It's nice to not have to be re-introduced to characters :). Some authors go out of their way just in case this was your first of the series to read. Ms. Cronk does this in few sentences, so in case you forgot, or it is your first read...you will be fine. The kids are growing up and have a family of their own. I appreciate that it is somewhat realistic...they don't do too many outlandish things that you only read about in books or see in movies. Everyone can find someone to relate to in these stories. This one had a twist..and I kind of felt like it was glazed over....but it want the main storyline of the book, so I guess that's ok. I will continue to read the series and am off for book 4!

I love this series and really liked this book but I had one problem with this one. It repeated many of the stories from the first two books and having read those before, the repetition was annoying sometimes. I wanted something new! Also, there were many things going on in this book (we were told what was going on which each family) but I wish there were one principal story. I couldn't identify one here but many secondary stories instead.
I still gave this four stars for the following reason: same simple yet fun writing style, same fellowship, same similarities with real life (characters weren't perfect and made mistakes even though they're Christians)… I saw people going away from God and coming back, saw the main character debating his own beliefs (sex before marriage), etc....
I would definitely recommend this book! Just purchased "The other brother".... about to get started now!

This was the third in the series by L.N. Cronk. The first being Chop Chop, second being Day Day. None of them are books you want to miss.

This book hit so many emotions - what a great read.

I was happy, sad, surprised, amazed, blessed.

I have really come to care for these characters.
We continue to follow Dave and Laci but we are lucky enough to get the stories of Mike, Tanner, Charlotte, Jordon, as well.

This books starts out with Dave and Laci back 'home' and adopting a little girl who is deaf, this was really neat because my daughter and I just check out some books on ASL from the library and hope to learn to sign.
Greg, Dave's best friend, who died in the first book is still making a differce even after 10 years.

This author is sly! You think you have at least a hundred more pages left-okay, you WISH there are a hundred pages left-then BAM! It's over. But she ends it a way that doesn't feel rushed...
Okay, now about the book.
Loved it-duh. I love the ending sentence said by TANNER who --------------------------. It's bleeped out because I want you to read it-be sure to read the others first though!
I love Dorito (don't ask)! This series is simply an amazing read for young adults. I mean, because of this book, I want to be a missionary. I don't know how that's going to work out because I love my comforts and comfort food, but hasn't anybody told you that ALL THE TIME, God works things out?
Another good read, L. N.!!!!

Once again, Cronk is the queen of curve balls. So many plot twists that seem to come out of nowhere but make the story that much better. None of these stories are boring! I enjoyed book 3 just as much as the first two and am loving keeping up with the lives and happenings of these characters. The everyday dialogue is fantastic and makes these stories so easy to read and each has a fabulous uplifting message. I can't wait to get started on the next one!

I seriously can not put these books down! I am amazed at how short of a time it takes me to read these books. I can't seem to stop and I want more! My heart is attached to these characters in so many ways and in so many different levels. I can see my own walk with God becoming stronger and more brighter. I have already bought Book 4 and started reading it. So as I leave this review I am going to end this review and get back to book 4.

David & Laci's continuing story of their life together trying to do what God is leading them to do. I like this book because it has to do a lot with friendship and how important those relationships are in life. Liking learning more about the people who have been secondary characters up until now. I look forward to continuing the series and learning more.

Pon, Pon

Excellent read, very shocking to tell the truth. I can't believe Charlotte got pregnant, broke the new boyfriends heart, had the baby, graduated from high school on time, gave the baby up for closed adoption, then makes up with Jake......talk about God working things out for our good....man, I cried through this one. Now, I am ready for book four. Let's go! Great job

Finished this one already too! I am now on the fourth book but I HAVE to get work done so I doubt I will finish it in a day like the other two, lol! But I am in love with these books and hope that L.N. continues to write because she's obviously blessed in her abilities as a writer!

This series is some of the BEST writing I have read in years. Ut's been a while since I read the first in the series, and I have since downliaded the entire series. The continuing saga of David, Laci and now their two children, Doredo and Lily. Run, don't walk

this one came to an end a little more abruptly than I expected, but it is still a nice easy read like the two previous books. and even though they are quick, I should say there are still surprises that keep you turning the pages!

A lot

This book went right in line with the stories from the previous books in this series, it just had a lot go on at once. All the pregnancies and twist and turns in the plot was a lot to follow but it kept you reading.
