Tragic endings are sprinkled with precious glimmers of hope in this gorgeous collection by Tommy Dean. Brilliantly written, each story lingers long after you’ve turned the final page. Haunting and incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend.
A fantastic collection. These short but powerful stories are all too relevant in today's clime as we face disasters due to climate change or political upheaval. Tommy Dean has channeled the zeitgeist of this era into tiny, gem-like stories, many no more than a page long. Fans of flash and micro fiction will thoroughly enjoy this one.
Great flash fiction collection. Fourteen short pieces that stick in your mind for a long time… I especially keep thinking about “When the Waters Came” and wonder what might have happened next, which is what I love about flash. It’s so brief that you almost get to take ownership of the stories and let your imagination run away with them.
