The Management of Systems of Information has evolved significantly in recent decades and, in particular, the Project Management of Systems Information has been the target of heavy investment in methodologies and tools. Despite this, the success rate of projects in this area and the promised increase in profitability of organizations remains below the expectations created.Benefit Management complements the traditional Project Management discipline, which looks only at its varying scope, cost, time and quality. In Benefits Management, projects are managed from the outside in. This means that the results are set out in the beginning of the project and analyzed for the their development, in order to ensure correct implementation or to examine its actual need.This dissertation intends to study the specific case of a complex program of an organization, demonstrating that this methodology of Benefits Management can contribute decisively to increase the desired results.
