This book was okay, but nothing major. I was really into the first book, but this one just didn't feel as interesting as the previous one. First of all, Nadine and Logan had this instalove-connection, *cringe*, it just felt really forced when he denied wanting a girlfriend and a serious relationship and literally 5 minutes later he is head over heels for a, well, stranger. Also, there was no excitement to this story, like it was flat out them achieving their dreams and falling in love along the way. Nothing else happened and when the author TRIED to create tension it was just resolved too quickly which made me view the "tension" as insignificant. Also, the intimate scenes did annoy me and didn't feel natural, just kind of ... meh. So in conclusion this wasn't my favorite book, but since I do adore the whole Bennett-clan, I would give this series another chance with Pippa's book, which I think will turn it around again, cause feisty Pippa really was one of the better parts of this story.

Sweet romance. Our heroine is taking a huge chance by opening a high end clothing store in a different city. She wants to feature her own designs. Luckily she has relocated to the city with her best friend and the powerful family her friend is marrying in to. Add in a hot brother in said powerful family that is interested in our heroine. Romance ensues while each of them overcome previous baggage from past relationships.

Ihr wisst ich liebe layla Hagen, aber dieses Buch habe ich nicht so gefühlt wie ihre anderen. Keine Ahnung warum, denn die Geschichte war toll und ich kam echt flott voran, aber dieses Feeling war einfach nicht da. Ich mochte es trotzdem wieder gerne und ich schon langsam kann ich mir die Namen der Bennetts merken. Auf Pippas Geschichte freue ich mich auch irgendwie, denn sie hat es absolut verdient wieder glücklich zu sein und auch die Liebe ihres Lebens zu finden. Ich fand es bei Nadine auch heftig, wie viel sie in ihrem Leben schon erleiden musste und auch hier bleibt sie nicht verschont.

Sigue el entrecomillado para los diálogos. Nunca imaginé que podría echar tanto de menos unos simples guiones ;).
Logan pintaba muy bien, pero es totalmente decepcionante. Sebastian mucho mejor.
Le he dado dos estrellas pero podía ser hasta 1,5.

While this book had that sweet and charming story line, Ms. Hagen was still able to incorporate heat and a little drama to give this book an added flare. Overall, this book was trickling with lots of LOVE!!!! So if you are fan of love and meddlesome family members, then this book is for you!! I can’t wait for third book and have the family’s matchmaker Pippa get her shot at love.

Nice love story
Nadine is new to the city and she is trying her best to make her own cloth brand and name in the city. That is when through a series of events, she finds Logan in the place.
The chemistry between Nadine and Logan as Logan tries to help her in her work, is interesting. Though the story went on predictable lines, the story was a cute and enjoyable romance.

I love reading about the Bennett family. What a delicious story about a sexy Alpha male and a strong heroine. This series is one, not to miss...
Logan is rich, handsome and such a gentleman, but make no mistake, this guy is a total alpha male. Logan is very protective of his sisters and when a woman is with him , he gives her the best treatment and care. For the past few years, he has been focusing mainly on his company and family; but his very nosy sisters have decided to play matchmaker and hook him up with Nadine, who is best friends with his brother's fiancé.
Nadine is new to the city. She recently moved to NYC with a suitcase full of dresses and dreams. Always having to take care of someone, Nadine has had to put her goals and dreams on hold, but now she's ready to finally take the plunge and open her own luxury dress store. She's very focused and has no time for anything else, let alone love. But Logan Bennett is very hard to resist and once he offers her his help, little by little the man is on his way to claiming her heart.
I loved this story, not very high on drama but electric levels of high steam. This is one of those stories that will keep you smiling and sighing throughout the whole read. Sexy, sweet and very well written. Layla Hagen has done it once again because the more I discover about The Bennett family the more I want.

A sweet light contemporary romance, this book in the series focuses on Logan Bennett and Nadine Hawthorne. New to town, Nadine is best friend's with Ava Logan's soon to be sister-in-law. With Logan's sister and Ava playing matchmaker he and Nadine keep finding themselves together.
Logan and Nadine have a bit of a insta-connection.
At times the banter didn't entirely work, especially early on but it wasn't too bad. No angst or real tension in this, be ready for very light and fluffy.
A fair few moments that made me smile.

Mit Diamonds for Love - Verlockende Nähe kehren wir einmal mehr nach San Francisco zurück zur Bennett Familie. Und nachdem mir das erste Buch gut gefallen hat, immerhin war es eins meiner Highlights im Februar, habe ich mich regelrecht auf dieses Buch gefreut. Denn die Bücher von Layla Hagen versprechen immer wieder leicht und witzig und zuckersüß zu werden, ohne die ganzen Dramen die meist mit dem New-Adult Genre einhergehen. Also genau das Richtige für mich im Moment.
Nachdem die Kupplerin der Bennett Familie Pippa ihren ältesten Bruder Sebastian erfolgreich an die Frau gebracht hat, steht ihr nächstes Opfer schon fest. Diesmal ist es ihr älterer Bruder Logan, der "nette Bennett". Eine perfekte Frau für ihn hat Pippa auch schon im Auge. Nadine Hawthorne. Die beste Freundin von Ava und gerade erst frisch nach San Francisco gezogen. Und wie es scheint geht ihre Rechnung voll auf. Denn schon bei der ersten Begegnung der beiden macht es klick. Allerdings scheint es doch nicht so leicht wie man auf den ersten Blick annimmt. Kann das zwischen Logan und Nadine wirklich etwas werde oder stehen zu viele Hindernisse zwischen ihnen?
Mit Nadine hat Layla wieder mal eine Protagonistin erschaffen, die ich wirklich gerne als meine beste Freundin hätte. Sie ist gerade dabei ihren großen Traum von einer eigenen Boutique zu verwirklichen und ist in dieser Hinsicht so konzentriert und zielstrebig, davon könnte ich mir womöglich manchmal eine Scheibe abschneiden. Doch nichts geht Nadine über ihre Freunde und Familie. Sie ist loyal, fürsorglich, süß und absolut hinreißend. Ach vergesst den Satz am Anfang. Ich hätte Nadine nicht gerne als beste Freundin, ich wäre gern Nadine.
Aber wenn ich wirklich gerne hätte ist Logan! OMG wo bekomme ich so einen Mann her? Ich glaube das selbe habe ich schon bei seinem Bruder Sebastian gesagt, aber es stimmt wirklich. Die Bennett Brüder zeigen einem, dass es nicht immer der Bad Boy oder das Arschloch sein muss. Logan hat mein Herz im Sturm erobert mit seiner Loyalität und seiner fürsorglichen und liebevollen Seite. Und ja, ich gebe es zu, auch weil er natürlich verdammt heißt ist. Er verbindet wirklich alles, was ein perfekter aber sexy Gentlemen so braucht.
Und nachdem ich in letzter Zeit einige Bücher gelesen habe, wo mir die Chemie, dieser gewisse Funken, zwischen den Protagonisten gefehlt hat, bin ich jetzt so unglaublich dankbar, dass man genau diese Verbindung in Verlockende Nähe spürt. Denn Logan und Nadine bringen zusammen wirklich die Laken zum brennen. Aber sie sind eben nicht nur im Bett heiß zusammen (oder wo sie es sonst noch so getrieben haben). Sondern auch wenn sie einfach nu zusammen Filme schauen, ist da dieses Knistern. Ganz klar, Layla Hagen hat die perfekte Verbindung zwischen zwei Charakteren erschaffen und dafür liebe ich sie.
Und wofür ich sie eindeutig noch liebe, ist die komplette Bennett Familie. Die ganzen Charaktere die zu diesem riesigen Clan gehören, habe ich schon im ersten Buch ins Herz geschlossen. Aber jetzt lernte man ein paar andere Leute als im ersten Teil besser kennen, sodass ich die Bennetts nur noch mehr lieben gelernt habe. Dabei sind sie alle so unterschiedlich. Aber genau das macht den Charme aus, sodass ich mich jetzt riesig auf Band drei und die Geschichte von Pippa freue.
Ganz klar, Diamonds for Love - Verlockende Nähe hat mich genauso (wenn nicht sogar ein kleines bisschen mehr) begeistern können wie Teil eins mit seiner unwiderstehlichen Mischung aus zuckersüßen Liebesgeschichte und sexy Bettgeschichten. Und müsste ich mich jetzt zwischen einen der beiden bisherigen Bennett Brüder entscheiden, könnte ich das glaube ich nicht. Also gehören mir einfach beide. 😉

A sweet romance with fun and learning to let go of the past.
Nadine is a strong female with talents. She loves what she does and is determined to do what it takes to get what she wants without help but what she needs to learn that everyone sometime need a little help and the Bennett family are the ones to show her especially Logan.

Weiter ging es mit dem zweiten Band der Reihe. Diesmal stehen Logan und Nadine im Vordergrund. Auch hier ist der Cover wieder ein echter Blickfang. Der Schreibstil konnte mich wieder sehr überzeugen, genauso wie der Inhalt.
Ich habe wieder mitgefiebert von Anfang bis Ende.
Auch dieser Band bekommt eine Empfehlung von mir. Mal sehen ob der dritte Band der Reihe das ganze noch Toppen kann.

Naja .... es war vielleicht ein bisschen besser als der erste Band aber wirklich gut war dieses Buch auch nicht 😅 ich mag es zwar so viel Zeit mit dem glücklichen Pärchen zu verbringen aber es gab einfach keine Chemie 🤷♀️

I really have zero criticism. This was the right story read at the right time for me. I loved being back in the Bennett universe again. Please could someone introduce me to a guy with a family like the Bennetts? Seriously, I wanted to be adopted by this clan. And Nadine was a welcome new addition. I liked her determination, her dream of being a dress designer and proprietor, and her tendency to kick Logan whenever he tried to touch get her attention while she slept, lol!
And Logan, well what's not to love about him? The guy is dedicated to his family and a born alpha-protector. I really have zero criticism. This was the right story read at the right time for me. I loved being back in the Bennett universe again. Please could someone introduce me to a guy with a family like the Bennetts? Seriously, I wanted to be adopted by this clan. And Nadine was a welcome new addition. I liked her determination, her dream of being a dress designer and proprietor, and her tendency to kick Logan whenever he tried to touch get her attention while she slept, lol!
And Logan, well what's not to love about him? The guy is dedicated to his family and a born alpha-protector. I reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
I love the Bennett's so much - and this series is just so easy to enjoy. Logan is the epitome of a big brother and he brought that same protective nature in to his relationship with Nadine, which garnered mixed results. Both of them are such likable characters and while it wasn't exactly a case of instal-love between the two of them, I did appreciate that there wasn't a lot of angst or "will they/won't they" involved. It was easy to see that even though they both initially agree to a temporary relationship they are bound to develop something way deeper. I really loved the way Logan wanted to take care of Nadine and conversely the way that Nadine was determined to take care of herself. They were just such a sweet couple. As with the other Bennett books I've read, the family plays a huge (and entertaining role) in the book and I loved every instance where the siblings and parents were involved. Because of the awesomeness of Whispersync, I went back and forth between the Kindle copy of the book and Audible and I really loved the Audible narrators of the book too! Particularly Carly Robins - she did such a stellar job of giving each of the characters she read a unique voice. It made listening to the book a real treat. I give Your Captivating Love 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

Another win for Layla Hagen. She keeps surprising me with the stories she creates. I didn't think I could love a book as much as the Lost Series but then in walks the Bennett's. I am completely obsessed with this family and the men that make it up. The first novel in this series follows Ava and Sebastian as they fall in love. Now we meet Logan the brother that believes women should be spoiled and cherished (where can I get one??) and he quickly finds a place in my heart. Nadine is Ava's best friend and she has just arrived in town. The Bennett's and Ava quickly decide that Logan and Nadine would be perfect together and they will stop at nothing to make their brother happy.
Nadine is not used to being taken care of. Growing up she did the taking care of. She's been screwed over one too many times. She is determined to have fun but not give her heart over to Logan no matter how dashing and handsome he is.
Swoon worthy definitely. You must read this new novel but one of my favorite romance authors. She does not disappoint!

#1 reason to love Logan Bennett
His view of women "I was in high school when I decided I wouldn’t be an asshole. I made the decision after I overheard a moron saying he wanted to “tap that.” He meant Pippa. That’s when I realized every girl was someone’s sister or daughter, and it wasn’t fair to treat them in ways I’d hate anyone to treat my sisters."
Logan and Nadine have this instant attraction. She is trying to open her own clothing boutique. Logan gives her some assistance. Their banter and companionship is fun. This was a great read. The rest of the family is quite endearing and you can't help but love them all. I'm very much looking forward to reading more of this series. Romance lovers will enjoy having a new family to fall in love with.

Very entertaining and a book full of great characters. It's really cheesy and yes there are of course clichés but I really enjoyed the story about Nadine and Logan. A great book for in between with much love, a great family and lots of humor!

I am in LOVE with the Bennett Family. Layla Hagen has created such an amazing cast of characters, I can’t help but want to be in this family, or at least an “adopted” member of the Bennett family.
With each book I read of Layla’s, I fall more and more in love with her writing. She gives us such sweet love stories that also have an underlying message. Her stories move right along but without anything feeling rushed or insta love like. I always get swept up into her storylines. I have a hard time putting her books down.
Your Captivating Love is the second book in her interconnected stand alone Bennett Family Series. This book can be read alone, but my recommendation would be to read these books in order. You won’t miss anything storyline wise if you don’t, but you won’t get the full affect of the Bennett Family and their bond with each other if you read these out of order.
This book was filled with some humor, some sexy times, and even some frustrating times, but overall I had a smile on my face while reading this book. What I love the most about Layla’s books, is that she doesn’t overload them with excess drama. She has real life problems thrown in but no one ever really overreacts like we see with other books. I also loved the message Layla tried to get across to her readers….Not to give up on your dreams and don’t be afraid to seek help when needed. I loved that after everything that happened to Nadine in her past she stuck with her dream and it paid off in the end.
Your Captivating Love is the story of Logan (the Second Oldest Bennett) and Nadine (Ava’s BFF…Ava is Sebastian’s fiancee from book 1) Logan and Nadine are very similar in the fact that they both have serious trust issues when it comes to love. Both have been hurt in the past and don’t feel they want love in their lives anymore. So when they are introduced and there is instant attraction, they are both taken by surprise. They try to fight things for a little while, but then decide to just have fun and see where things go. Can Logan and Nadine ever trust love again and have their HEA?? You’ll need to read their story to find out.
We do get to see all of the other Bennett family members in this book. We even got introduced to Max who is located in London. I love their bond and how all of them work together to make each of them succeed. I am looking forward to reading Pippa’s story next.
So if you are looking for that romance novel that is a stand alone with NO cliffhanger, that has an entertaining storyline, relatable characters and will leave you with a huge smile on your face, then this is the book to read!! You won't be sorry :)

My first experience with Layla Hagen was the fourth book in the Bennett Family series, Your Inescapable Love, and I adored that book. Unfortunately, the other books I've read in this series just haven't been stand-outs. Your Captivating Love is my least favorite so far, but I am glad I read it.
Your Captivating Love is about Logan Bennett, the CFO of Bennett Enterprises and Nadine Hawthorne, who's just moved to San Francisco to open up a dress shop. Nadine is finally going to open her dream shop. She's had a few setbacks, but she's determined to finally make her dream happen. She doesn't have time for a relationship, but when she meets Logan she can't deny the attraction. And of course they get together.
I liked Nadine and Logan. They are both nice people. Logan is such a nice guy, and wants to help out Nadine anyway he can. He knows he has some influence because of the successes of Bennett Enterprises, but he never lords it over anyone. He's very down to earth. Nadine is so hard working, and I really admired her determination to make her dream business happen. I also loved seeing Nadine fit into the Bennett family.
Nadine and Logan were definitely a couple I could get behind. They had a lot of chemistry. I liked them both individually, and I could understand why they wanted to be with each other.
I did, however, have some issues with Your Captivating Love. As with previous books, the banter just didn't quite work. Especially during there first meeting. I just couldn't believe these two were talking to each other like that. There will also times when a character would do something that felt more as a way to move the plot along or to just make a cute interaction between Logan and Nadine, but it never felt natural.
I also has some major issues Nadine's business sense. She's opening a dress shop, but she wasn't open on the weekends. I mean, I guess I can understand being closed on Sunday, but definitely not on Saturday. She was so concerned with money, but she doesn't open her dress shop on a typical shopping day? Doesn't make sense. Plus, she kept a lot of her inventory at her apartment, and that caused major issues later on. It just didn't make sense, particularly because she has been planning for this for years.
Still, even with the issues I had, I am still curious about the rest of the Bennett siblings. Your Captivating Love by Layla Hagen was not a hit for me, but it wasn't horrible either. I am glad I read it, and I do want to finish this series.This review was originally posted on Quinn's Book Nook

This was an enjoyable and fun read.
We met Logan and Nadine in the first book and at the end of that one, we were teased by a possible romance. Well we were not disappointed with their story. Logan has always been the protector of his siblings. He has been hurt by a past relationship and has decided not to settle down. Nadine has made the move to a new location, after a breakup, to start her own business and to be near her best friend, Ava (who is now engaged to Sebastian, Logan’s brother). It seems that the female Bennetts and Ava have decided to play matchmaker for Logan and Nadine.
I did enjoy the relationship between Nadine and Logan. What started out as something fun morphed into something real. For two people who were opposed to having a “real” relationship, it sure becomes something more and interesting. They are basically the same person and they get along really well-a perfect match. Their growing relationship was sweet to read about. The way that Logan treated Nadine-sigh every girl needs a man like that.
Once again, the rest of the Bennett family add so much fun to the story. They are such a great family. All of the siblings have their own uniqueness that they bring. The banter between the characters were some of the best parts of the book. This is a light read that will keep you intrigued until the end. I can’t wait for the next book and see where the Bennetts takes us next.

3.5, i know it is stupid thought, but i want a guy who can take care everything for me, no need to fight for my own, someone being there to take care it.
i want to be Nadine when she is and SF but not the one in NC. Anyway, we all understand that "no pain no gain", it is a dream i can hope i will have one day. Logan and Nadie story is sweet, a man always protect his love and family, a lady has hope to achieve her dream. the family of Bennett are amazing too, the silbings always show their support when the family need, also adopt the people around them when they need.
