She mistakes Duke Montana for the new hire on the food truck, and there is a definite spark of forbidden love.
Duke Montana, an ex-CEO turned townie, is all for putting his past behind him. After one of the worst days of his life, he packed up his New York condo five years ago and found a home in Cinnamon Bay. The people are friendly, just nosey enough to care about their neighbors. Just the thing that made Duke feel as if he was home. His world is turned upside down when he meets the feisty Jewel that is as bossy as she is pretty. So much so that he finds himself being talked into a job he doesn’t need on a food truck. But he’s not complaining. Every day tends to be a bit brighter when Jewel is around.

Adorable!
Loved the story line. This book pulled me right in, through the ups and downs, straight to the happily ever after.

Good addition to Cinnamon Bay!
Jewel, A very hard working auction house accountant, races to her grandmother's side in CinBay when her grandmother is injured and needs help with her soup business, Care Package. Duke, an ex CEO from NY, has now found his home in CinBay and perhaps his heart in Jewel.
This is my first book from Lexi Miles, but I've read all the previous books in the Cinnamon Bay world and think Care Package is a good addition. Her characters are extremely likable and her descriptions of their intimate times range from beautifully sensual to hot and quick without being too explicit. She also does a good job of weaving in the "Meddlesome Trio" and their matchmaking history. All in all a good story but could use another round of proofreading!

An interesting story line with likeable characters plus the usual couple of "not so nice' ones to add to the story. The story is a good fit for Cinnamon Bay though it could have possibly benefited from another round of editing and perhaps a little less giggling which doesn't seem to fit with the age of the main characters.

Jewel one day was not happy with anything. She wasn't happy with her bf or the promotion with her job. One day having an excuse to visit gram she left town without telling anyone. Moving to cinnamon Bay taught her a lot. But she was not expecting love
