This book is a good mix of inspiring & relatable examples of people who have made career changes, and practical, thought-provoking career coaching advice. The author has 20+ years as a career and executive coach, as well as a popular podcast on the same topic. Readers who are thinking about a career change, or who are feeling like they want 'more' out of life and are thinking their career choices may be a key part of making that happen, would do well to read & consider the important suggestions in this book. Each chapter has a different theme related to the challenges readers may be facing when thinking about a career change, and the end of each chapter has coaching questions to get the reader thinking about applying the lessons to their own life. I received an advance review copy of this book from the publisher, which in no way affected my review.

I really liked the book. The concepts Tammy presents align with my own philosophies, and Tammy employs a conversational writing style that conveys both the emotion and information that will inspire you.

Each chapter has a theme. Tammy introduces the theme, relates why you need to know about the theme, and then introduces two people. You learn about them and the lessons they experienced.
The stories hit home.

They resonate with the reader, because the stories are not presented as "YOU can do this, too" style stories. They are stories of ordinary people, who failed, succeeded, persevered, or even 'lucked out.'
I found some of the people on LinkedIn and IMDB. I am so impressed they gave Tammy permission to use their actual names. This made them even more relatable for me.

Tammy ends each chapter with some questions for the reader. While the stories inspire, the questions challenge you-mainly to be honest with oneself.

I highly recommend the book for career pivoters and others who face career-related challenges.
If you are willing to be inspired in your search for answers--as opposed to demanding them--this is a must read.
