I had already did the whole second edition a while back and came back for this one for a refreshing since I hadn't been keeping up with game dev.

This book is perfect for a newcomer, specially if they do already now some programming, it can came to a surprise a lot of the Mathematical and functions that even though some are similar to everyday programming, a lot are quite different but it's warranted for a totally different area, but Joe and Unity take you into a step by step to create some nice good looking demos, that provide the building blocks to do more and not end you bashing your head around.

Great book as a starter, I think this book is most of what you need to start just doing and learning by creating your projects.

Amazing book, incredibly helpful and detailed, great pacing, but as of this week Unity can go fuck itself.
