About the author

USA Today Bestselling Author Persephone Autumn lives in Florida with her wife, crazy dog, and two lover-boy cats. A proud mom with a cuckoo grandpup. An ethnic food enthusiast who has fun discovering ways to veganize her favorite non-vegan foods. If given the opportunity, she would intentionally get lost in nature.

For years, Persephone did some form of writing; mostly journaling or poetry. After pairing her poetry with images and posting them online, she began the journey of writing her first novel.

This is the first book by this author and it made me smolder!

This story has all the hallmarks of a good romantic thriller, it's got the heat, the heart, mystery and thrilling action!

This is the story of Sarah and Jackson. 

Sarah is boho chic! She is happy with her world of friends. She thinks her world is fulfilled and then she meets Jackson and realizes that her soul is calling out to him. When her world starts to crumble and she feels vulnerable and scared she relies on both her best friends and Jackson to help her through.

Jackson is a true swoony hero, he is what every alpha should be.  He is there when Sarah needs him and knows when to step back and let her shine on her own.

This story has a mystery that kept me guessing until the very end!  The hints and innuendos that Ms. Autumn relayed throughout the story had me thinking it's this character or nope, no, it's this character! So, so good!

I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!!

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I didn't know what to expect. This storyline is just as this title suggests it really was Distorted Devotion and it was brilliant to read.


Sarah is a really nice, fun person who doesn't take things to seriously, or does she ?
Jackson is a very sexy, gorgeous looking man real eye candy, with a funny side to him, when one day he meets Sarah and it changes both their lives forever. They have such a strong connection between them both and they are great together. There is one major problem, Jackson isn't the only person obsessed with Sarah. A demon invaded there lives and wouldn't leave.
When one day everything changes and life becomes very scary and fearful. Sarah starts to receive notes , emails, and crazy scary letters from an unknown creep - ster, and that is what he is.
( NO SPOILERS ).


I absolutley loved these characters and the author has written them both great. Jackson is such a wonderful, genuine sweet caring guy and how he was with Sarah was beautiful to see. They both have a awesome connection sexually and emotionally. This is definitely holds your attention throughout and I couldn't put it down, some parts were real nail biting moments. There are some twists that you won't see coming to.

I will definitely recommend this book to everyone when it gets released.

Very well written book by Persephone Autumn, hard to put down. Romance cocktail with a shot of suspense.

Sarah a beautiful single woman who loves to have fun with her friends. Sarah runs into Jackson at her apartment briefly but fate puts them in each other's path again when Sarah and her friends host a party.
Jackson notices a man hanging close by Sarah at the party, Sarah hasn't noticed him.

Sarah has an extremely close relationship with one of her girlfriends, but Sarah and Jackson start seeing each other exclusively.

Sarah starts getting weird messages and flowers from someone watching her.
Sarah is scared and Jackson is with her every step of the way, as are her friends when they find out. Will Sarah and Jackson figure out who the creep is that that's sending her threatening messages? Will this drama end up being too much for a budding relationship?

While Jackson's unspoken devotion is shown in his action, there is another unknown element also fascinated with Sarah. This individual has a distorted devotion which if successful could ruin everything.

This page-turner will have you swooning with sweet romantic moments one chapter and holding your kindle tight when the tensions build the next.
Persephone builds a wonderfully layered world, with many characters worthy of books of their own - hint, hint. Distorted Devotion is book one in a new series. I'm not sure what's next but I vote for a Liz novel.

Sarah and Jackson have a simply beautiful story that does have some heartache in it. They are put through scary life changing events when their relationship is still new. But they prove that true love can conquer anything. Jackson is not only a sweet guy but he shows up when he is needed for his friends and family. The type of guy that everyone likes. Sarah is a fun woman who everyone easily likes, which unfortunately can be a problem. I enjoy stories like this, that show how much real life bad stuff a couple can go through but can still overcome it all! Definitely recommend. Alittle on the steamy side but definitely a great story!!

I’m sorry, I was looking for a thriller. Everything was so obvious. The mc seemed smart at first but her last made it so obvious she’s not. The story seems like a presentation that stops right after it ends. No research and details. Example, how was he doing seeing them all the time? How did the stalker knew all their moves? What made him do what he did especially when the stalking seems to have been going on for “eight hundred and forty-six days” what is the real trigger for him to start showing his existence. How can no one notice an overweight dude? Jackson said he saw him shadowing her but can’t specify that it was an overweight dude? I actually finished this book with a lot of questions.

Orrrrrrr…. Maybe I was wrong that this isn’t a thriller but more of an erotica? If it is, I swear booktok really need to start recommending books with spice ratings so people know what to expect more. The plot or spice.
