bailey is a private investigator who just branched out on her own. Her new case had her looking into diet pills and the providers. I liked that the author explained how and why Samantha came to be unsatisfied with her body image. Christie also gave statistics about different weight problems that made me think. Nobody is perfect and we all want to change something about our bodies. It is when we get so absorbed in it that things get dangerous as they did for Samantha. People unknowingly make us realize that we are not perfect. A comment about our weight, a joke about being too thin, and other comments that can set some people on a dangerous path to find that perfection. This book made an important statement about society and made an impact on me. I would highly recommend this thought provoking story with a strong female lead who is not afraid to dive in. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Selena's search for the perfect body through weight loss drugs almost results in her death and her sister engages Selena to investigate the clinic where she obtained the drugs almost resulting in Selena's death at the hands of the gang producing and distributing them. Luckily Selena is working with DEA and FBI agents and her step mother Martina who step in at the last minute to rescue her. Happy ending when she gives up her dangerous solo career to go back to Martina's more secure agency with a regular pay check and better facilities

Loved this addition to the Selena Bailey series. Dynamic characters both regulars and those making a one time appearance. The storyline was exciting with plenty of action. The mystery (using the term loosely) is well written.
Selena is undercover trying to uncover the underhand practices of a weight loss clinic. It's a good thing she has plenty of backup. She's going to need it!

This private investigator book features Selena Bailey. She is young and has just started her own PI business and got her first case. For the case, Selena goes undercover to a weight loss clinic, where her client had received some “vitamins” to help weight loss and ended up in hospital fighting for her life. Selena gets in over her head….. I really enjoyed how the story played out to the conclusion.

3 stars because…
The story was cleanly written until one word, and only once, I ask why bother?
With the main character we were told at length all her thoughts and feelings about everything and everyone, well almost. This got annoying.
It was a good story, but felt unrealistic, it’s one of ‘those’ stories where the main character always and I do mean always gets into trouble, kidnapping,enough to be threatened with immediate death, so boring in a series.

Selena now has her own PI office, and her first interesting case. People are hospitalized and dying after going to a weight loss clinic. Selena goes under cover. Not only does this book provide a fast paced thriller, it illuminates how problems with body image start at an early age and become deep seated over time.

Another great book
I have followed Bailey's books. Never a,dull moment. I will be checking for more. This is a thrilling story and I recommend this book and enjoyed the interaction between all the people involved. A good idea of what can possibly happen in real life if not careful.

This was an ok story, not, I can’t put it down. It brought to light the struggles big people deal with in losing weight. A private investigator, Selena is pretty sharp in her discoveries once she gets on the case. Overall I enjoyed it . 4

Tough subject
The main story line was so "real life". I am absolutely positive it rang true for just about every one who read this. It rang so true. Now as for the rest of the story needs just a little more sophistication, but that should come in time.

Another story that will keep you intrigued until the end. PI Selena finally owns her own business. Lots of suspense, intrigue and fast paced until the end.

OK Book
Kind of dull for me. Pace moved along nicely, characters were OK. The book just didn't do much for me. If there's a sequel, I doubt I'll read it.

No body is perfect and the way society see women leaves a lot to. Be desired. Very strong female characters. Highly recommended.

Selena goes undercover at a weight loss clinic. A girl may not live because of pills she was given, others had died. Her life is threaten. Great series!!

Selena Bailey sets up her PI business and gets her first case, a weight loss clinic's customers are dying, missing and developing heart problems. Selena goes undercover to the clinic, to find out first-hand what is going on. Well written, fast paced and good character development. I hadn't read any previous books in the series but can say this was a standalone story. I received this novel from an author promotion, and this is my review.
