Aidy Award is a curvy girl who kind of has a thing for stormtroopers. She’s also the author of the popular Curvy Love series and the Dragons Love Curves series. She writes curvy girl erotic romance, about real love, and dirty fun, with happy ever afters because every woman deserves great sex and even better romance, no matter her size, shape, or what the scale says.
Since this is a one-after-the-other/picks up where the last one left off kind of series, I put my review in this last installment to cover the whole series.
I think it had potential based on the premise, but it was honestly a bit sophomoric in the execution and not as well tied together as it could have been. The steam started off nice and hot, but then just kind of fizzled, imo. Felt like with the build-up to the last guy, it would have been explosive, but not so much. Also, she really only hooked up with each of them individually (the others basically jerked off the rest of the time), so no true orgy kind of RH action.
And the "bad guy" really wasn't bad, but it was more of a miscommunication thing, which if these 5 guys were all bffs for many years, you'd think they would have figured it out a little sooner. The "tie in" to how she ended up there and how that person playing into things was ultimately left unanswered/vague and weak. Definitely needed to have more connection in that with stronger ties to make it work.
Just meh overall.
Plot --- 1.5/5 Main Characters --- 2.5/5 Supporting Cast --- 2/5 Steam Level* --- 4/5 (some elements of M/M) Violence --- yes - there are wars and stuff happening; nothing domestic Language --- yes POV --- multiple
*Note that steam level is not a rating so much as a how hot was it: 0/5 - clean; 1/5 - mild (nothing descriptive); 2/5 - 3rd base action/1 home run; 3/5 - now we're getting somewhere (a couple of full-on steamy scenes); 4/5 - yes please! (erotica territory); 5/5 - they did EVERYTHING in this one, y'all
Book 3 of the Claimed by the Seven Realms series has our group trying to usurp the evil Mouse Queen and spread love through the Winter Realm. The story of the Nutcracker has never been told like this before. Crowned brings to cultivation the premise of the Nutcracker with a modern day twist - aka a reverse harem love story with a curvy girl! And trust me when I say, when you meet these princes from the Winter Realm you’ll fall in love with each one of them. I loved this storyline and the three books in this series so much. In my opinion this fantasy series was an exciting, imaginative and sexy retelling of the Nutcracker tale!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the beginning of the first book till the last page of the third, overall it was a wonderful story. Treating all as equal, unified as one made it so no one was better or more powerful than another. Finding each piece of the crown 👑 to each of the Princes realms had them sharing their best traits with each other, building trust, appreciation, and love. Finally no cliffhanger. Reverse harem intimacy 5 M to 1 F. Now......ahem......there are 2 M interactions which some may find uncomfortable and or offensive. Once you see it, it doesn't leave the mind. I chose to look beyond to the unity of the group and the love for each other to make things right for all. Being bonded with each other is the marriage to most romances. Settling into a new home with each other and planning for children is the beginning of a happy ever after. Enjoy 🤓
My oh my and Aidy Award said she wrote out of her comfort zone more like she created a new comfort zone!
The wait is over but you have to read the last book to find out what happens to our 5 princes and their queen…..
There is still a lot of action ahead with more steamy scenes of bonding and then the much awaited bonding of all five consorts with their queen together and in spirit, so expect lots of steam!
Will the mouse queen ever be usurped? Will they break the hold she has on her son? Will the broken animal crown ever be found?
Has our favourite shifter author left the ending open for another adventure?
That remains to be seen…….
I thoroughly enjoyed this reverse harem trilogy although it is not one of my favourite tropes!
I enjoyed reading this story! So much is happening that kept me reading I didn't want it to end! The beginning starts where book 2 Stolen left off with Nuss and Konig with Clara wanting to sooth the anger & broken edges of Nuss & Konig 's relationship. Clara wants to find out what Konig is afraid off and help him so his heart would be free to love again. I was drawn in to find out what is happening with everyone and how they deal with it. Clara bonds with Konig and Nuss but it's not a full bond and so much happens with them and the others and and I love the ending !!!!! I wanted to write more but I didn't want to spoil it for you. I highly recommend this series !!!!!
I enjoyed the conclusion of this story. This book will draw you in and take you along for a journey, as they plan how to take down the mouse queen. I loved to see how Clara continued to grow and overcame her fears to accept what she needed to do. Wow, the sacrifices her men made for her, even if it was acting on their own feelings. This book is steamier than the others, more than my liking, but it was needed for the story. I about fell apart at the end. You have to read it to see how she becomes queen and what happens afterwards. I highly recommend you read this relatively quick engaging read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I accidentally came into this read not having read any of the previous and found mentions of things that had happened annoying, because I wanted to know how the characters tied into each other and how the story had started. Normally I don't read series if I can't start at book one and then carry through to the end, but I have read Aidy Award before and enjoyed her stories. I enjoyed this story, if I look beyond the fact that I missed crucial elements. I loved the characters, the emotion, the adventure. I just wish I knew the start. I recommend Aidy Award's books.
I was so disappointed in this series. I kept pushing on hoping the last book would make up for my frustration with the previous two. For me it was a no. I liked the curvy heroine shtick. I liked the take on The Nutcracker. I pretty much hated everything else. The story got lost along the way. The characters had such potential but were poorly fleshed out. It seemed like the author had so many great ideas but just couldn't get them all lined up right. I will try a different series by her and see if maybe she just overshot with the premise. Fingers crossed!
All of the best love stories have one thing in common, you have to go against the odds to get there...
The Nutcracker has been transformed into a story that is both enchanting and captivating. Five hot sexy Princes take Reverse Harem to a whole new level. Clara and her men all join forces to dethrone the wicked and black-hearted Mouse Queen. This story was original and refreshing. Definitely worth 5 stars for escapism.
A new spin on an old tale of The Nutcracker! I absolutely loved the adventures of Clara and her five prince’s! Watching her learn everything and come into her powers were amazing! All the guys were fantastic and I loved how they all interacted with each other and were so protective and sweet! Amazing trilogy that Aidy nailed! Very sweet and enjoyable! Very highly recommend! I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book
Love this.. Very different, spicy, Christmas story based on the Nutcracker story, really love the story line and mystery mixed with some adventures and laughter and also some very naughty and sexy men, I really adore all the curvy women books where size doesn't matter , we are all beautiful inside and out and hot men love curvy women !! This book was reviewed by a Book Loving Vixen ..
Well, I have to say even though this is out of Aidy Awards comfort zone, she sure did a wonderful job of this genre. Aidy has said she doesn’t know how to cross her two worlds well I think she does because she talked about the mice shifting, her wolves and dragons would fit right in. I love both endings she wrote. Although I have to say the second one is better. Well done Aidy, well done.
This book rocks! In true Aidy fashion, she brings this series to an end in an absolutely fantastic way! Bonds will be formed, truths will be learned and secrets revealed. Clara will find a way to bring them all together and break the spell all while getting the chance to bond with her final consorts. It’s a great conclusion with a bit of sadness but so worth reading!
I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
Cliffy series ends with somewhat satisfying finale. May not be what was expected but I think that's what makes it interesting. Plenty of potential for spin offs but this story had an end and that was nice after the months of cliffys. I've been an ARC reader of this series but that in no way affected my honest reviews.
The third book in the Claimed by the Seven Realms series. This is Clara and her men Zucker, Tau, Nuss, Leb,and Konig's final adventures. The story is well written with a very good storyline, the story flowed smoothly across the pages. The story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this retelling of the Nutcracker. It is so much more fun. More danger, intrigue, magic and definitely hotness. This is a reverse harem romance and are heroine, Clara, will have her hands full and more with these men. The magic in this story really brings it alive. Add in some twists and you have some great surprises. I really hope that Ms. Award will revisit this world with more tales.
This book felt very rushed and like things were missing. I really like the premise, it’s something different I’d never seen before but there seemed to be a lot of things about the characters that were just assumed and never told to the reader and I constantly felt like I had missed something.
This is the conclusion to a fab fantasy romance that's based on the Nutcracker. The whole journey, though, took a wild ride into RH romance, a ton of danger and secrets coming to light. Highly entertaining, I found myself totally whisked away from reality and into the Seven Realms. Good fun!
This is Crowned, book 3 of Claimed By The Seven Realms written by Aidy Award. It’s loosely based on the Nutcracker with a harem of men and lots of action trying to fit all of the pieces together to save them all. It’s hot and steamy and very entertaining. Another great book by Ms Award!
Just did not go the way I hoped. I liked the storyline. The twist and turns were entertaining and unexpected. But the one whom I thought should be the most connected seemed to be the one that had the least. Oh well all ends well, and happy.
This book had so many things in it! It was sweet and loving and then super spicy! It was a beautiful ending of love and selflessness, Aidy has yet to disappoint.
What an ending to an out of this world trilogy!! With a twist here and a twisted there!! What an imagination Aidy has, can’t wait to read more of her magical stories!!!
I really loved this story and I hope Aidy finds a way to tie this into her larger universe. It would be cool if the animals were friends with the wolves.
What a book. Loved the first ending but loved the second one better! Wish did a wonderful job pulling all the parts together. Love this new take on the original!
With some unexpected twists. I really did enjoy Clara’s evolution and the very Christmas appropriate love beats all theme. Plus of course LEB IS AWESOME
