The opening race of the MFG season enters its second and final lap. Kanata Katagiri, student of the legendary Takumi Fujiwara, is playing catch-up with the monster sports cars of the Divine Fifteen--and his incomprehensible skills are shocking the audience, the commentators, and the racers themselves.
Shuichi Shigeno (Japanese author profile: しげの秀一) is a manga artist, best known for the manga series Initial D. Shigeno has also created Bari Bari Densetsu, Dopkan, and Tunnel Nuketara Sky Blue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. In 1985, he received the Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen for Bari Bari Densetsu.
I couldn't be bothered to stop and review this morning, so binge read volumes 1-5. The story blended and I have no idea where each book starts and stops. Racing, the MC on a journey to find his father and the angel number 7 high schooler hopelessly in love. The german guy annoys me. If racing is boring, go away.
