Kimmy doesn't do relationships. She hasn't since her college boyfriend broke her heart freshman year. Almost a decade later, the longest relationship she's had was a weeklong vacation fling with a friend during their lacrosse tournament. Kimmy has very specific rules about the men in her life: she doesn't "date" anyone from her town; she doesn't spend the night; and no one comes to her place. Oh, and she only "dates" athletes, specifically lacrosse players.

Kimmy's best friend and roommate, Bailey, used to live by similar rules until a tattoo-covered, dirty-talking MC Road Captain changed her mind about commitment. Now Kimmy and Bailey are spending Valentine's weekend in San Diego with Tucker and his MC friends, or brothers, whatever they're called. Kimmy knows nothing about MC life.

Tucker's MC is providing security at a fundraiser concert benefiting the local children's hospital. The same hospital that saved Kimmy's life as an infant when she needed pediatric open-heart surgery. There was no way she could turn down the invitation to attend. When the lead singer of the 80s cover band is a no-show, Bailey tells the guitarist that Kimmy used to sing in a cover band in college and may be willing to help.

Kimmy hasn't stepped foot on stage in over five years, but how can she say no when this fundraiser is specifically for the cardiac wing. She gathers her nerves, downs a cocktail, and heads for the stage with the setlist in hand. As soon as her eyes lock on the guitarist during their duet, she knows she's in trouble. Mr. long hair, guitar player, with the swoony voice just might make her change her mind about things like spending the night, seeing each other again, and commitment.

Got this book during “stuff your kindle day” thought it would be a cute little read while I decided on my next book, it was okay.. literally. Overall it was rushed even for a novella. I gave it a 2 star because it had potential just wasn’t what I was personally expecting

This is the 1st book I've read written by Sophie Masters; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is part of the Naughty Holiday Novella Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Kimmy & Spencer; she’s never believed in love after her boyfriend broke her heart her freshman year of college. She’s spending the weekend with Bailey & Tucker; who is providing security for a fundraiser for the local children’s hospital; the same hospital that saved her life when she was an infant. When the band scheduled to perform had their lead singer is a no show Tucker tells them that she used to sing in a band in college; she agrees to help out and as soon as she steps on stage to do a duet with the guitarist she knows she in trouble.

This was a great short read! Kimmy and Spencer do not believe in love. That is, until they meet each other! They both feel drawn to each other but the reality is that they live 7 hours apart. Kimmy admits that she would love to work at the same hospital that Spencer works at because she was a patient there as a child.
Spencer offers to help her but not pull any strings for her. Kimmy accepts his offer. They spend Valentine’s Day together and they thoroughly enjoy themselves. It does not take them long to realize that live does exist for them! They get their HEA!
This is my first book by this author but I will definitely be seeking out her other books!!!

A Cute Delicious Romance


This is an adorable instalove read! Kimmy and Spencer have to wind their way through her rules and a lot of twists and turns to make it. The writing and chemistry between Kimmy and Spencer is good, and I liked the secondary characters. I got all the feels with the ending and epilogue, and I wish it were longer. This is a good quick read for when you don't have a lot of time, but you want a delightful romance.

Kimmy and Spencer, or Nate, are not a traditional second chance but they are a meet again story. I love how smart and hard working Kimmynis and how she wants to pay it forward for her childhood health treatment. I love how Nate is able to decide in almost moments what his greatest desire is and how his life can be better. This story is inatalove, fast paced and well written. It is an enjoyable lunch hour read.

This was a cute and steamy instalove romance. I liked the storyline but I needed a bit more from the characters. I didn’t feel like I got a clear sense of them or their connection. But it was a cute story with a lot of steam which I liked.

Unexpected journey

Kimmy went to the fundraiser at the hospital she had heart surgery when she was 5six years old. When there she happens to meet Spencer. The ten year old boy who kept her company while in the hospital twenty plus years ago. This brought them together again where love bloomed. Happy Valentine's Day!

Kimmy and Spencer's story was a dream. Childhood crushes who lost touch unexpectedly reunited. Instant chemistry with these two. It's a valentines love story with heart,humor and passion.
