Cole Cassidy finds himself in Bucharest, Romania.

He’s following Jean-Baptiste Augustin. Cole is impressed by Baptiste’s evasive tactics; the man knows he’s being tracked.

Baptiste is a former Talon man. We get the story of his time in the Caribbean Coalition. He worked for Talon, but he left once he caught on to their nefarious ways. Now Baptiste is actively evading all Talon pursuers.

Cool action sequences, and nice fights.

Is he truly fleeing Talon, or is he one of their undercover agents? And can Cole trust Baptiste?

Enter: Baptiste.

Haven't played this healer yet but seems like a good guy. Will try him soon. So the story continues as Cassidy tries to go his way, Baptiste following him and they get introduced with some fight.

Solid issue, even though nothing really happens, no real progress to the story and it's sad because it's only 5-6 issues. Hope it picks up on the next one.

+1 for the amazing artwork!

This comic book is an outstanding installment that seamlessly blends character development, action, and emotional depth and as always this comic book continues to expand the Overwatch universe, delivering a story that is both engaging and thought-provoking.

The narrative of this comic book follows Cole Cassidy as he undertakes the challenging task of rebuilding the Overwatch team. Fawkes masterfully explores Cassidy’s journey, highlighting his leadership skills and the weight of his past decisions. This issue delves deeper into Cassidy’s character, showcasing his resilience and the complexities of his role in the evolving team dynamic.

The character interactions are a highlight of this comic book. Fawkes skillfully portrays the nuanced relationships between Cassidy and his potential recruits. Each encounter is rich with tension and camaraderie, offering insights into the characters’ backgrounds and motivations. The dialogue is sharp and authentic, capturing the essence of each character while advancing the plot.

Irene Koh’s artwork is a visual delight, bringing the Overwatch world to life with vivid colors and dynamic compositions. Her ability to convey emotion through detailed expressions and body language adds an extra layer of depth to the story. The action sequences are particularly well-executed, capturing the energy and excitement that fans expect from Overwatch.

The pacing of this comic book is expertly managed, balancing adrenaline-pumping action with quieter, introspective moments. This balance keeps the story engaging from start to finish, allowing us as readers to invest fully in both the narrative and the characters’ journeys. The seamless transition between high-stakes battles and personal reflections enhances the overall impact of the issue.

The standout feature of this comic book is its exploration of themes such as redemption, identity, and the power of teamwork.
