I really enjoyed this book from Dr Toni Lindsay!
From the first couple of pages I immediately liked the tone and vibe, and decided that Dr Toni was on my side. The book isn't full of jargon, but rather simple language explaining uncertainty, anxiety, and showing proven strategies that you can put in your tool box. Dr Toni includes stories from oncology patients, which really helps see the real life application of some of these ideas.
Finishing the book I realised that it isn't about living a life without anxiety or uncertainty, but knowing what to do when it crops up (and as I'm sure we all know, this can happen at literally anytime! Gloabl pandemic anyone?! 😅)
I felt very comforted and understood while reading, and would recommend it for anyone who is feeling open to understanding more about uncertainty.

I picked this up from my local library, and it's by an author in my hometown with experience in counselling people facing death from cancer. It is a very short and easy to read book about coping with anxiety. I think the title may mislead people and it may not find the right audience. This is another example of what should be a long magazine article turned into a book. Great if it reaches the right people and helps them.
