Supernatural Inc. #2

Supernatural Inc. 2

Rate this book
Six months ago, a series of murders brought us together, a trio of beautiful, resourceful women, a smoking hot shapeshifter, and little old me, here on glorious, sunny Shelnora Island. And ever since, we've stuck together, investigating mysteries and living life to its fullest.

But now, a new series of bizarre deaths plague our tropical paradise. Even more terrifying and gruesome than the werewolf killer, with corpses torn apart and stitched back together, missing couples, and a mysterious ancient tome. And through it all, the police seem powerless.

Looks like it's time for Supernatural Inc. to get to the bottom of it all, assuming we don't die in the process!

Another entertaining read! This was a very dark and odd murder mystery, and had quite the ending. I look forward to book three now.

felt close to source but different

The story picks up where the last novel ended with us being show the gang going over things that happen on there last case has we go back into time to see all things that happen to them since we saw them last. The story begins with gang going out for fun do has we know that dosen’t last has mystery skips right into the slasher horror genre for this novel with bodies being found threw-out the island. The gang most figure out who the villain is from the strange decoration group, the ex-sleazy boss, the hippy drug-storiest, or the secretive realtor.

It truly is a great idea for a series you did but you made a few mistakes has you did in the first novel from over lack of details on minor chacthers with the bare minimum of height and hair color if we’re lucky. Do you did get a bit more creative in the action/naughty sections so that kind of balanced it out I guess.

Still as brilliant as ever!

Just as brilliant as the first, with certain nostalgia, but on a whole new dark and he level.

Absolutely loved the book and the series in all is great, with plot twists and turns, until a reveal that you don't typically see coming.

I usually pride myself on predicting the outcomes of books like this, but the revelations and plot twists are well hidden.

Looking forward to book 3!

Such a great story.

The story itself is great being very fun and entertaining. What I love most is how thr usual tropes for female characters are demolished. All four ladies, yes I'm including Sophie in there, are shown as beautiful, smart, and creative. Most stories have the women meeting certain roles and tropes instead. I really love how Delaney's intelligence and experience played key parts in this one.

A great follow up to the series

I am loving this series and this book. A heap of suspects and villains that keeps you guessing till the end. Lots of plot twists and in love that the villain is not as obvious as you expect. The world building and character development is excellent and I am loving all the plot twists. Looking forward to book 3.

The overall mystery presented in the book was very emersive and me guessing until the reveal. Unfortunately, the book contained less intimate scenes than the previous installment. I know that the writer is trying to present a story of intrigue and the mature situations are a bonus but still it is noticable. Still, I recommend this series and can't wait to check out the 3rd installment.

More Mystery Solving

Another fun adventure with Steven and the ladies. Much like it's source material there's some supernatural elements that cause fear to abound. And there's a new mystery at the end without leaving a cliffhanger ending.

Has a nice gimmick but is lacking in substance.

There is nothing really wrong with this, but there is no point where it shows off either. The first one banked on the introduction of the characters, with this one lacking those moments, it was rather dry and boring.

Next

So your "Velma" has a kink! Who knew! Kind of guessed who the evil one was, half wrong. There were only so many characters. Was fun to see them run around in the mystery machine.

Not to Shabby

Fast paced but lacks the needed punch to make it 4 stars. The only supernatural thing so far is Sophie and that's a bit disappointing. Still no answer as to why Stevie is the only one to be able to hear her. Should of planted a few lead ins for the big reveal...

Mystery for people who dont like mysteries

The entire book sucks you in and dont let go until the very end. Im not a big mystery fan but the author writes in a way that keeps you interested and makes you actually want to stay awake at night to finish the book.

While this book is a better mystery than the first book, without some of the silly illogical leaps from the main characters the first book had, it didn't seem to have the fun from the original. Decent over all and still enjoyable.
