Hunter Bates, with assistance, takes on a raging gang of outlaws that terrorizes the locals!
Haven't read a Frank Wheeler story yet that wasn't five stars worthy, and this one goes above five, if it was permissible! No slow downs throughout this compelling series of the good guys trying to win out over an exceptionally aggressive group of scum that punishes everyone they come in contact with! This outstanding descriptive rendition of realistic old American western folklore extravaganzas will certainly appease anyone's desired expectations as the !ore you read the better it gets!
As always Mr. Wheeler's outstanding descriptive storylines successfully portrays compassion by the good guys, as they continuously pursue the cutthroats who consistently undermines

Definitely recommend this outstanding rendition of unending gunfighting adventures, and the fact there are no slow downs throughout the entire series of ongoing gunfighting adventures you will find yourselves unable to put the descriptive renditions aside until the final paragraph has been read! I assure you non-western enthusiasts to find yourselves completely mesmerized from beginning to end!!!😃

Grammar check, please!
It's easy to get confused reading when the characters are confused. Too many times I knew who the speaker was in the story but the villain statement was attributed to the hero! Seems editing is not a priority! A shame. A good story gone wrong.

Good read
A ruthless outlaw gang plans to kidnap the governor of Texas. The leader is holding a man's wife hostage. The man's estranged brother, a duty sheriff, and saloon girl band together to stop the gang.

A great story, but...
I loved the story but all the mistakes and name confusion was a huge distraction.
Maybe a better proofreader?? Disappointed.

Good storyline!
Enjoyed this one! Great story and once again no one got raped! Love these stories which have romance too! Great ending!
