This was an amazing love story about three people, Chris, Kassidy and Dag struggling to make a their relationship work, despite general disapproval and Chris's family, steamy ménage sex scenes and Some hot M/M action too!

Well that was a really long epilogue of Rule of Three...
Rhythm of Three immediately follows from Rule of Three. Chris is still dealing with his newfound feelings for Dag plus his parents are coming in for a visit for a week while Kassidy made the mistake of telling her loose-tongued best friend about their poly relationship.
Other than a couple scorching threesomes and a bonus M/M scene, I thought this was a bit pointless and unnecessary although I enjoyed reading about this three.

Rhythm of Three is book two in this series and it takes place right where book one, Rule of Three, ended. This was a wonderful edition for those of you who LOVED Rule of Three.
Rhythm of Three takes us further into the journey of Dag, Chris and Kassidy's polyamorous relationship. It dealt with many issues that these three went through because of this. When it came time to tell their family and friends, I thought they did a good job of dealing with all the different reactions.
These three were madly in love and I TOTALLY felt it! They had each other’s backs and always thought about each other’s feelings, and also their wants and needs. No jealousy here, they loved and trusted each other fully. I felt this added to the overall romance of the story quite well.
With this being a ménage book, the heat was SCORCHING! I LOVED the scenes where Dag and Chris made love, even when Kassidy was not there. There were quite a few love scenes for such a short read and Kelly Jamieson sure knows how to pen them, they had me all heated up and squirming while I read.
At the end it fast forwards one year and we get a small peak into what they have been up too. No epilogue, but I felt there was no need for one here. I LOVED Dag, Chris and Kassidy together and I’m happy to say that book three, Reward of Three will be released July 8th. I’m VERY invested in these three characters and can hardly wait to read where their relationship will go next.
I highly recommend Rhythm of Three to those of you who have read book one, Rule of Three and loved it. If you LOVE reading a SCORCHING ménage with really good characters that share an all consuming love, then I hope you give this series a try.

This was a short follow up on the poly romance between that started in Rule of Three. Well written w/the multi-POV. Story wise, was spent dealing w/Chris' coming to term about his new found relationship. Epilogue was what I expected the actual book to deal w/.
The menage scene was O-Kay. The sizzler was Chris taking off the training wheels and having his moment w/Dag sans Kassidy.
Also must point out this book ended w/epilogue included @ 87%. If you've read my reviews it my big bugaboo.
I still am hoping for a continuation of this budding romance into a growing family.

same things i said about book #1 apply here. fast, nice, a bit problematic, a bit too superficial, i didn’t really read all the threesomes because sex scenes bore me, but we can’t ask much now can we

When I finished Rule of Three by Kelly Jamieson I immediately thought, I want more. I do this often, but there was just something about Kassidy, Chris and Dag that I couldn’t let go and while they were headed in the right direction in the first book it was a very new relationship and my brain just couldn’t leave it alone. I like so many other of Kelly’s fans (more like fanatics) bugged her enough that she decided to continue their story and I didn’t think I could love Kassidy, Chris, and Dag anymore but Kelly Jamieson proved to me once again why she’s on my must read, must buy, must stalk author list. Rhythm of Three starts up basically where the first book left off; their relationship (triad) is brand new. They are still trying to figure out the ends and outs and no one but the three of them and Kassidy’s sister knows anything about them.
It was so easy to jump into this book because the last one left me wanting more and I was captivated by the way they discussed and worked through their problems. I love that both Dag and Kassidy called Chris out on his inability to share his feelings and fears. The fact that we see what each of them are thinking and feeling and the insecurities they all face as they move forward in this unique relationship.
There were many defining moments in this story, many incidents that had each of them wondering if the relationship was worth the risk. Thankfully their bond is strong and they are able to move past the outside forces that seem determined to drive them apart.
It was satisfying watching the relationship between Kassidy and Dag grow and develop and even more intriguing was the relationship between Chris and Dag. Plus the three of them together, holy hotness! Kelly Jamieson knows how to write sex scenes and in this book she goes above and beyond and then some.
While Rule of Three ended in a good place, I’m so happy that Kelly continued this story. It’s like getting a big bonus mother of all epilogues and it is amazingly wonderful. Rhythm of Three will pull you in and take hold of you much like the love between Kassidy, Chris, and Dag. Enjoy, I know I did!

Meh. I feel this is why some books are better left off as a standalone, rather than trying to stretch the story into something more. This could have been a few chapters added to the first book, really.
This polyamorous relationship turned utterly sappy in this sequel. And honestly, I'm not sure why poor Kassidy is involved. She is an okay character, but I feel like if she was removed from the story & it focused purely on Chris & Dag -- it would have been better, overall. I did enjoy seeing more of their relationship. To me, those two seem to be the ones that are completely in love & would be the more interesting relationship! But then? Then it isn't as risqué with the supposed untraditional relationship.
Either way -- they are quick reads & there were some hot scenes. Done.

This was a bit disappointing. They all had sex a couple of times, one set of parents learned of their polyamorous set up (and it went down like a fart in church,) then that was it. The epilogue - that kicked in at less than 90% - updated on a few things that I would've enjoyed reading in full, so not sure why it was skimmed over and not told properly. In all, this took much less than an hour to read, but it was priced as a full length story. My own daft fault for not checking, but I still feel a bit ripped off and feel this could easily have been part of the first book.
There's a third book but I'm too naffed off by this experience to buy any more.

I'm really biased against books that are broken up into parts like this, it so rarely works out for me. Here we have all these pages to show them settling into life together and coming out to their family and friends. A whole lot of angst and drama for nothing IMO. If family or friends can't support you being in a loving and healthy relationship because it isn't what "they" think is best then fuck 'em..... The mcs could've used that lesson

This could have been a nice and needed follow-up to the first book. But it seemed rushed and left me wanting... There was a lot of potential but obviously not enough time or enthusiasm to really deal with it

This was a pretty good story. This story is a continuation of book #1 in the series, Rule of Three and I would highly suggest reading Rule of Three before reading this book. There is some background of what happened in the first book given in this book but I really feel like you'd feel like you're missing stuff if you didn't read book #1 first.
This book picks up immediately after Rule of Three ends. It basically involves seeing Kass, Chris and Dag learn to live together as a trio and some of the trial and tribulations that go along with their unusual relationship. There are mixed reactions that they have to deal with as family and friends are told about their relationship. They also have some work to do on figuring out how they integrate together and deal with each other. It was a good read and I enjoyed seeing how the threesome progressed as they start their HEA.
Very enjoyable story. I'd recommend it for anyone that's read Rule of Three and liked it. :D

I enjoyed this second book much better than the first because Dag, my favorite character of the three, got some much deserved special attention whereas in the first book he really was the third wheel.
There was more equality in their relationship here too which was nice to see, but how things worked out seemed unrealistic – especially how their friends took the news so easily. Everything was sort of wrapped up in a nice, happy, tidy ribbon. In the world of fiction this was nice but if I try to relate it to real life – not so much.
Maybe I’m naïve, but I still think threesomes are not as common as this book is making it out to be. Anyway, more love in any form never hurt anyone..and even though this book gave us a HEA it seems like they have a WHOLE lot more hardships that were not realistically addressed here – in terms of their future and kids. That was okay with me though because Dag finally has his family, a place he belongs, and the love he deserves.

I (like many) were itching to know what happened to Kass, Dag & Chris... It was SOOO great reading about them again (and HOT too)!!! Not as great as the 1st book but still great; well-written, extremely hard to put down, gripping, engaging and wonderful! If I had known that this picked up exactly where book #1 ended (which is awesome), I would've re-read or at least skimmed the end of Rule of Three to get my head back into the emotional mindset of what was going on. I still loved this book even though it had been awhile since I read book #1. The only downside I found in this book was that it seemed that the author wanted the series to be DONE. There was an epilogue that summarized a lot of details that would have created many great chapters or maybe even a 3rd book had they been written about in detail. Now I am sad again that the series is over, wishing there could be more...

I know I'm a minority...please don't kill me. I didn't felt the magic that I felt from the first book. Yes, the sexual tension is off the charts but I really felt disconnected.
Why? I lost it when Dag, Chris and Kass had their first discussion after Dag and Chris coming out about their sexuality. Especially the lines where Dag said - if he loves Chris and Chris also loves him...maybe he can also love Kass. It totally kill my buzz for this story.
It made me feel like Kass was the sympathy case in that relationship. Like Chris was using Kass as the safety net when he is with Dag. And that for me is bad. When you in a Menage relationship...I don't think there should be the idea of 'trying to love' or 'am falling in love'. What they are practising are already as intimate and personal with each other and the feeling should have developed between them without having to justify it.

Oh, I love these characters. Thank you Kelly Jamieson for bringing them back.
This short story was a continuation of Rule of Three and picks up right after the previous book left out. A great examination of how to deal with a triad - not only with those outside the relationship but also within the relationship. I loved how each of the three had a bit of growth so that they could fit into these roles. And I loved how it showed the good reactions with the bad reactions of those around them.

I was quite disappointed in this book considering the first one was so good, I just didn't feel the connection between Chris, Dag & Kassidy they never seemed to be on the same page kept making decisions without discussing with the other 2, the issues could of been explored a bit better than just skirting over them especially with Chris not feeling comfortable to be intimate with Dag without Kassidy being there, even the steamy scenes lacked something.
All in all it was an ok book but it really was not as good as first book unfortunately

I was so excited when I heard that we were going to be getting more of Dag, Chris and Kassidy. Their story continues pretty much right when book 1 ends and Kelly takes you on their journey as they struggle making their relationship work. I love the connections with these three characters and I love seeing how Chris tries to open up more. And of course we get more hot and steamy sex between this trio. Kelly definitely knocked it out of the park with this one and I totally don't want this trio to end.

Another installment with great character development. Chris seems to be struggling the most of the three of them, so it's awesome to see the author develop him and help him find solutions to his personal issues.

This is the second book in a series of three. They should be read in order.
Kassidy, Chris and Dag are now in a relationship and they struggle with the thought of telling others.
Once again Kelly Jamieson writes some hot, steamy and kinky scenes. I get more invested in the characters. I love the way Chris and Dag are together and the things they do to each other. It makes my mind run wild.
During Chris's birthday party he is given 'Viagra' type pills. The conversation between the friends was so funny. I was laughing out loud and had to read that part to my husband.
When Chris's parents came to visit my heart once again went out to Dag. I just love that guy, a bad boy with a heart of gold and would do anything for the ones he loves.
My only gripe with the book is the amount of times they all tell each other that they love each other. Ya, I get it you want to show how much they care about each other but it just was a little much. At one point I thought about counting how many times they tel each other.

When Chris's parents came to visit my heart once again went out to Dag. I just love that guy, a bad boy with a heart of gold and would do anything for the ones he loves.
My only gripe with the book is the amount of times they all tell each other that they love each other. Ya, I get it you want to show how much they care about each other but it just was a little much. At one point I thought about counting how many times they tel each other.

Book 2 continues right where 1 left off. It's the morning after their makeup sex and decision to be a polyamorous couple. Still not ready to tell the world about their status, choosing to just left the relationship flourish and take things as they come. Letting people know as the situations arise... but wouldn't you know, situations arise faster than anticipated... figuring Chris's parents, needed to be told the least, based on 2 things: them living in Florida and how the Dad handled a situation in Chris's youth. Next thing you know the "rents" are coming to town for Chris's birthday. Due to a series of events, more people have to be clued in. One by one, their secret is being shared, escalating to telling Chris's parents. The parents' freak out, causes everyone's doubts to arise, but in the end they realize what they have is more important than anything else and worth fighting for. A good love story, showing the growth and the trials and tribulations along the way... along with some steamy hot and loving, emotional sex.

Extended Epilogue
I had been really looking forward to reading this book but it just felt like it was an extended epilogue to book 1.
Dag has moved in with Kassidy and Chris and they are finding their rhythm as a threesome, but have all the angst of telling their family and friends.
I was surprised Kassidy told her friend as she hadn't been a feature in book 1 so I didn't think she was that good a friend but that's my opinion.
It was clear that Chris's family would struggle and I loved Dag so much more when he defended both Chris and Kassidy to Chris's parents but then wanted to cry when he walked away. Of course he came back (phew)
I felt parts of the story were missing, for a trio who agreed they needed to talk they were suddenly buying a new home at the end of the book but I wanted to know who was paying for what.
I think Dag is my favourite member of this trio and one of the best parts of this book for me is when he and Chris actually got some time alone together to explore their feelings

January 27, 2022Kelly Jamieson nailed in the first of the series, Rule of Three. It was a fantastic hot menage story and the characters stuck in my head for many months after reading it. I was dying for more after finishing the book. In #2, the story continues but is more focused on the trials and tribulations of the triad. Chris continues to struggle emotionally with his attraction to Dag. All three have to address issues of how the triad is perceived by friends and family. I would have liked a little more dialog about how each was struggling with issues. Considering the fact that men in general aren’t that vocal about their feelings, perhaps that would have been too feminine. Or maybe I’m just greedy and always want to know more about the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the final installment, Reward of Three.

Mmn rien de bien nouveau dans ce second tome... Probablement parce qu'il se situe directement après le premier. En fait... Il était long et sans réel objectif. Bon, on essai de nous faire comprendre que tout le monde ne peut pas accepter une relation polyamoureuse, ce qui est bien hein, mais c'était sans grand intérêt.
On tente de créer quelques conflits entre les personnages / des situations de crise, mais c'est un peu - voir beaucoup - stupide. C'est du drame inutile.
Bref, je crois que ce tome aurait pu être simplement un épilogue au premier tome, ou bien être une partie du second. Et puis, franchement, il faut diminuer les scènes coquines. J'en étais à lire en diagonale en soupirant... Ahem.
On tente de créer quelques conflits entre les personnages / des situations de crise, mais c'est un peu - voir beaucoup - stupide. C'est du drame inutile.

Love this series!
I heard the first in the series on Audible and it is one of the very few books that I have replayed certain parts of over and over again.
This is a continuance of the three characters’ stories and real life struggles as they continue to make their relationship more permanent and deal with the opinions of others as they begin to share with people around them.
The sex is HOT and this book is full of firsts for all three characters, things not explored in the first book, but never is there respect lacking for any of the people involved.
Amazing writing, editing, creativity and characters. Can’t wait to start the next book!

Decepcionante. Si el anterior fue lo mismo de siempre este es mucho peor.
Había partes de la trama que se extendían bastante mientras que otras solo eran mencionadas de pasada.
Por la sinopsis pensé que el asunto con la amiga de Kass iba a tener mayor trascendencia, cosa que no pasó. Fue una embarradita dentro de un capitulo y ya .
Me parece que tenía por donde explotar el tema y hacer interesante los retos a los que se enfrenta la triada. Lo más realista fue la parte de los papás de Chris.
