The Billionaire and His Forever

We were always going to be an impossible fantasy.
There was never a future for us between the secrets and the scandals, the temptations and the lies, and above all--a child who never deserved this life.

✨A TOP READ OF 2022✨

This trilogy is fan-freaking-tastic!!! Graham and Abbie go through so much to be together! It was breaking my heart all along the way! Once you think that things are going to be ok.... it isn't. Natasha (Graham's exwife) is like an annoying illness... you think you are better and then it comes back to remind you that you are still having to deal with it! Jude steals the show in all occasions! That girl can make any of the situations seem just a bit brighter and like there may be a light at the end of this tunnel.

When Abbie and Graham are hot..... THEY ARE FIRE!!! And when they are apart.... they are the most heartbreakingly sad people! I really was quite happy when Abbie found herself again.... she is young and while she thought her world was ending and the future that she was dreaming of was now gone..... I understood that she needed that time to have her mourning period, but I am so so so glad that she is the one that talked herself into getting back to her sassy and intuitive self. No one had to tell her to pull herself back together.... she did it on her own! And I thought that was awesome AF!

Go grab this trilogy now!!! You will not regret it!

WOWZA! I was so excited to read this final book in the His Nanny Trilogy! Book #3 did NOT disappoint. Graham and Abbie's love story was definitely a wild roller-coaster ride. The action was non-stop as they both worked to find their happily-ever-after together. The twists and turns were crazy! Just when you thought Graham and Abbie were getting somewhere, BAM!, Graham's ex-wife, Natasha gets in the way, again!

I really enjoyed this story. There was plenty of emotion, love and steamy times throughout. The pages were turning very easily. I was anxious to know just what could possibly happen next! I enjoyed being in another reality for the time I was reading. Was the storyline very realistic? Probably not, but it was fun, fun, fun nevertheless! I always look forward to reading a book that takes me away from real life for awhile. This series did that in a very enjoyable way. Two thumbs up from me!

Star crossed 🖤

I Danté & Frankie’s story and was very curious about the girl who would bring Marco to his knees!! Who knew that it would be the total opposite to him. He’s a super flirty, loves the ladies type of guy and she is a naive girl who loves Jane Austen💕

For all their differences they are absolutely perfect for each other. Their families not so much:/

After that cliffy I’m anxiously awaiting Forbidden War👀

I loved the first 2 books in this trilogy and I was looking forward to the 3rd installment for Graham and Abby.

Unfortunately, this one didn't live up to the expectations set by the first 2 titles.

This one felt like filler. It felt like there was angst for the sake of angst and sex for the sake of sex, but none of it really felt like it moved the story forward in any real way. There was no real character growth in this one, and nothing really felt all that new.

A book about a much younger nanny falling in love with the older father of her charge doesn't really need additional angst, it's already there and the angst in this one really felt like it existed so there could be a 3rd book.

I think this could have been a much stronger duet, and the author could have even added some of what happened in this one and made it work, but as is, this felty like a really long extended epilogue and really didn't move anything forward.

I do think it's worth the read as it ends their story, but it wasn't what I wanted going in. I do recommend, albeit reluctantly, this title.

I've been mulling over what to write for this book review for a few days now. I'm really torn because the main plot line of this book I loved but there are somethings that I just can't get past and put out of my mind.

The nitty gritty details: This gets tied up and we have a HEA. There were twists and turns a plenty. If I'm totally honest a few too many but I liked most of them. The growth between Graham and Abby was good but she remained a bit too naive and childish. There could have been more growth for Abby for sure. Some things should have had more focus like the Natasha arc and also the Quinn angle. While the opposite should have happened for the sex scenes. I enjoy adult times in books but they must be well placed and have meaning and add to the story. A lot of these should have been completely removed and others pared down. If this were done this could easily be a duology and IMHO would have much more impact.

All that said I really enjoyed this trilogy and will be looking to read more by this author.

Woe is Karina 1, 2, and 3

I wholeheartedly believe a Trilogy was unnecessary and it probably,y why Armani has been the only character I find likable.

The author made the same mistake with Karina that she did with Frankie. She tried to portray Karina as endearing, naive, and selfless, but I found her annoying with her ridiculous obsession with Jane Austen and her thinking her and Marco is the modern Romeo and Juliette.

There is also her attempt as portraying Dante and Marco alpha males with a moral compass. FAIL!

The author could not make me believe that any of the attributes that she assigned to the characters(except Armani) were authentic.

Karina’s internal “woe is me” musings were nauseating. She was the consummate perpetual victim in all three books and in complete denial that she more like her uncle and not at all “innocent”! She was the most selfish character to date in my opinion, and her Marco are two peas in pod.

There was also a lot of unnecessary intimate scenes that were clearly added to fill up pages since they were at the most bizarre places/time.

Dante and Frankie are as annoying as ever— especially Frankie COS playing as the virtuous wife/sister/boss lady. I dislike her even more than I did in her series.

I ended up skimming a lot of book 3, because I was over them.

The only character I found remotely tolerable in the two trilogies so far is Armarmi and I am hoping after 6 books in this series, the author will do him justice.

The Billionaire and His Forever
(His Nanny Trilogy 3)
By Sadie Black

I’m not good at guessing what might happen but I didn’t expect what Graham and Abbie were going to have to face in order to get to their happy ending! Actually, I wasn’t sure there would be a happy ending because if we thought all the backstabbing and lying had been dealt with in books one and two….nope, uh huh…..there is still so much drama to come in book three.

It was never a secret that Abbie’s father was up to something and boy it was much worse than I had realized. On top of it we hadn’t seen the last of Natasha…I really dislike that woman. Who knew we would face more than one villain but we do!

We also have darling Jude, and if you are anything like me all you really want for her is to be out of the clutches of her mother and to live her life like every happy eight year old should.

Author Sadie Black threw so much at Graham and Abbie and for the most part they threw it right back, but sometimes the people that lie to you are the people that do the most damage and that damage was done and now it is up to Graham and Abbie to find their peace and hopefully become a family.

As I said, if you like seeing villains being put in their place and rooting for the underdog(s) give Graham and Abbie and Jude a read. Each book in this series flies by, I found each one of them quick reads. I also really like the way that this author literally picks up each book in the series from the last page we read. Start from book one, The Billionaire and His Nanny, move on to The Billionaire and His Scandal and finally this book. It’s an easy binge read and I recommend it.

Tropes: nanny, billionaire, age gap, betrayal, secret relationship

What a conclusion for Graham and Abbie’s story! In this book, we got to see everything come together. This dramatic conclusion was filled with tension, betrayal, lust, and love. These two definitely went on a quite a journey, and they definitely fought for each other. I’m happy with how some of the story lines were wrapped up, and wish we had gotten a few more details on others. Definitely a notable conclusion!

The series continued along the same overdramatic angsty line as the other two books. This one has a couple of situations that seemed to be filler and I started skimming about halfway through. I'm glad that we had the big reveal with Abbie's dad and there was some explanation and resolution. However, Abbie was really quick to go back to Graham and that was super annoying. The man didn't trust you twice and kicked you out twice. You can do better, girl. Overall, I liked the resolution and finding out what was going on with everyone's motives. Great finish to the series.

These two have been through so much, and this third part does not hold back. I loved seeing the progression for Abbie through this series and I think the woman she becomes in this part is my favorite. Graham's trauma from his ex-wife seems to also come fully to the surface in this part.
Getting to know these characters through the trilogy was a wild ride. I have such a soft spot for Jude, the child that was dragged through hardships but offered shelter from the storms with her relationship with Abbie. I loved how the house would rally around to protect Jude from it all.

Wow... we finally reach the end! What an exciting series. So much drama, love, romance, lust and chemistry in the trilogy. :) It's done at a breath-taking pace too. What great characters... not just the main hero and heroine but the daughter is so cute and precious too. :) I was so shocked by the twists too... A terrific trilogy from the beginning to the end.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Overall: 4/5
Spice level: 3/5
Tropes: Billionaire, CEO, age gap, nanny/employer, sec9nd chance

Overall the series was good, although I felt like there were aspects of the plot that were just drama for the sake of drama.

Abbie and Graham had lots of chemistry though and in this last installment she showed lots of strength and cunning and fighting out how to clear her name.

And the epilogue was pretty cute.

I don't know how to describe this book. I wished I could say there's some growth and development in this one, but I didn't really see it. I wished there was more character growth in Abbie and that she would realise what her dad was doing to her. But she continued to be naive about it. I loved that she was there for Graham's daughter and kept it together. What I really didn't like was that the thing that happened in the first book happened again. Graham thought she betrayed him again. And what do you know, she took him back easily!? I really didn't get that. I knew why it was resolved immediately but still, the author could've used another issue for them. It's repetitive at this point.

I love Grahmn and Abbie what a powerhouse couple they did not have it easy with loads of twisted, hurtful, and very strong emotions thrown around.
I loved that Abbie came to her senses and showed everyone she is one strong powerful woman and Jude God I love that little girl.
This Trilogy is amazing and everything I could ask for.

Heartbeats to Heartbreaking

The thrill of meeting someone you connect with and that first love honeymoon period. The growth of that love, then the sudden realization that the person you thought was your one true love might not be-even if it's a misunderstanding.

Get your tissues ready for this installation.

The final in the sin Trilogy, the title let's you know that it does end in a HEA.
But even after all of the trials they went through to reach this part, it is not a straight forward conclusion for Abbie and Graham.
With accusations and sabotage, Sadie Black continues to weave suspense through this novel as you wonder when the main characters are finally going to be given a break.
A great end to the Trilogy as Black ties up all of those loose ends.

I enjoyed the series overall. This was the most predictable book of the series, and my least favorite. With that said it was still a good book and finished out the trilogy. The epilogue was adorable and one of my favorite parts. Although, I have a huge soft spot for Jude. 🌶️ ⭐️

The cliffhanger was the best part.

Are we supposed to be rooting for this asshole to get this whiny girl? The entire book I was highlighting passages that I wanted to mail to this girl's therapist because she needs a serious dose of self-help.

Age gap romance? I'm here for it. Grumpy x sunshine trope? sign me up. Fighting feelings? Yes please. But this did all of that really poorly.

Our FMC was an utter doormat who allowed this dick to call her "atrocious" to her face and she's like, oh I'm so wet for him. I had secondhand embarrassment for her the entire time.

Forbidden Bride....

Here we get Marco's story, the baby of the Bellanti family and the adrenalin junkie. He's into race cars in a big way and has even opened his own business.

It's at one of the race days when he and Karina come face-to-face and suddenly Marco understands what Dante feels when he looks at Frankie!

Karina is a Bruno, the family at war with the Bellantis and they are cruel!
She's not treated as a person, she's locked up, isolated, gets punished, and is 100% under her uncles thumb. It's sad what she goes through!

There's a problem - Dante and Armani knew nothing of Marco and Karina! And when they eventually find out, he says some things to try and smooth it over - guess who hears..... Cue the cliffhanger!!

I'm excited for more!!

Drama, drama, drama!

This book picks up where The Billionaire and His Scandal leaves off. And I was pleasantly surprised that Graham didn’t get off right away. But as one scandal ends, another starts. This time with Abbie at the helm.

And it seems like her father isn’t done ruining her life either. Just when it looks like things are looking up, he does something that shakes Graham and Abbie and destroys all they have built.

Graham and Abbie get their happy ending at the end of this book.

This book got a five-star rating from me for how engaging and fast-paced I found it. I almost knocked it down to four stars for how immediately Abbie forgave Graham. I expected her with her new outlook to make him work a bit for forgiveness and not just jump back into his arms.

Overall, this trilogy is a great read. Age gap, billionaire, nanny, and slight praise kink are some of the tropes that are interwoven into the story all while making you want to know more.

I received an advanced review copy from the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
