Which is exactly why I’ve kept my feelings for Tucker a secret.
At least until I went and drunk dialed him… and proceeded to word-vomit everything I’ve tucked away for the last however many years. Including how I wouldn’t mind if he rocked my world, even if just once. Although, of course, I’d prefer a lifetime of his affection.
But that’s not the point.
That message? Yeah, he heard it. Every drunken detail.
But when Tuck catches me in the act and admits to listening to my message more than once, I quickly find out that what's between us is so much more than just a drunk dial.

Ignoring your feelings to avoid upsetting someone, hurts you.
This was my first story by this author and I really liked it a lot. I’m going to have to check out more of her books. It was an entertaining and enjoyable story. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Myles was not my favorite just from how he acted and talked but it was way worse later. Mackenzie and Tucker were great together. The way that he teased her about the call she had made and the message had me laughing out loud. I loved that Tucker and Mackenzie communicated with each other about their feelings. Tucker and Mackenzie got a wonderful happily ever after although I wish there was an epilogue a little further out. I recommend reading this book.
Ok so I'm giving this a 5 star rating ing with the 4.5 as a secondary... What I mean is, because my personal preference (for reasons I don't really understand) I'm not a fan of " brothers bestfriend/ little sister of best friend " trope in general... For some reason the principle formula for that story line bothers me, so I had to give this an extra star on Account of I really loved this story enough that despite its theme having a strike against it at the start, it was good enough that this tropes usual plot points didn't bother me and further, I just really loved this story and this couple !
This is a sweet and sexy brother’s best friend novella with a side of secret drama. Mackenzie has had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Tucker, since she was in third grade. Tucker has also had a thing for Mackenzie for years. Their journey from a drunk voice mail to forever is a fun, sexy, fairly low angst journey. While short, the writing was good, the characters were fairly well developed, and the storyline was engaging. 3.5 stars
Quick, fast paced brothers best friend romance… Mackenzie has been in love with her brothers best friend all her life. One drunken night she leaves a ver pay explicit voicemail setting off a rapid chain of events. Trucker has always wanted his best friends sister and was trying to abide the bro code ….until he received that crazy hot voicemail from the woman of his dreams. Tucker and Mackenzie have a whirlwind romance with hot sexy times and a sort of rushed ending and HEA epilogue.
I enjoyed reading Drunk Dial: A Man of the Month Club!!! All about McKenzie A women in her late twenties & Tucker Holden a bartender and wine connoisseur. Kenzie is out with her BFF’s on Valentines Day, cause the guy she had a date with ghosted her when the check came!!! The girls are drowning their sorrows in there favorite wine, since it’s also National Wine Day!!! Read about Kenzie & Tucker and see how sneaking around works out for them!!! Lots of emotions running throughout this page turning book!!! Definite Read!!!!
Language is too rough for a stories in this series. Plot ok but this “ bro code” of not dating a younger sister is ludicrous in this time period. The brother, a one nite stand player, is a gigantic hypocrite! I have read all the Man of the Month novellas and this is the poorest entry. I am a reader of many books over many years and have read many great books. I do not like to give a poor rating but had no option with this book.
Enjoyed reading this story, the closeness of Mackenzie and her friends, the places she and Tucker visit, her brother's reaction and her parents were great. Mackenzie and Tucker have known each all her life because he's her brothers best friend. Things get a little dicey when they reveal their relationship to her brother. Read what happens. Written by Cindy :)
Mackenzie got more than she could've ever hoped for with a drink dial she made.
Tucker was Mckenzie's brother 's best friend.....But he loves his sister. See the conflict.....neither do I but.....it's will be boys and in order for Tucker to be with her he'd need to break the bro code or whatever they call it. Geez men are so complicated...lol
This is a truly sweet story and I adored the characters. Kinda curious if Myles has his own story out there?
This book will make you laugh out loud and fall hard for these amazing characters! Mackenzie is so likable she is smart, funny, and in love with her brother's best friend Tucker!
Tucker has wanted Mackenzie for many years now and he will not pass up the opportunity to claim her. He knows Myles is going to be upset but he's not going to give up the woman he loves. You will devour their story. Enjoy because it's a great read. Happy Reading!!
Who knew several bottles of wine could score Kenzie her long time crush. Yes, he's her brother's best friend, but some things are just ment to be. Myles didn't handle their announcement well but there's hope. Tucker finally stepped up to claim Mackenzie after he defied the bro code.
Oh my goodness I loved this book! I seriously read it start to finish in one afternoon. I couldn’t stop. I love stories like this - the exciting chase, the flirting and then the connection. This book is hot and steamy!! Funny and witty. I loved every word and everything about this book!!
Loved loved loved this book .. From start to finish . she has been in love with her brothers best friend forever and he has been in love with her , one night she gets drunk and calls him and spills her secrets and then some .. From there they find their HAE .. With some bumps in the road
Really enjoyed this novella, part of the Man Of The Month Club. When Mackenzie drunk dials Tucker, her brother's best friend, sparks fly. I really loved their chemistry, and I would love to read more about Myles, as although I found his reaction excessive, the author hints at deeper emotions.
Tuck is McKenzie's brother's best friend. They are each attracted but are keeping it hidden or just doesn't realize it until one night Kenzie has a few too many and her friends goad her into making a call. This story is a slow burn with chemistry that is off the charts. I like how sweet Tuck is to Kenz and how she is so cute and awkward at times. Her brother is a jerk.
The OTT reaction of brother and the sneaking around felt very high school. Plus mmc punching a wall. Red flag! Explosively violent men aren’t cute or sexy.
Making fun of a date still living at home with parents really shows the author’s age, too.
This short and steamy novella packs a great plot with great characters. Tucker is caveman hot and the issues these two faces make you devour the book in one sitting. Brothers best friend to lovers a wine-drinking drunk dial great world building wonderful loveable characters
Enjoyed Tucker and McKennize’s story start to finish. I’m from Texas, and while you didn’t name the town the couple visited I’m guessing it was Fredricksburg. Good morning coffee read.
Very quick read. I found this story lacking any real substance. The drama with the brother was a little over the top and done weirdly in my opinion. I guess the whole book just seemed off to me. More like it was a draft and it needed more added.
I loved the premise of this novella; a drunken phone call to bring Tucker and Mackenzie together. There were a few loose ends (like how Tucker never questioned the pregnancy test from the beginning of the story) and several distracting typos.
This story is a quick "snack", but it felt complete. I liked the characters, mostly. Mackenzie's friends are funny but the message she sent from drunk dialing is what got her more than she bargained for. The story alternates between Tucker and MacKenzie. It was easy to envision the story. Rainy day read with no cheating and a HEA. There is lots of swearing, dirty talk and adult moments.
Brother’s best friend novella part of the man of the month series. It all started with a drunk voicemail & the rest is history … “are you man enough to do something about it.”
Out of the entire series (that I’ve read so far) I ended up liking this one more than the others. Although, do for sure wish there was more to the story as well.
