Spoilers if you have not read the first two books * * * * * * * * * * Hyde is dead. The King is dead. Trinity is now Queen of Angor.
It's a destiny thrown upon her too soon and one she's not even sure she wants. After killing her uncle, Hyde, and capturing his rebels, Trinity must repair relations between Humans and Angorians. She must find a way to ease their fears and assure them that Angorians will not cause them harm.
Trinity must prove herself a leader to the beings of Angor, protect them from the remaining rebels who are determined to carry on Hyde's legacy.
But there's a darkness stirring within her, calling to her in her dreams and whispering in her thoughts. Trinity must fight for her future, her crown, her people.
Settle Myer lives in New York City with her cats Zombie, Michonne, and Birdie. She's currently a TV news writer who hopes to one day leave a world of death, disaster, and politics for a world of creativity and adventures. She loves all things zombies, cats, karaoke, and tattoos. But not necessarily in that order.
The world building and character development leveled up in this book of the trilogy! We got to see Trinity and team Trinity grow as individuals and as a family. Myers’ characters are diverse, and she doesn’t shy away from highlighting and celebrating that diversity.
I didn’t see all of the twists coming, but every twist was so well set up and made so much sense.
I was also impressed by how Myer handled what happened after Hyde. And how she decided and articulated what would be required to bring together Earth and Angor. Myer thought of EVERYTHING.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the dual perspective— I LOVED IT. Sometimes Trinity can be an unreliable narrator when it comes to how she perceives herself, so I loved getting to see how truly bad a** she was from Julians perspective.
I received an arc of this in return for an honest review. But the series is also on KU, so get to reading! I’ll also be buying this trilogy as it is definitely something I need on my bookshelf. I mean — LOOK AT THAT COVER ART!
I can’t say enough good things about this book. The final book of an amazing series. You get to watch as Trinity continues to grow through her destiny as this kick ass female character. Her friendships, her love, her heartache.. it’s all just so amazing to navigate alongside her character. I’m so sad that it’s over. Truly a great series!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. The character and story development is amazing. This last book was full of twists and turns. The author kept me guessing and I loved it. I am sad this series is done, but looking forward to the author's next project. (I received a free advanced copy to read, and in exchange I am giving my honest opinion/review.)
I have been waiting for this book for so long that I had to stretch it out… I finished the other two in a day. They are such addicting books. Fun story and catches your attention right away. The author is also a really awesome person! She created out tiktok book club and I’ve read so many great books because of her and all the new people she brought together! If you want a thrilling adventure with a sweet ending these books got you!! Such a perfect story to lose yourself in!
I have loved Trinity and Julian from the start. They have had my attention as characters in a way that I find very rare in novels. This book was amazing. The characters were wonderfully written, the story was intriguing. Despite having a lot going on, the plot was well paced and had some really good moments for each character. I especially loved reading from Julian's POV! One of my favorite reads of the year!
I did receive an ARC copy in return for an honest review.
I have loved this entire series. I could not have asked for a better ending….still cried and wished it didn’t come to an end but was beautiful and definitely right.
This was the perfect ending to this trilogy! This book tied all the strings together and filled me with joy! Definitely recommend reading this last installment of this trilogy.
Trinity and Julian are back again! What a page turner! I don't like giving out spoilers so all I'm going to say is go read this book! Their journey has continued in this book.
