„Wolf Burdened” is the second instalment in Sara Snow’s new series “Wolf Reborn”, which set in her already bestselling “Luna Rising Verse”, a verse that encompasses the present new series, as well as the original “Luna Rising Series” and “The Bloodmoon Wars Series”, all of which are related but remain enclosed in themselves; Thus, is not by any means necessary to have any previous knowledge of the verse to enjoy the “Wolf Reborn” series to its fullest. Nevertheless, the first instalment in this series (Wolf Reborn) should be read, before the present “Wolf Burdened”
Natalie survived her own death, after the rabid attack from a werewolf infected with a rare disease, that drives the affected mad with bloodlust. Good news is that Natalie seems to have not been infected, bad new though that very strange things keep happening since the attack nevertheless, and then the bloodlust begins (so much for ‘good news’). Natalie’s fate is changed forever and soon enough she will become something she cannot even fathom, unless she and her mates succeed in finding the cure before the God Realm is destroyed beyond hope.
As any other book in the “Luna Rising Verse” this is a very well-written tale, with relatable characters, an interesting story-arc, and some new twists around every myth in the book 😊 A fast (but by not means short) read, with a well balanced mix of action and character development, a slow-burn romance, that entices you to devour the book in a couple of bite-size settings, should you possess the strength to put the book down at any given point 😊 All MC characters are likeable and relatable enough and possess distinctive personalities, above them all Natalie, which journey through the afterlife is just a joy to follow. Sara Snow did it again, and here we are once more invested in this new tale and already waiting for the next instalment!
