A Canadian West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. She spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn't end up in the air conditioner. But when the kids are at school and it's not quite wine o'clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

A lover of all things decadent; wine, cheese, chocolate and spicy erotic romance, Whitley brings the humorous side of sex, the ridiculous side of relationships and the suspense of everyday life into her stories. With single dads, firefighters, Navy SEALs, mommy wars, body issues, threesomes, bondage and role-playing, Whitley’s books have all the funny and fabulously filthy words you could hope for.

5 star review Christmas With The Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #5) by Whitley Cox

This series keeps getting better and better. Every time I read a new book in the series I fall more and more for all the dads in The Single Dads of Seattle series. Christmas With The Single Dad has become my new favourite. I so wanted Zak Eastwood and Aurora (Rory) Stratford to get their happily ever after.

Aurora has been infatuated with Zac since the first time she saw him but knows that she has no chance. Badly burnt by his ex wife’s lies and betrayal Zac has no intention of opening himself up to love again, that is until fate steps in and puts Aurora in his path.

I loved how a snowstorm gave Zak and Rory the chance to really connect with one another. Although it was fast, it soon became obvious to both that there was something worth pursuing. Neither Zac or Aurora can ignore the smoldering chemistry and growing feelings that sizzle between them.

When their idyllic time is interrupted by unexpected visitors as well as his adorable children being returned for Christmas, Zak and Rory embrace the holiday with gusto. For Rory, the easy acceptance by Zak’s grandparents and his children Aiden and Tia melts her lonely heart and I admit it was emotional. In fact there were times when I felt that Aiden and Tia might steal the book away from Zak and Rory.

There were times when I laughed and times where I wanted to cry. It will make you swoon and I think you will be hard pressed not to fall in love with all of the characters. I loved that we also see other members of the club; the camaraderie and friendships amongst the men and the women they fall in love with is heart warming.

However what will happen when Zac discovers Rory’s “lies by omission” ? Will he be able to overlook them and forgive her or will the pain of his past ruin his chance at happiness with Rory?

This is my first dip into the Single Dads of Seattle and it won't be my last - in fact I have just downloaded the first one!

I wish their were more kids in the world like Zaks two; Aiden and Tia showed us that forgiveness for a little white lie is ok - I loved the line - 'Learn how to forgive Dad. Learn that people make mistakes but we can learn from them, that we can be better people. Its ok to make a mistake as long as you learn from them? So true but Zak isn't sure he forgive Aurora for her little white lie, haven't been deceived and lied to by his ex-wife honest is everything to Zak and what and who he thought Aurora was isn't exactly true.

Aurora is struggling under a world of debt - she just managed to pass the bar by the skin of her teeth after the hurt ache of losing her brother left her not having the will to continue added in that her after has had a heart attack and her parents are struggling with medical bills she finds her live is just about 80 hours of work a week and sending what little money she has home. Her only bright light is going to the gym half way across town to watch Zak the hunk that she sees there especially after her boyfriend dumps her two weeks before xmas and promptly gets engaged to someone else!

Her dream to speak to Zak come true when she stays to long at the gym just as a blizzard sets in and her car won't start! Enter Zak who invites her home as his kids are spending xmas with their mum! The sparks fly from the moment they are alone and Aurora thinks all her xmas's have come at once when Zak seems to feel the same way even though he believes and Aurora lets him that she is higher up in the firm than she really is and isn't a lowly paid intern. With the blizzard setting in Zaks kids don't go away on their vacation so arrive home unexpected finding Aurora with their dad their instantly fall in love with her and they all are on course to ave the best xmas ever - but little white lies can come out when you least expect them and Zak is left feeling betrayed by Aurora.

Can these two find their way back to each other and can Zak forgive a little white lie

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Aurora Leanne Stratford and Zachary "Zac" Ryan Eastwood. Aurora typically works 80 hours a week as an associate at a law firm. She gives all her extra money to her parents since her father's heart attack that left him unable to work. She has no time to date so her one guilty pleasure is staring at Zac at the gym she goes to. Is it conveniently close to home no is is close to work no but Zac is there and that is why she paid for the lifetime membership. One night close to Christmas she decides she has had enough of the one girl in the gym no matter how much she works out makes her feel bad. So in stead of giving up her machine and cowering away she decides enough is enough. This however has her running late and by the time she gets out of the shower it is dark outside. Lucky for her Zac is leaving late as well so when he car dies he is there to rescue her. Zac knows he should know this woman who is having car trouble it is his gym after all but he just doesn't know her name. That doesn't mean he isn't going to find it out. So when her car breaks down he figures he has the perfect opportunity to play white knight. What Zac likes even better she has no clue he is the owner of the gym. The one thing Zac can't stand though is a liar after dealing with all the lies from his ex he is done. When it comes out and she has secrets that haven't been revealed will it be HEA in the end or a great downfall with no end in site?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you emotionally hooked into these characters from the first page to the very end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Hired by the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #1)
Dancing with the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #2)
Saved by the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #3)
Living with the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle #4)

This is Aurora and Zac’s story. Aurora is drowning in debt because she is trying to pay her own way and help her parents at the same time. She has a fitness membership that is super pricey only so she can see Zac and fantasize about him as he is out of her league. When a huge snowstorm hits and her car breaks down, he offers her shelter. The chemistry is off the charts, but Zac has rules. He will never be with someone who lies. In turn Aurora keeps parts of herself secret and do not correct his assumptions as she does not need his pity. He is rich and this is only a brief fling. When feeling become involved and his kids come into the picture things get out of hand. Now the secrets are piling up. What happens when they all come out? Will he listen or just kick her to the curb for breaking his rules?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Christmas with the Single Dad (The Single Dads of Seattle Book 5) by: Whitley Cox

Christmas with the Single Dad is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between my ereader and great storytelling. Aurora and Zak are a beautiful distraction for open hearts everywhere. Love found the right people at the wrong time. Can fate show them that happy endings are more than just a fantasy. Cox delivers hope that leaves a real, lasting impact on the heart.

This series has been a wonderful surprise to me. I have enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Zak and Aurora's story was great- I loved how protective Zak was of his children, and how taken Aurora was with not only Zak, but with his children.

Christmas with the Single Dad
(The Single Dads of Seattle #5)
By Whitley Cox

Don’t we all love a Christmas love story and don’t we love it more when it involves a single dad? This book is Zak and Aurora’s story.

Zak has worked so hard to get to where he is today. Owning several Club Z gyms in the Seattle area, he is working hard to expand more statewide. When he isn’t at the gym he is a home with his kids Aiden and Tia.

Seattle is hit with a major snowstorm just before Christmas and it is playing havoc with the roads. As the snow flies down, Zak is at the gym, working out and watching what happening with his clients. When he see one woman approach another one on one of the machines their conversation catches his eyes and his ears. No one has ever stood up to Shadley, it seems however the good-looking lady on elliptical was doing a pretty good job at knocking Shadley down a peg or two. Quiet Aurora Stratford was not going to be bossed around by anyone and she stood her ground. Zak noticed that and was pleased she had not backed down when asked to get off the equipment she was on.

Closing time was only ten minutes away so off Aurora went to shower before driving home and not finding anyone around, once she was ready to leave, she walked right into the storm. That’s when Zak and Aurora’s lives were going to change.

She ends up at Zak’s place as the snow continues to fall; she starts falling for Zak, who she’s already had a crush on. Zak has rules though, no lies is the most important one. Is not correcting his assumptions about some of her responses lying or is it Aurora protecting herself after her last bad break up…on top of the stressful year she’s had.

What begins to look like they could make something of their feelings (ok lusty feelings), as well as his kids really loving Aurora when they arrive home unexpectedly may just to up in smoke when several of the Single Dad’s members arrive for Christmas dinner.

There were a lot of emotions on both sides in this story and I understand her not setting Zak straight on several issues. So my only question is going to be will he apologize for what happened at dinner or will he walk away?

So Enjoyed

This is the first book I have read in this series but it's great. Aurora joined the gym because of Zak, she admired him from afar. Zak is actually the gym owner and a single dad. When he see she needs help just days before Christmas when her car died in the parking lot, he semi lonely Christmas break became less lonely.

There are books that can catch my attention just by reading good the blurb, and this book is one of them.
And if it's a book from a series that I really like, it the cherry on top of the best cake in the world.
Whitley Cox has created this perfect series that will hook you up in a sec. But don't think you'll be reading so mild story, sweet and sweet. Oh no... You'll find an amazing story, with some angst, done drama and tears into the mix but in the end... Oh boy... In the end, it can change.
Her writing is sweet, intense and with some hot stuff into the mix. Just get ready to grab this series and be amazed.
Christmas With The Single Dad is her latest release and it's the fifth book from the Single Dads of Seattle.
I need to tell you something. Even though all books are standalone, I advise you to read them all in order. By doing so, you'll get the chance to know every character and love their stories. Just go for it.
This new book explores the lives of Zak and Aurora.
Zak's goal is to raise his kids the best he can. He's divorced and it hurts every single time he has to let his kids go to their mothers' house.
He owns several Fitness Center's and uses them as well so he's used to grabbing every women's attention, but he doesn't want to chain himself again...
Holidays are coming and he planes to spend those days partying but when one stranger asks for help...
Aurora is struggling to live her life. She has so many bills to pay, her student loan and her fathers' medical bills that she struggles to make ends meet.  She doesn't have too much money to spend but she has to live so she attends Club Z Fitness. Her eyes are caught in one particular man...the owner and one day...
Sweet, perfect, beautiful... All adjectives that describe this book perfectly.
Fantastic plot, very well written, super engaging and sweet. It was a joy to read it.
These two were deeply hurt, you could see it behind each scene and it was stunning to witness their fights.
They shared great chemistry and his kids are fabulous.
Love, family bonds, true friendship, desire are very present in this book as well as lies deceive, betrayal and drama.
How can you trust when you hide something? Or better yet, how can you love someone truly when you can't live yourself completely?
In life, nothing is granted but in love, everything goes. Trust yourself, trust your heart and the path will be revealed to you.
It was great to have news from the other characters from these series and I can't wait for the next one
Whitley, will we have to wait long? I want more... Asap. Pretty please?I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

My new favorite of the series. There is something about the holidays that makes people just feel good; spending time with family, the traditions and the overall warmth of holiday season. However, there is also the flip side when one lives in an area that is prone to receiving snow as it can put a damper on the festivities and throw a wrench into one’s life. Yet sometimes, the unexpected can occur and leave a person with a new lease on life. Aurora is a woman who is struggling to make ends meet. Her one ray of sunshine is her gym membership that allows her the perfect view of Zak, alpha male personified. Zak is the gym owner, with two young children, and very familiar with receiving the attention of women, even when unwanted. One night after staying late at the gym, Aurora is attempting to go home when she not only gets caught in the snow but her car up and dies. Luckily, a large truck comes to her rescue and Aurora is gobsmacked when she realizes it is Zak. What started out as a lackluster holiday for Aurora looks like it is picking up in spades. As the two get to know each other, there are things that are said but the whole truth is left unsaid. Regardless, the two begin a steamy relationship that just burns hotter with each day that passes. However, is a lie of omission really a lie? How will Zak react when he learns the whole truth? Will Zak be able to get past his feelings and forgive Aurora or will he cut off his nose to spite his face? This is such a wonderful storyline made even better with the wit injected from Zak’s children….as the saying goes out of the mouths of babes. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading Emmett’s story next! I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.

Can’t get enough of this series!!! The latest book in the series focuses on Zak, who is a fellow single dad as well as brother to Adam. He owns a gym and is used to the advances women make on him due to his looks and professional success, but he is still extremely scorned from the bad breakup with his ex-wife. Aurora is a member at one of Zak’s gyms and really only works out there because of Zak. When a bad snowstorm hits and Aurora’s car breaks down, Zak offers her a ride, only to end up at his house together. Not knowing anything about each other, they get to know each other with being the only ones in the house, but fate has other plans. They quickly go from empty house to Zak’s whole family showing up (kids and grandparents), and as friends come and go they go with the flow and get to know more about each other and the feelings continue to grow. But when Zak finds out things that Aurora has said aren’t completely true and lying being a hard limit for him, the question remains if they have blown their chance together. I absolutely love that Aurora is actually intertwined within the group of friends and there is somewhat of a familiarity to her because of it. Yet again, another great addition to this series and I can’t wait for the next one!

This is one of my favourite series of 2019 and just when you think it can’t get any better we Christmas with the Single Dad and we are back with the single dads of Seattle at my favourite time of the year.
Zac Eastwood has been burnt before and he is adamant love and relationships are not for him all he cares about are his two adorable kids and building his fitness business but life is about to be turned upside down for Zac when a snowstorm hits town and he finds himself coming to the rescue of one of his gym members Aurora (Rory). Rory has been attracted to Zac from the moment she met him but deep down she thinks he is completely out of her league until the night he rescues her from the side of the road, what follows is two people getting to know each other but sometimes we lie for self preservation and one thing Zac hates is a liar so can this couple find the magic and the most magical time of the year ..........
This book ticked all my boxes, a couple with sizzling chemistry, adorable kids and let’s not forget catching up with the members of my favourite club the single dads of Seattle. I laughed, I smiled,I sighed and I fanned myself quite a lot as I read this beautifully written love story and I’m sure you will too. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I’m sure you will want to read all of this great series with hot loveable men and their adorable kids.

This is single dad Zaks story.
Aurora a semi lawyer is trying to cope with the loss of her brother and the strain of money problems oh yeah her parents. She has only one thing that brightens her life anf that is the view of Zak when she goes to the gym.
Zak doesn't like liars ir cheats so he stays away from women, thats Kinda hard since he owns a gym where women are constantly throwing themselves at him. He lives for his children and his work. His ex Loni though is a real piece of work.
Aurora believes that Zak never notices her at yje gym and she kinda feels like a creeper bu always watching him. One night she is leaving the gym when a terrible storm hits then her car up and dies. Zak to the rescue. This starts their friendship to a hot and heavy relationship. But remember Zak hates liars, Aurora has secrets that she hasn't told Zak about she figures no harm, well she was wrong. Zak knows Aurora is the best thing that ever happened to him but even omission of facts are lies in his book. He has a decision to make their future depends on his actions. This holiday is starting to look gloomy.

Aurora, a first year law associate and Zak, single dad and gym owner. It seems Aurora has been a fan of his for awhile, he is the reason she joined that particular gym. She lives and works on the other side of town, but considers seeing him her "guilty pleasure." A couple of days before Christmas, she stays late at the gym ends up nearly stranded in the parking lot as they have had a major snowstorm. As she is trying to dig her car out, with her bare hands, a large truck pulls up and offers her aid. It is Zak. He digs her car out, but when she tries to start it, it makes a loud noise and starts smoking. Zak offers to take her home, but when he hears the traffic report and considers where she lives, he offers her a room at his house, promising that he is not a creeper, or anything like that. As with all the Single Dad books, I really enjoyed this. Ms. Cox writes some steamy scenes, but one of the best parts of her books is that she is not afraid to talk about sometimes difficult issues. When you read this book, and you should, you will love his kids. Thank you Ms. Cox for the journey into your imagination.

Lately Aurora’s life has been far from easy between school and her family, but she allows herself one luxury and that is her gym membership. If she is honest with herself it is more so she can see Zak rather than a driving desire to exercise. When she encounters a snowstorm, what could have been the worst time of her life turns into the best when the weather causes her to seek shelter with Zak at his home.

Zak was dreading spending Christmas without his kids so having Aurora distract him was a blessing in disguise. What started out as the two them together evolved into a family affair as she becomes close to both Zak and his kids. The only problem is that she wasn’t exactly truthful about what her life is truly like and when truths are revealed and everyone is hurt, will they receive their own Christmas miracle?

Hot chemistry and all the feels this story is certain to put you in the Christmas spirit. It was great to not only see Zak and Aurora’s relationship unfold but to catch up with all the other characters we know and love as well.

There is no better love story than a romance that revolves around the holidays. Aurora has had the hots for Zak for quite sometime, she even goes out of her way to attend the gym across town just to ogle him while he works out. But it takes one snowy night and a dead car to bring the two together. But can you find happiness in such a short time? Will issues that Aurora is trying to overcome going to be too much for Zak to understand? Will Zak once again put his pride and his over protectiveness of his two children ahead of his happiness? The love story might have happened quick but it was written with such genuine emotion that the reader cannot help but fall in love as well. Tia and Aiden were simply adorable children and the way they called out Zak was precious. This was another great addition to the series.

My favourite book of this series so far, although I probably say that everytime as this series just gets better and better. There are times it will have you laughing and times where you will want to cry but most of all you will swoon with love for Zak and Rory.

For the last six months Rory has taken notice of Zac from afar. When a snowstorm causes them to cross paths all her dreams come true and for Zac it's a chance to once again open up his heart after the disaster of his marriage.

Rory finds herself spending the Christmas holidays with Zac and his kids Tia and Aaron who fall in love with her immediately but when a little white lie spirals will Zac be able to forgive Rory or will this be an end to everything they where beginning to build before it's really begun?

Another fantastic installment from the Single Dads of Seattle and I cannot wait to read more.

I enjoyed this new "Single Dads of Seattle" story! Great characters and wonderful story-line! The plot and characters really pull suck you in. Zak and Aurora are so perfect for each other if they can get past the lies and deception. Zak has worked hard to build his business and provide for his family. His wife decided she wanted other things, burning him in the process and now he is a single father of two wonderful kids. Aurura is a new attorney, with major money problems, a sick father and the only things she splurges on for herself is a membership to Zak's gym. She is leaving the gym in the middle of an epic snow storm when he rescues her and offers her a ride and place to stay. As the story develops so does the passion and the lies. This story is fun with some drama, angst and sexiness. A nicely weaved story from beginning to end.

LOVED!! I'm so glad we got Zak's book! I've been so curious about him as I've read the other books in the series. It was interesting to get a deeper look into his life, and I loved watching him & Aurora get together! Man, Zak is one kinky guy! **blushes** I thought it was great seeing him and Aurora both learn to get past their issues and find their HEA. Such a wonderful addition to the series!

PS- That epilogue had me sobbing!!

Very nice

I like this addition to the series a lot. It was definitely sexier and kinkier but still fun and full of heart. I liked Zak a lot and liked the lesson he had to learn about himself. Aurora didn’t have a lot of overcome cause her lie was really harmless (especially considering it was just a fling set up to start) but she did need to work on her confidence. Nice to see Liam calming a little.
