Abigail only feels safe when Ghost is near… can her love lure him out of the shadows and into the light? Ghost has always been there when the Pride needs him most but lately, he’s been yearning for some place to call home. He’s lost a lot of people close to him but he won’t lose the one woman who’s claimed his soul: Abigail. The time comes to share his ugly past with her and if she runs the other way, he’ll be a broken man but will respect her wishes. What he doesn’t expect is her unfailing love. Ghost resurfaces to the world under a new identity but an old enemy needs to be put down or else Abigail will never be safe. Can he leave his past behind and take Abigail’s hand to forge a peaceful future?

Ghost is an emotional MC romance I simply adored. My heart broke for Ghost and Abigail time and again. I connected with both and the more I read, the more I rooted for them to find their happily ever after. It’s not an easy road for this couple but that’s what made this book so intoxicating. The plot moved at a great pace with gut-wrenching descriptive narration. Some authors shy away from PTSD characters living in the shadows of life but not Ms. Kirkham. Her gift for prose allowed me to experience what it must be like to recover from traumatic events. She writes authentic characters with deep POV and real-life fears, wants, and needs. This author is one of today’s most riveting authors and I can’t wait to read her next book. If you’re an MC romance reader, you need to read Ghost. If biker romances are your reading jam, you’ll be craving more once you read Ghost.

A MUST READ!

I read one of her books out of order and that caused me to go back to the very beginning and read the entire series. When I found out the next book in the series was released, I was chomping at the bit to read it, and let me tell you, it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!

Ghost is in fact, that. A ghost in the night that appears when you need him but disappears just as quickly. The MC, Satan’s Pride, is more than ready to have Ghost return home, but Ghost knows his being anywhere for too long can cause problems for his brothers. And he’s not ready to face everything in his past.

When he went undercover all those years ago, he was running from his past. Things went bad and he knew he’d always be in danger but it was only him to worry about. After helping his brothers go undercover to help the Nostra Casa infiltrate a sex trafficking ring, he never thought his saving Abigail would affect him so much.

He sneaks in under cover of the night to watch over her, be it briefly. She deserves someone who isn’t damaged, who isn’t a ghost, isn’t him. But damn, if he can’t stop thinking of his sweet Abigail Sparrow. She may be sleeping, but when she awakens, she knows he’s been in her house, which is why she left the chair for him to be sit and be comfortable when he stops to watch her sleep.

Ava informs Guard she wants him home for good. He needs to watch his nephews grow up and damn it, she misses him. Guard tells her he’ll do what he can but not be surprised if he says no.

Ghost still has one more job to do before he can return, but he doesn’t want to only be returning to Satan’s Pride. No, this time, he wants to know he has Abigail to return home to. He stops by the library where she works and sneaks in to see her. She sees him and falls in love all over again, just like the first time she saw him, when he rescued her. He asks her if she will be waiting for him if he returns. Abigail is beyond happy to hear he’s returning, be it in another month but she assures him she will be waiting. And to be his.

Ghost returns after his job, but even though his brothers can give him a new identity and a new life, he knows there is one more person who can still bring his world crumbling down, and worse, take Abigail from him. His brothers come to his side to assure him they will go to this final battle with him. While all this is good and fine, he knows he has to tell Abigail his whole story. Will his revelations cause her to run from him? Will all of this be for naught?

AG Kirkham tells her story with such real characters and emotions that the reader is there in the story watching it unfold. A must read if you love romance, rough guys and a HEA. Ghost can be read as a stand alone or in order of the series. Take it from someone who knows, once you read this book, you will go back to read the others. Another win for AG Kirkham.

This was a really cute book! I honestly was expecting a lot more action since it was a Motorcycle Club trope but the storyline flowed well for Ghost's character. There were so many points in this books that I thought were going to lead into some action but ultimately led to something heartfelt instead.
Aptly named, Ghost is a resurrection story that honors lives lost and recognizing that there is an emotional death that comes with grief. The love between Abigail and Ghost was almost instant and at no point did I wonder if they were going to get their happy end. No, I wanted to see how their love spurred both of them to work on healing and becoming better people, together.
I loved their scenes together and with the other members and wives. I did notice that much of the story was dialogue driven and would lose myself in who was talking as the actions or descriptions of characters were not at detailed as I would have liked. Additionally, much of the plot was told to me rather than being described/shown, which could have worked if the dialogue was not the driving force.
This could be read as a standalone but I honestly think that I would have enjoyed the book better if I started with book one, read through the series, and then reviewed Ghost. There were many already established relationships and mentions of past plot that would have made more sense if I had been a continuing reader of the series.

Ghost’s story is one I’ve been waiting for since I started reading A.G Kirkham’s books. Elusive and mysterious but clearly with an incredible sense of loyalty - he is a bit of a lost soul who is grounded in what he feels is right.

Abigail is a sweet woman who endured a terrifying experience and was saved by Ghost, and ever since she has only ever truly relaxed in his presence. She’s unsure but strong and takes pride in her place in the community.

These two settle each other in a way that is both sweet and charming, and I loved watching them trust each other completely and lean into their bond.

As always in these books, the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood are deep. These men and woman have come together to create a safe space for one another to be themselves and to live the lives they love, celebrating together in good times and supporting each other in bad. Found family is one of my favourite themes in character-driven stories, and these books deliver.

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ghost, a man with a violent past but also a man who protects and is ready for those he loves.

Abigail has a history with Ghost as the man who saved her from a trafficking ring. Now, 2 years later, he returns and asks her if she wants him with his past.
She still struggles daily with fears and only with Ghost does she feel safe.

This is the story of Ghost and Abigail in a series in which several men and women of the MC Pride have already found their happiness.
This is a stand alone in a series. It was the first book for me that I read but when other members of the Pride came by you also got a small part of their story so that it came to life for me. Great to read that all men are there for each other and that their women also see everyone as family.

Nice to see that Abigail slowly overcomes her fears and becomes stronger and more confident. And that Ghost leaves his violent past behind and becomes the wonderful partner he is to Abigail but also to the members of MC Pride

In this latest episode of the Pride, Ghost returns home to take his place. He commits not only to the Pride, but also to Abigail. Ghost has a complex past serving time in the military and then doing private contract work where on paper he doesn't exist. He completes one final mission before completing a personal mission dedicated to fellow soldiers who passed away on a mission due to a corrupt commanding officer.

While I enjoyed this book as with the previous books in this series, it would be difficult to read this book as a standalone. There are many characters and it helps knowing their backstories and relationships for this book to make sense. New characters are also introduced and the final chapter sets the reader up for the next book in the series.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review. Each book in the series is a standalone and focuses on the one couple, this one is on Ghost and Abigail. However the other Pride members do make an appearance throughout.

The plot was well thought out, characters well developed and the pace and suspense was just right. There is a strong element of brotherhood and family and it's heart-warming to read about the loving and supportive nature of this motorcycle club.

Chemistry and connection between Ghost and Abigail was sexy and steamy, and the way they understood and supported each other was just touching and loving, and their HEA was perfect. Can't wait to check out the next book in the series.

They call him Ghost because he's gone battling his demons unless the Pride needs him. Then he meets Abby on one of his missions. Satan's Pride takes her in and makes her one of theirs. She also becomes the reason he needs to come home. This tells of the love they share, his love for his brothers in Satan's Pride MC, and the love for the man who saved him when he was a child. The story sucked me in and kept me turning the pages till the end. Well written and edited. I look forward to the next one. This series will stay on my kindle for a re-read in the future. Ghost is FINALLY home!!!!

Ahhhhh!! That ending!!

I can’t wait 😬

Seriously, the series only gets better.

Ghost had intrigued me throughout the series and to discover how everything went down just made my blood boiled!!!!

I was surprised, and along with Guard and his brothers, I was ready for Ghost to end it!!!

How could I have forgotten Abigail? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think my favorite part was the list, well one of my favorites. I have some of the same in mine and although some of the others sound fun I don’t think I’ll ever dare to!!!!

Although I received an ARC copy of this story I read the paperback since a friend gifted to me on my b-day. And this is my voluntary review.

This was just beautiful! A story of true and deep love, forgiveness, redemption, honor and family. Ghost has been lost for so long. Nothing holding him in place except for a fragile tether to his brother Guard. Everything changed when Abigail came into his life. She is everything to him and he is the world to her. I was teary in a few places and then full on crying at the end. Don't worry, its still a happy ending, I just couldn't help but cry over this couple getting the happiness they so deserve, 6 stars!

I really liked the story and finding out the background of Ghost and Guard with Calian. What Ghost did for his brothers in arms with his MC brothers was stellar and lets the reader know how brotherhoods work. The one thing that annoyed me was the nicknames, none of which represented Ghost! The last chapter setting us up for the next book was exciting, so looking forward to book 9 of Satan's Pride!

Wow. Ever since I accidentally came across this series I haven’t been disappointed. Ghost and Abigail each have their own tragic pasts. When he saved her it was almost instant love for her. He finally gives up everything to be with her. Reading how sweet their romance is kind of shocking for this genre but it so fit them. This story has everything including action, romance and steam. Absolutely perfect

I am in awe of this author's talent as she gets better with every new book in this series. This book isn't so much about Satan's Pride, but more about Ghost's journey back to the living and his tribute to the military brothers he lost. While doing so, he also reconnects with Guard, his late mentor and adopted father and also his MC brothers one on one. Abigail is also finding she is a strong person and is able to overcome her fears with the help of Ghost and the Lady Pride. Fantastic book!

In previous books Ghost had only been touched on, he is home now for good and this is his and Abigail's story, it's a great story and is also very touching and emotional, even though all the other books were up there as my favourite, this one surpasses and has become my number one.

I'm looking forward to reading more from the Pride men and their ladies.

Ghost is finally here! This has been of my most anticipated books since he was first mentioned in this series. His story is intriguing and intense and there's no way you cannot love him. Simply put, Guard and Abigails story is just beautiful. He's been in the shadows for so long and for him to find love is heartwarming. What a fantastic story!

a good read

Still needs a proofreader! Still great characters and good story line. Love the fact that this series has a different kind of mc, and the storylines are unique and not the same as other mc books. The mission of going after the “ bad guy” was flat, no drama in the book at all. So over all it was flat, no drama, easy read.

Ghost, a man with no name and Abigail, a scared woman were the perfect fit to be together. I love strong, alpha males who are able to show vulnerabilities and cry. The love scenes were erotic without being vulgar. The commradery among the men and women of the Pride was beautiful to see. Although this is the first book of the series I read it was easy to follow the storyline. I already obtained another book in the series that I have started to read.
I received an advance review copy for free. All opinions are my own and given freely. I highly recommend this book and this series.
