Are you hopeful for some hope? Are you hungry for a little happy?
There are times in life when it’s easy to be joyful and there are other times when it’s just plain hard to see the good in anything. Life circumstances come at us fast and, before we even realize it, we start going through our days with an unseen heaviness that weighs on our souls and minds. Wherever you are in your unique story, you’ll find hope, inspiration, and a reason to smile, in this inspirational devotional journal.
Author and artist, Maghon Taylor spreads joy and happiness through her handwriting and words of encouragement. 100 Days of Praise and Positivity is beautifully designed to soothe anxious hearts with a peace that passes all understanding. Each daily meditation begins with an encouraging Bible verse, a short devotion for personal reflection, a fun hand-lettering exercise, and ends with a prompt, “Today, I praise you for…” There is ample space for journaling or your own creative expression. You'll be reminded that God loves you. That He longs to refresh your spirit and renew your heart and mind. This devotional is truly a treat for your soul. It's also the perfect thoughtful gift to bless a loved one or share together in a small group of friends.
Seek your happiness in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desire. – Psalm 23:4 GNT
This was not my favorite devotional that I've done but it definitely holds true to Maghon's mission! It is very positive but also touches on hard topics. There is space to journal, reflect on what you're grateful to, and even a traceable hand-letter exercise for each day.
Reading this simultaneously with New Morning Mercies probably lowered my rating because New Morning Mercies is speaking to me more in this time of my life.
I could not have asked for a be tter 2 for one or maybe even 3 for 1. In one book, I had devotions, lettering practice, and committed more scriptures to memory. I loved this book. It was just right for me and any artist.
