A long time ago, in a mountain range not far away, two brothers set out to explore the High Uintas. What they found astounded them. Backcountry vistas were grander than they could have possibly imagined, and many of the lakes were full of brook and cutthroat trout. Jeffrey and Brad made annual treks, until that was no longer enough. Then they hiked more often. They backpacked into amazing places, scaled peaks and passes, camped under the stars, swatted mosquitoes, caught and released countless trout and ate a few.The Probst brothers fell in love with these mountains, and after decades of hiking they knew they had to share their experiences and photographs. Hoping to help others plan backcountry adventures, they created this book.
