Poland, 1944. A secret Nazi experiment in the Wieliczka salt mine of Breslau goes wrong, annihilating the entire research team.
Decades later, at the foothills of Dhauladhar ranges, the immortal warrior Kripacharya is brutally attacked by a mysterious beast and goes missing. His peer Vyasa, the old sage, tasks Parashuram to find and bring their fellow immortal back.
As Parashuram adjusts himself to this new world and uncovers the plot, he crosses path with an old nemesis, one who not only matches him in power and intellect, but also in ferocity. Ashwatthama.
Parashuram has to race against time, and Ashwatthama, to unravel the conspiracy behind Kripacharya’s disappearance to protect not just their identities, but also something much larger at stake, something which has the potential to change history forever.
✳️Do you like superheroes? Who is your favorite superhero? Are you a fan of DC or Marvel? I enjoyed watching DC animations as a kid. But the movies, MCU is the best. Iron Man is my favorite superhero. Anyway, are you familiar with Indian mythology? According to the Indian mythology, some people have been cursed/ blessed in order to become an immortal. These people are believed to be still alive. Indian Author Gunjan Porwal has created a masterpiece by bringing together these immortals and transforming them into superheroes. Like Avengers, these people are called The Immortal Force.✳️
✳️Vyasa, Parashuram, Ashwatthama, Mahabali, Kripacharya, Markandeya and Vibishan are the members of The Immortal Force. It was Vyasa's idea to assemble all the immortals under one group. But like every group there are issues amongst them. Except Ashwatthama, all the others got immortality as a blessing from divine powers. Ashwatthama still considers Parashuram to be a cause of his damnation. ( Reason because of a event in Mahabaratha. Don't worry, this is explained briefly in the book).✳️
[ No quotes - Its Sci Fi - So spoilers ]
✳️This is basically a Supehero/ Sci-Fi/ Mythological action thriller that will hook us to the book from the very start. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy these genres. We will never get bored while reading this book. But there are certain scientific sections that explain quantum physics and time travel concepts. Even immortality is clarified in a scientific basis. The author has explained it brilliantly in such a way that we will not be bored and we will be highly intrigued to learn more about the scientific concepts. He even explained what happened in Avengers Endgame. So that was fun.✳️
✳️Apart from The Immortal Force, there are also other main characters in this story. Dr Raghav, the scientist who discovered how to stabilize the wormhole, his students Jai and Saira, Megha Lonkar - Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Nazis. We can see all the important Indian establishments here. Most of us are aware of NASA, Interpol and various other organizations. But I don't think people are familiar with DRDO, RAW and all. May be a little. So this book is kind of informative in that way too. While reading this story, It will be a bit difficult for us to separate fiction from reality. So in the last sections, we can see what's real and what's not. The author is a brilliant and highly knowledgeable person. This is very easy to read and the language is pretty straightforward and lucid. And this book is really special. ✳️
The Immortal Force delivers exactly the high-stakes mythological mashup it promises. The core storyline is truly great and persuasive, weaving together two of the Mahabharata's most complex figures into a modern, compelling narrative.
The world-building around their conflict is tight, keeping the pace relentless and the stakes feeling genuinely universal. However, where the book stumbles significantly is in its handling of Vibhishan. His characterization felt thin and the integration of his personal story into the main conflict was poorly built, lacking the depth and conviction given to the titular characters. It was a noticeable flaw in an otherwise fantastic piece of speculative mythology.
Despite this misstep, the sheer force and quality of the main confrontation make this a highly recommended read for fans of modern historical fiction.
Qotd : 💭Have you imagined how would be the life of Historical/ancient characters in this contemporary (modern era)? Everyone would have imagined. Guess , I'm not wrong.
𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑮𝒊𝒔𝒕 :
🔖Not limiting with weaving imagination of historical characters life in modern era, the author's idea is centred with characters who were immortals from Hindu mythology.
🔖Immortal is either a boon or curse for those 7 legendaries (Ashwathama, Parasuram, Vyasa, Kripacharya, Bali, Vibishan, Markandeya) yet monotonous life in every centuries they passed with no meaning created a void in them.
🔖In contemporary world, Technology is the biggest boon as well as curse. Competitions, crimes, success, decline, threat, Safety - everything is based on Technologies and scientific discoveries. So real race among nations is to top scientific achievements.
🔖On among those race of achieving the impossible in technology, the 7 legendaries were trapped by mortal scientists. What's the motto behind the trap, who is the lead of plan, How immortal were trapped and escaped is the theme of this story.
𝑴𝒚 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔:
I'm completely taken by the author's creative mind. I can feel the adventures of the plot so vivid. It was a fluid plot and the logic behind everything were correlated perfectly. I read this book for 2 months not bcoz it's vague but my hectic schedule. It's a page turner i will say, also even prolonged reading didn't felt slump instead compelling till end.
𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔
❤️Highly to those science fiction bookgeeks, Adventure lovers.,
🔸For those who look for logical plots.
✂️𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒑 : If you are not dear to science fictions as it would a vague reading for you.
Brilliant! I always loved a good Science Fiction with a twist of Mythology. The Characters are mostly from the Great Indian Epics, especially those revolve around the Eight Chiranjeevis(Immortals) as per the Hindu Puranas. How they cope with the 21st century and thwart the impending threats to mankind.
The story is very very interesting. It was unputdownable! And it made sense too. I loved reading it. One thing I loved about the characters was how they embraced the new age technologies and how they interacted with them, the new age modernizations.
This is the 3rd book in the series and can pretty much be read as a standalone although I wish I had read the previous books before this one.
The author is an IIT Kanpur alumni.
Ashwatthama Redemption Series. Book 3. Ashwatthama v/s Parashuram- the immortal force.
Do checkout the blurb for a brief up! Also the book has a MAP! It's a huge thick book in the sense that it has around 450 pages! It is based on some amazing mythological stories but the creative imagination is pure fiction in the book. I was glued to the book just after I finished reading the author's note.
There is a thin line between science & fantasy. Maybe was we put under fantasy today, may become real with the help of science in the future, who knows!
Imagine teleportation, telekinesis & even immortality 😮
I got to know through this book that the only immortal species living today is Turritopsis Dohrnii, the Immortal Jellyfish.
According to Indian mythology, there are 8 immortal beings livings amongst us, even today- Ashwatthama, Bali, Veda Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishan, Kripacharya, Parashuram, Sage Markandeya.
This book weaves a tale between all the 7 immortals except Hanuman ji.
The book begins with a brief introduction of these immortals. I liked the simple, slow but steady pace of this read & how the author has left no stone unturned to fully engage the senses of the reader with a perfect, descriptive narration.
We move forward to a prologue in the year 1944 & then the book begins in the present day. It begins with a failed experiment & ends on a totally unexpected note. In the end the author has given a section separating fact from fiction. Also diagrams, changing timelines add to the book.
The book is a gem for a mythofiction fan.
📍Blurb:
"Gripping, edge-of-the-seat action thriller!" INDIA TODAY
Poland, 1944. A secret Nazi experiment in the Wieliczka salt mine of Breslau goes wrong, annihilating the entire research team.

Aswatthama vs. Parashuram is mythological fiction. I would say that the characters are taken from Hindu Mythology, but it's not proper mythological fiction, it's a kind of sci-fi. As we know that according to our Hindu Mythology there are 8 people who have been given the boon or curse of immortality, and according to the legends they're still among us. So now, I hope you understand the context of the plot that how it is mythological fiction yet sci-fi. The plot starts with the Nazi's scientific-technological device which created havoc and changed everything, it destructed the whole research team as something has gone wrong with the device. So now you can imagine that a little bit of error in the device the whole research as give up on their life and if it would have been successful then what would have happened in the world. How much destruction that device would have created. Further, in the story, we came to know about the Kripacharay, one of the immortals who was kidnapped and for what reasons, no one was knowing. The immortal came together to solve the riddle of the Kripachary's kidnapping and the relation between the Nazi's scientific device and the kidnapping. Now to know what happened further in the story, you have to grab the book. The language is easy and the narration style is interesting. It will keep you hooked throughout the story.

| PERSONAL INSIGHT | - 🌸 The Plot is an Intriguing in Itself. But the way The Author has written and Presented Varied Scenes, that has made the Story a Bit More Engaging and Fun to be Read.
An amazing sci-fi thriller with Hindu mythology touch.
Immortals and Mortals living together. This is what is happening in the story where our Hindu mythology immortals are still on their journey of immortality i.e being present in the Kaliyuga disguised as normal human beings. At the same time, some scientists are working on the theory of wormholes and possibility of time travel. Aim of which is to alter history to wipe off Lord Rama's name from the history so that religious beliefs could be eliminated from the world.
As the name suggests, Ashwatthama vs Parshuram, implies an impending war between the two. As Ashwathama's name gets involved with the time travel conspiracy to get back in time and get relieved of his curse given to him by Krishna.
A lot of unbelievable unexpected turns took place throughout the story, that kept me hooked with the book.
The story is very intelligently connected which makes it interesting for the readers at every point. The plot and the story line seemed just perfect.
'Ashwatthama vs Parashuram: The Immortal Force' by Gunjan Porwal is a science fiction with mythological characters. The author has introduced us to the mythological characters such as Vyasa, Parashuram, Mahabali, Kripacharya and few others in the beginning of the story. Many details from the real history like time travelling, teleporting, Einstein’s Rosen bridge, Warm holes, Wunderwaffe, Quantum science, Combat 18-a germen psewdo-terroist org., German nuclear programmes etc. The language of the book is quite simple. And it is very clear that the author has done a lot of research before writing this book which makes it even more interesting. This is a perfectly written book with all the immortal characters. The narration is very good and gripping without any flaws. It is an engaging and fast paced read which is very difficult to put it down. Honestly, I grabbed this book because lately I am so into mythological fictions but turned out to be science fiction (got totally confused because of the title of the book), and I enjoyed every single moment reading this book.
Ashwatthama vs Parshuram: The Immortal Force by Gunjan Porwal Opens up new space with old mythical characters. I was looking forward to reading this book and it was a blast reading this beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book, and wouldn't change a thing. Gunjan Porwal has brought forward something refreshing and highly addictive story which I immensely enjoyed. The whole concept of Ashwatthama's quest to find the immortal warrior Kripacharya and his enemity with Parashuram combined with uniquely crafted sci-fi elements had me reeling.
Beautifully written, the flow of this book is so smooth and easy that it is unputdownable. The narration is fluid and grows on you. The author has done a splendid job at weaving the epic tales to create a grand canvas packed with action.
It's one of the most distinctively narrated books I have read recently and certainly one worth adding to your reading collection.
Gunjan Porwal brings Indian superheroes to life connecting mythological stories to our current life. If you're not someone who's not well versed with Indian mythology like me, Mahabharata and all, the author has given all the information you need to relate to the story. Vyasa, Parashuram, Ashwatthama, Mahabali, Kripacharya, Markandeya and Vibishan are the members of The Immortal Force. These are people who have received immortality as a blessing except for Ashwatthama and he still considers Parashuram to be a reason for his damnation.
The book is like a Sci-Fi/ Mythological action suspense, that will hook you from the start. I definitely recommend this book if you enjoy these genres. There are also quantum physics and time travel concepts that the author explained beautifully and intriguing way.
A scintillating read...amazed by the writing flow of the book..won't cease to amaze you on each and every page.
A mythological sci fiction based on the immortals of Sanatana Dharma(hinduism philosophy) and their engagement with the present world where they try to co exist in this new world of science and immorality everywhere whereas in their original era they used to live in a world of nature and morals. It's a great story...pick it right away!
"The one who forgives even the wicked is Shri Ram. The one who punishes the wicked appropriately is Parashurama"
As the name suggests, Parshuram and Ashwathama are the protagonists of this amazing tale.
Parshuram was the son of Jamadagni and Renuka. He received an axe from Lord Shiva after undertaking terrible reparation. Lord Shiva had also taught his methods of warfare and other skills. He carried several Khatriya traits, which included aggression, warfare, and valour.
Ashwathama, also known as Drauni is the son of Dronacharya and Kripi (sister of Kripacharya). He along with his father fought in the Kurukshetra war in Mahabharata from the Kauravas side against the Pandavas. He is also believed to be the living survivor of the Kurukshetra war along with his maternal uncle, Kripa.
The immortal warrior Kripacharya is brutally attacked by a mysterious beast and goes missing. This event leads to a war between two legends - Parshuram V/S Ashwathma.
"The wheels of karma are in effect, everywhere. They follow one through the ages, not resting before the debts of past births are paid off"
Gunjan Porwal is the author of the bestselling 'Ashwatthama's Redemption' series. His debut book 'Ashwatthama's Redemption: The Rise of Dandak' was published in 2018 and received good reviews. His second book 'Ashwatthama's Redemption: The Bow of Rama' still ranks highly on the bestseller list.
Coming back to the story: Amazing tale with twists and turns, Characters are well established by the author, Loved the storyline and book cover also! Page turner!!
There are few authors who become like a subscription for you. Every time they come with a new book, it lands up with you even before you realize it and you finish reading it with the same speed. One such author for me is Gunjan Porwal. I have read both his previous works and absolutely liked the Ashwatthama’s Redemption series and rated both the work 4.5 out of 5. This made me pick up his latest release named “Ashwatthama vs Parashuram: The Immortal Force”. First thing first, the title and the cover page of the book is enough for you to give it a chance and you just can’t stop yourself from tempting to have this book in your shelf. The book is published by the author himself in around 450+ pages. Kudos to Gunjan for investing in his own stories and making it reach people so that Indians can learn a little bit about the ancient figures and tales.
The book majorly speaks about the Immortals mentioned in our religious and ancient texts. These immortals achieved this feat either through some blessing or curse which has kept them alive up till the era of Kalyug. They are now trying to hide their identity from the modern world and waiting for the Kalyug to end so that they can finally relax from living an immortal life which is finally becoming a pain for them. All of a sudden, Kripacharya, one of the immortals disappears, and all the other immortals get alarmed about someone knowing about them and their identity. They start thinking it’s Ashwatthama behind this as he must be trying to end his immortality as he got it as a curse. Parashuram takes it as a personal task to find him and stop him from doing whatever he is trying to do. This takes us to the path where we get to know about the WW2 era and meet Adolf Hitler – we are introduced with scientific elements – we are told about the efforts made to travel in past and the complexity involved in time-traveling – historical elements where we get to the Ramayan era too – and what not.
Even though the book is 450 pages thick but the way author narrates it doesn’t take much time for you to complete it – I could read 300 pages in just one go and then another 150 in the 2nd sitting. Even though the book consists of some tough concepts but the way author assures that he writes them in a simple manner does make it easy for the readers to navigate through the book. I liked how author gives a brief about all the immortals and how they got the boon or bane of immortality before starting the book. It just makes you curious to know about what the story is going to do with all of them in our current era. Though I would like to warn you that the book is not a mythological fiction but sci-fi hence don’t expect to know about the characters’ mythological tales. The story is completely fictional and the characters are described as just another human being in this era.
Gunjan’s research and hard-work behind creating the basis of the story is very much evident from the kind of concepts and periodical shift author keeps making throughout the story. It’s a great experience to see the story being connected right from WW2’s Hitler’s time till the current date and even going as back as Ramayan-era. Gunjan does all of this where every chapter is a scene going on in a particular era at a specific location. Even when the timeline keeps shifting and new characters are kept getting introduced, you don’t feel jumbled up just because the way author has managed to tell the story.
Author’s explanation of science and time-traveling concepts such as wormhole, quantum warping, quantum physics, grandfather affect, hayflick limit, Die Glocke, tardigrades, DNA etc. is very beautifully scribbled as you don’t get bored of reading and knowing about them. It’s so interesting to go through these concepts as Porwal also uses diagrams to make it easy for us to grasp them. I appreciate how real locations and places are used to describe the story as you can relate with it and imagine the story in a better way. The action scenes in the 2nd half are nicely handled which is enough to give you adrenaline rush. The whole pre-climax is wonderfully executed where there is a lot of run-and-chase sequences. The face-off between both the main characters is an amazing section to read. I liked the twist in the end when the truth gets revealed to one of the characters who tries to alter the past. Author ends the book giving this part of the story a complete closure but with a hint of continuity to the story in his next.
Talking about the drawbacks, I must say that because of the mythological characters, I was expecting them to behave similarly but the way author has given them a complete makeover made it difficult for me to connect with them. Similarly, I was expecting the book to also talk about mythological or at least philosophical aspect but it sticks to its scientific elements only. In the end, too many dialogues are exchanged between one of the antagonists and the protagonists which makes it hard to believe that why would someone share such elaborative details with their enemy when they actually need to wipe them off. I also felt author over-describing few scenes and conversations which sounds little stretchy at times and want you to skip a sentence or two in between.
Overall, the book is a great effort from the author and it is kind-of my first where the mythological characters are utilized in a sci-fi book hence my experience of reading it was like a challenge to the reader within me to accept the story. I give this book 4.5 stars out of 5. Well, that’s a hat-trick for Gunjan with the same rating and I am so hopeful from his future works too because of his consistency. Give this one a try if you love time-traveling as a concept.

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The whole reason I picked this book in the first place was because of its cover. I mean look at it. It’s like a piece of art. I knew I need to have it in my collection whether I would read it or not. So definitely kudos to the cover artist and the way they conceptualised a good moment in the book for its cover. So yeah as I said, I went because of the cover but stayed because of the book and the plot. It is fab and on a level that at the fear of sounding prejudice wasn’t what I expected from an Indian fiction that took Hindu mythological theme as a base. I expected it to be another retelling or epic weaved age old story …but boy oh boy was I in for a surprise!
I think more than the book, I am in awe of the author because you have to have had done a damn good job of research or have that extraordinary knowledge to be able to craft such a brilliant and resourceful story. This is Dan Brown level good for me because the book is a treasure pot of so many facts and information and the way it is narrated is absolutely brilliant. These amazing information are thrown at the almost right moment and right quantity so as to not to appear preaching and lecturing. This is one fact that draws me to a Dan Brown or Steve Berry book that while you are midst of an adrenaline filled events, the author is also teaching you so much stuff. So you are learning and having fun.
So I truly am fascinated and blown away as to how much the knowledge reserve of the author himself has to be, to be able to incorporate it into a story which is even more brilliant. From quantum physics, to Mumbai skyline history to even modern weapon technology or the obvious mythological history, the book is filled with gold.
The best part is that with all these information especially something as complex and boring as quantum physics, the book manages to narrate it with such cinematic and engaging tone that you won’t even realise that you are being educated on such a complex topic. Trust me I know because I perhaps hold the record for sleeping through my classes because my brain couldn’t handle so much data and come to this book and my brain was nodding as if quantum physics is something I eat for breakfast …Good Job Brain Good Job… ( now go back to sleep..you have served well )
Anyways so coming out of my blabber, the book uses the Hindu mythology as a base. If, like me you thought the book would go around the whole dynamics of Ashwatthama and parusharam then hold my pen as the author just uses as a reference point. The book is way way way above all of it and the core plot just uses these as a crucial element and not the whole point. Ahhhhh I might be ruining it but the thing is this is not a Hindu mythological fiction but it’s an actual edge of seat thriller filled with action, blodd, bang bang, murder, chase and even bomb threat and saving the world…..oh shit did I ruin it…?
Honestly, I would probably be half boiled at the stake by Indian reading community but this book actually brought back my confidence in Indian fiction by a 100 fold… ( yeah so I will probably be by the stake, ready to be burned down by zealots for saying that )
In conclusion, I would say that this book is truly as beautiful and remarkable as its cover. The book is such an adrenaline dream with a spectacular plot and cinematic events and narration that you would literally wish to see it on big screen as it is detailed, narrated and scripted in such brilliance . Hats off to the author and his knowledge to craft such a refined, engaging and pure entertaining read. Hell I think I am now excited to see whether these immortals would return for another adventure because I am absolutely game for it if it maintains this quality and brilliance.
I would like to thank Gunjan Porwal to trust me with an honest review against a review copy I received. Also, thanks to have sent me a paper back copy which is something I would always prefer to have, to read. Thanks a lot for the wonderful book and trusting my word to review the same. The story, as it says ia bout the immortals, all of those we knew to be immortal from our epic history, except Hanuman are in the book. Though the lead characters are Ashwatthama and Parashuram. The story begins with one of the immortals Kripacharya being kidnapped by a beast, this hits the other immortals hard on their heart and minds. If someone would kidnap Kripacharya, they must have known who he was, an immortal, which means the chances of the others existence and location was at stake. Vyasa trusts Parashuram with the task to find Kripacharya and stop the unknown events for the sake of their own self and the world. Parashuram had time constraint and his own suspicions against the doing as he starts uncovering the events, one of his prime suspects being Ashwatthama, with whom he had a fight a century ago. How and where he starts, whom he encounters and what happens when the two legendary immortals come across each other. The book is in deed thrilling, the story is so well built and a page turner for sure. The ground work the author did to create the story is immense, easily understood when reading the book, I really do not know how and who helped him do so much of homework, but it sure deserves an appreciation. The book is surely not a simple read, it needs a good insight and interest in science to read and understand the book. It may be a pain for some readers though the author tries his best to detail it to the simplest form, but for someone who can relate to science this is a great read. I indeed to a very long time to read and complete the book, but I really wanted to sink it into my head and it really was a fantastic read. I would recommend any interested reader to take time and read the book. Oh not to forget the interest the author has for Ashwatthama, if I am not wrong this is his third book with Ashwatthama in a key role. I will wait to see more of his work, be it Ashwatthama or Parashuram. Thanks a lot once again and best wishes for the success of the book, waiting for your next.
Content - In the year 1944, a secret German experiment to create mass-destroying Nazi super-weapons failed in Wieliczka salt mine in Breslau, Poland. Now, in present time, in Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, a mysterious beast attacked Kripacharya, one of the Immortals, who was hiding there and he goes missing. All the other 6 Immortals are also roaming in different parts of the world in disguises. After the brutal attack, Vyasa, asked the rest of them to meet secretly and gave the task of finding Kripacharya to Parashuram. . Parashuram, after coming out of hiding after so many years, still trying to adjust to the new world but also doing everything he could to get to Kripacharya. As the mystery folds itself deeper and deeper, he has to race against time and much sinister things to stop the occurrence from happening which can change the history forever. 📖 📖 My Views - The book is a mythological sci-fi thriller and it has beautifully adjusted all the 3 genres perfectly. As we all know about Ramayana and Mahabharata, the author has picked important aspects from both the sagas and used them intelligently. Immortals, teleportation, wormholes, time-machine, quantum physics, Nazi super-weapons, nuclear weapons and many such interesting stuff he has brought up in this story to make it a super exciting and gripping read. The book from start to end is full of naill biting suspence with twists and turns. . The climax was really unexpected and nobody can even predict what will happen next throughout the whole book. . The book has a lot of physics elements especially quantum physics along with electrical and electronics stuff. The author has explained everything very easily with diagrams and pictures for the readers but if you are from these departments or interested in them, this book is surely gonna give you extra kick. . The language is overall easy. All the characters are very well written. The narration and the plot is also amazing. . Overall a very well-written, gripping story. Waiting for the next part.
Oh the Indian mythology Mahabharata has always fascinated me the most. So when I started it I was very intrigued but on edge cause I know these mythologies may or may not be fiction but they are magical which in my terms is a little different then fantasy. And the author here has tried to blend a part of this mythology with a fictional world of his own, while he has let the gist remain, he has re-written the story and the characters in his own setback which was indeed a task in itself and I must say, has been accomplished very well. He has moved these mythological characters to sci - fi world very easily . This book consists of the seven immortals out of eight that were blessed or cursed to be immortal in the mahabharat. And even if you know nothing about mahabharat, don't be worried , wherever required it has been explained by the author , he has even briefly described these immortals before the start of the story. I did not believe it would so easily blend in with science of modern world but it did. There is mention of Ramayan in the book while the scientists are trying the possibility of time travel too. I think this is the most I can say without spoiling too much. There is mention of some tough science concepts and physics, I know it would make you think that either you won't understand it or you would get bored but that wasn't the case at all because of authors vast research and explanation he was actually able to break it down so well for the readers and it must obviously have been obvious by now that he writes so well cause to understand such a complicated mix is not easy but the authors writing style makes it a piece of cake once you are hooked you won't even realise how you finished a thick book like this. There were things I am a little sceptical about but it's the first of its kind so before making a view of it a reader must first try this one themselves.
🌸Ashwatthama and Parashuram, The immortal force 🌸 Gunjan Porwal
The title of the book and beautiful cover motivated me to read this book. I was totally clueless about the content of the book. But after few pages I found the book to be very intriguing. The story starts at Breslau, Poland, September 23 ,1944 . The German scientists were conducting an experiment to develop a deadly weapon so that they could win the war. But unfortunately the experiment goes wrong and leaves whole team annihilated. Decades later after this incidence, the immortal warrior Kripacharya is attacked by a mysterious beast and goes missing .His mate , sage Vyasa assigns Parashuram thé duty to find Kripacharya and bring him back. The immortal forces join together and Parashuram has to fight against time and Ashwatthama to disclose the conspiracy hidden behind the disappearance of Kripacharya. Will Parashuram be able to find out the secret hidden behind this treacherous incident? Is there any link between the Nazi experiment and the disappearance of Kripacharya? The book left me surprised with the content . I thought it to be a mythological pick but it is a mix of mythology and science fiction. The author has chosen a very unusual concept and presented it in a very engrossing way. The best part is that even if the mythological characters are totally new to you , you don’t face any problem in connecting with them. The author has researched very well before choosing the plot . May it be about science related like quantum science or nuclear experiment or may it be about Parashuram , the author was clear about the concept and plot. The author has also given a brief description of all the mythological characters in the beginning and also made sure that the readers don’t miss anything by giving the science facts at the end. The book is a fast pace , gripping and captivating .
✓I was sceptical about reading this initially but I read it and I must say that the book DID NOT disappoint me. ✓The story has been divided into around sixty chapters. In the first few chapters, the author has written about "The Seven Immortals", including Vyasa, Mahabali, Kripacharya, etc. Well, for the people who are not aware of this, according to the Hindu scriptures, there are eight immortals who are to remain alive on Earth until the end of the current Kali Yuga. These people are known as Chiranjivis. I really appreciate the efforts of the author here. ✓The story is about how Parashurama looks into the matter of sudden disappearance of his fellow immortal warrior, Kripacharya, find him and bring him back. During his quest, he meets to yet another Ashwathama who matches his intellect and ferocity. They have to adjust with the modern world. Will Parshurama be able to save Kripacharya? Will he be able to protect their identities? What is the conspiracy behind the sudden disappearance of Kripacharya? What is Ashwathama's plan? Well, you have to read the book to know more. ✓ Being an avid reader of Indian mythology, mythological fiction and re-tellings, I've read a lot of books and I must say that penning down something like this is not an easy task. It requires a lot of effort, research, planning and creativity. I would really like to appreciate the author for this. ✓The language is lucid. The story is fast paced. The storyline is well structured, avoiding any kind of a confusion. ✓I would not recommend this to the beginners because the book is around 450 pages. However, if a beginner is fine with reading something slightly lengthy like this, go for it. ✓Highly recommended to everyone out there. This book will not disappoint you. It was definitely a page turner for me and I was hooked till the very end.

This is the third book that I have perused written by the writer and he generally astonishes me with his idea and composing. This is a legendary fiction with science fiction and seven superheroes the immortals in the Hindu religion Ashwatthama, Parashuram, Vyasa, Mahabali, kripacharya, Markandeya and Vibhushan are the individuals from the unfading power. They are living as expected individuals in kalyuga as a camouflage clearly. Around a similar time there is Dr Raghav who has found how to balance out the wormhole AND TIME TRAVEL. and his experiment might get abused and could imperil the whole history of human race or create an alternate reality or more. I m staying quiet from telling you since I vouch you will appreciate perusing the book and I don't have any desire to give you any spoilers.
The book is an exciting read. The writer has clarified everything so well along the story the logical ideas, the historical backdrop of the immortals, the movement ideas every last bit of it and guss what still never the book feels extended or exhausting. It's a made up world however the manner in which the creator has weaved around the story it seems like a genuine world. The endeavors that creator has taken and the examination that ,it's have gone through in this piece of fiction is exemplary. The language is clear very much like his prior work and the story is face paced. Despite several plots and many characters never there is any disarray. There is literally a freshness added to the mythological fiction.
I would recommend this book to all perusers since it's power stuffed book that has everything for everybody. It might look weighty yet it's absolutely worth your time and in no time you will be snared and finished with it.
Assuming you are in this genre , and you haven't perused this book yet then, at that point, you are feeling the loss of a great deal.Ashwatthama vs Parashuram:The immortal force" book is fanciful fiction composed by the writer Gunjan Porwal .This book contains 50 chapter .It has action and thriller plot which keeps you engaged till the last page of the book.It has activity and thrill ride plot which keeps you connected with till the last page of the book. The book centers around who is named, Parashuram. The book significantly talks about the Immortals referenced in our old texts.Kripacharya, one of the eight immortals disappears, so other everlasting powers including Parashuram assemble to track down him. This novel is activity stuffed, medium paced extreme emotion dream experience .The creator has introduced a very well-informed and all around made plot. The Author Has Written About an Intriguing Mythological Characters Such as Vyasa, Parashuram, Mahabali and more in a totally different and reasonable way however for certain individuals it very well may be a piece hard to associate. Bofore you read this book let me say to you that its more of a scientific with of stories handed down elements in it. Its written in such a way so that you do not not see out any characters . The integration of persons living for-ever in today's World has been with a part for gripping quite rightly. Its a quite over long book so i suggest you to take your time so you do not feeling the loss of any events. I loved this book so much so i totally suggest it to you. Aslo I cherished the front of the book . It is so appealing and the title is straightforward and reasonable . I decided to peruse this book because due to its covering. Truly appreciated understanding it. Happy reading!✨
Before staring my review let me give you a brief insight of the two legends mentioned in the title of this book i.e Ashwatthama & Parashuram. In Indian mythology, Ashwatthama was a legend from Mahabharata who was cursed by lord Krishna because he killed the grand son of Arjun. He was sentenced to live forever on this land in ragged state till the end of it. Parshuram is sixty reincarnation of Lord Vishnu who never dies and said to be lived forever in the mountains of Mahindra and will be the guru of Kalki i.e the tenth reincarnation of lord Vishnu. Both being a prime example of sheer power and vast knowledge in mythology the modern depiction in this book is phenomenal.
The story of the book is stated in Poland and in the year 1944. The story revolves around these characters along with references to many other mythological aspects such as Vyasa, Mahabali, Kripacharya and many more. The story is not a mythological fiction but a science fiction with some mythical touch. I loved how the story progresses with each passing chapters. The intensity of the plot gets more and more intriguing with each passing.
The book consists of fifty chapters as the story moves with each chapter. The book seems quite longer than I expected and can be cut through some extra scenes. But the overall presentation of story and motive of it was cinematic and engaging. The language of the story is rich and also beautiful. The book is gripping and cover tells every thing about the action that is packed inside it.
Review time ⭐ Book name - Ashwatthama vs Parashuram: The Immortal Force Genre- Fiction, thriller Author - Gunjan Porwal Rating: 5/5
The story begins with a Historical background of all the characters and hence gave a touch of the times of Nazis and their rule, and draws back to the present, which introduces us to Ashwatthama, who's young and determined, and is given a task to find a warrior who's been missing since quite some time. As time passes, another important warrior comes in, i.e, Parashuram who's also assigned for the same. Slowly, all the important characters gets highlighted in the mission of finding the one.
Firstly , when i chose the book, i thought it would be a Mythological thriller, but the cover of the book said a completely different story, hence i got attracted towards choosing it. Hence, it's not really a mythological fiction but a sci-fi story with mythological characters. I am glad to have choosen this book. This book has really amazed me in every way possible. The story in between made me confuse on the characters as i couldn't make out the protagonist and the antagonist. As once the protagonist, becomes an antagonist the next moment. We all have the goodness and evil in us. It's we who choose what we shall becomes. Each characters has been portrayed very perfectly to what it says. The language of the book was lucid, the story was very captivating.Really enjoyed reading it thoroughly. Would really recommend to the once who's into sci fi thriller more, this would be a great read for you.
It's a thing equivalent to record breaking. When books declare a new dimension like world for the reader to reside within, the book's no less than a wonder in its own way. It's life and one holds dreams, expectations and much more. The book's for the ones who dream of something different and unusual and also, wonderful. I liked the simple and mind blowing concept on which the book's been based over and the way it continuously delivers a moral like value for the reader to adapt right from the starting although the genre it's based over, it's something different and demands a performance competitive enough. Author has magnificently weaved the dialogues, parts and all of the fifty plus chapters amalgamated in this book in a manner unique as the set of words used with the skill of narrating every page, is upto the mark of expectation I had before I picked up the read for my upcoming weekend. The length is just long enough and equivalent to two different books based on mythology which is no less than a treat to the eyes and with narration crispy, characterization apt and plot powerful enough, the book serves its purpose well enough. Overall the book's a great read to opt in for, as the newness is what one actually prefers to have in a book and this one's got that quite well with its cover page being bright and easily able to deliver a hint on the book's concept. The title is quite much for one to go for the read with the cover page designed with required detailing entailed.
Book review ✨📚 ⭐My Rating - 4/5⭐ The Book "Ashwatthama Vs Parashuram" is a Mythological Fiction by Gunjan Porwal.
This book consists of fifty chapters which talks about the Indian mythology which consists characters that are mostly well known by us. It has characters of Mahabharata as the main leads.
The varied characters of this book include Ashwatthamma Vyasa, Parashuram, Mahabali, Kripacharya and some others in the latter part.
For better understanding, the main leads were Ashwatthama and Parashuram who were the most famous mythological characters. Parashuram being the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, is the guru of Kalki. Parshuram is one of the greatest guru who signify the importance of learning , inspiration and many. While Ashwatthama was also a powerful guru, son of Dhronacharya. His madness towards lord Vishnu and killing the grandson of Arjuna was well noted.
So this book brings out the essence of these characters when Kripacharya goes missing mysteriously. When Parashuram was on the search of this immortal, he crosses path with Ashwatthama who wants to protect the mysteries as it will lead to a lot.
Read and find whether they both succeeded in their own journeys or not. The book was very lengthy and took time to understand the concepts. It had some unnecessary plots which could have been removed. The narration seems good and the pace was moderate. Overall it was a good read.
The ancient tale of Ashwattama is well known where as Purushottam is still hidden under the pages of history. The title was intriguing and I was looking for mythology reads since a long time but the cover left me in surprise.. The blurb that states about the ancient era is still fine but the statement -'Poland, 1944. A secret Nazi experiment in the Wieliczka salt mine of Breslau goes wrong, annihilating the entire research team', really made me curious and I couldn't hold myself back from picking this book.
It is a unique book exploring the scientific aspects as well as mythological tales. The way the story is written is absolutely gripping and with every page, the level of curiosity just increases.. It is completely hard to keep the book aside, the feeling to read one more page feels like an addiction and we end up reading the entire book. The plot is multi-layered but the narration is too clear that it nowhere creates the confusion.
The Author has smartly played with the title and character names but has done the justice to the expectations of the readers in all the ways. As the story talks about different timelines, a reader is sure of reading a good thriller book. After reading this book, I would like to read the rest works of the Author too as I found the writing style very impressive and flawless.
Overall a captivating, interesting and unputdownable read.
