I’m in trouble from the moment I find my mate...

After breaking things off with my abusive ex, I needed somewhere safe to rebuild my life, and you don’t get any safer than living with a group of protective bear shifters.

When Trey comes home from college, we know right away that we’re mates. He used to be a rebel, but now he’s determined to make up for his past mistakes and prove himself to his clan—and to me. Even with my relationship history, it’s hard to resist a bear that hot and sweet.

Then a baby is left on his doorstep and things get complicated fast. I also make the mistake of bumping into my ex-boyfriend, Harlem, who has just been released from prison and is still as dangerous as I remember. Maybe Trey and I aren't fated to be together after all, but Trey's bear isn't going to give up without a fight...

STORY:
WHAT I LIKED:
I am crazy in love with Trey and Polly’s chemistry in the beginning of this book. Trey is a bear shifter and Polly is human. Polly was awe struck when she saw Trey and was so shy that she literally was tripping over herself and things. Trey was sexy and charming and his ogling of Polly and sexiness was a prefect fit to her shyness. They were young and trying to figure things out and that’s what made it interesting for me. The storyline wasn’t wow, but I find myself very much entertained.

WHAT WAS SO SO:
It’s not hardcore biker/mc theme, but still liked the gang.

SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
Can I just say, Polly’s definition of claiming, was hilarious to me during sex but more what she thought it was after sex. I enjoyed their sex scenes as their chemistry made it steamy enough for me. Wish there was more though.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I have only read book 1 with Grizz and Zoey and enjoyed seeing them again in book 5. But even with just reading book 1, I am familiar with other characters and plan on reading their stories as well.

OVERALL:
Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.

TRIGGERS:

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

This is the fifth and final book in the Bears of Forest Heights.

Trey, the youngest Allen clan bear shifter has found his mate. The book mostly tries to clean up a few loose ends that started in the fourth book and also watch the relationship between Polly and Trey grow.

Polly and Trey have a courtship which is pretty fast. I wasn’t a big fan of Polly. Their was a situation about the mating claim and the fact that she ran afterwards. She didn’t full understand the implications. Try was a nice hero and I felt a bit sorry for him.

As things go its another quick read. The writing is not good nor bad, just is.

Biker Bears Redemption was an ok read. It's something to pass the time.

'Biker Bear's Redemption' by Roxie Ray is the fifth book in her Bears Of Forest Heights series and tells the story of Trey, a bear shifter and youngest brother, and Polly, who has moved to town to get away from an abusive boyfriend. Trey had been away in college for the last year. Although it was a shifter college the rules were very stringent on when students could shift and neither Trey or his bear were happy there. Trey was hoping to be able to come home and finish college online, although he was nervous about what his brothers' would think. Additionally, he wanted to find the owner with the seductive scent he smelled last year. On the first big clan event after Trey's return he smelled the scent of his future mate. It was Polly, a friend of Rogue's wife, Misty and she was watching the younger cubs in the clubhouse while the parents enjoyed some alone time. Trey decided to join her for a movie and maybe a snuggle.

Polly really liked Forest Heights and had made a lot of friends. She was finally feeling safe from Harlem, her ex who was in jail, and getting her life back on track. She was great with the children and had become the de facto babysitter. Polly was setting up the movie for the older kids when Trey walked into the clubhouse. Just like when she first met him Polly was flustered but tried not to show it. Trey could scent Polly's anxiety but also her arousal. He knew she was the one for him. Now he just had to take it nice and slow to make her his forever.

Ms. Ray has written a compelling addition to her series. Having a surprise baby show up was a great twist. This story has humor, trust issues, scary exs, laughs, and passion. I know this is supposed to be the last book in the series but Sin needs a story and Dax needs a mate. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama with their romance.

Biker Bears Redemption
Bears of Forest Heights #5
Trey and Polly

The final book in the series has the youngest Allen brother finding his mate.

When this series started, Trey was not the most liked or trusted of the clan. He was the main reason his young nephew was kidnapped. But since then he has done a complete turn around. He’s grown up and is working to better himself. On the night he’s set to head off to college, he finds his mate.
Polly showed up in the last book. She had the unfortunate luck to share a nasty, abusive ex with Misty. Misty and her mate have taken her under her wing, helping her move forward and heal. Now she’s living at the bears compound, serving as the nanny for their kids.
Trey returns home after a year away. Wanting to get to know his mate and see where things go. To his delight, Polly seems on board with the plan, and things move quickly.
After living around the bears, and spending time with the ladies, Polly thinks she has a pretty good understanding of how shifter life works. Boy was she wrong.
When she realizes her mistake, this sends her into a panic. And of course she runs.
While she’s away, a little surprise bundle shows up with Trey’s name attached.
When you add in a rogue shifter clan, and an ex with revenge on his agenda it was an entertaining read.
I loved Trey. He grew up a lot, took responsibility for his past actions and stood up to the new relationships that came at him. He was calm and reliable.
Polly I really did not care for. I understand her trust issues. But what she did with the pushing and pulling with Trey was ridiculous. She thought she knew what was going on in the shifter world, but in truth, she was clueless and used that to run and hide. I just didn’t like her.
It was a good conclusion to the series. The last chapter gives the reader a glimpse at what might be coming in the future. Overall a decent read.
Dual points of view. Happy ending.

Just a side note first, it might help if you have read the previous book Biker Bears Best Friend but you don't have to have done to understand this one. That said these are such a great series that I would suggest you read them all anyway. You won't regret it!
Trey has always been a bit gun-ho with most things. He jumps in before he thinks but it is never with malicious intent. He's not had the best reputation but he's shown that he wants to do things the right way and is growing up. He's got into college and is doing well there but altough it is meant to be shifter-friendly it is not as good as it could be. He comes home and feels so much freer, he doesn't want to leave college but he feels stiffled there plus home has one huge draw to it, Polly. Polly is so happy that her friend has finally found someone she can trust and rely on. She loves the family that these Bear shifters has created for themselves family by choice rather than by blood only and if she's honest she's a bit jealous that she's on the outskirts of it. She's always made to feel welcome but as she's no-one's mate it still leaves her alone on the sidelines and not a little lonely. That is until she meets Trey. She pretty much sees him and falls but can she avoid believing the rumours about him no matter how sweet he is to her? All the guys have had issues that they needed to sort out before they could be happy with their mates. Trey is no exception, he has to work for his happiness except that if he doesn't get it right he could lose more than he ever dreamed possible he could have and he might not be the only one.
I have loved reading how Trey has grown throughout these books. You feel that you know him so well. This is fantastic group, all their stories different.

💕 “I want you. Now and forever.”
~~~
Polly is such a kind, caring, compassionate and sweet woman! After everything she’s been through with Harlem, she’s now trying to get her life back. And I loved how supportive the pack was. She more than deserved it. Even more, she’s so brave to face all the new dangers thrown her way. I loved her!
The youngest Allen brother has always been a troublemaker. And now he’s doing everything he can to redeem himself. I really loved Trey - he’s such a kind, strong, fiercely protective and possessive male. And he’s such a charmer! I really loved how much he’s grown throughout the series to become a truly magnificent male.
Everything that happened between Polly and Trey was just perfect! The first time they met was absolutely adorable. And from then on, their chemistry and connection were undeniable. They fit so well together and I loved how caring, thoughtful and supportive they were of one another. There were some misunderstandings, dangers and surprises along the way to happiness, but Trey and Polly were a fantastic match and the passion they shared was off the charts hot.
In addition, the problem with Harlem adds an additional suspense to the storyline that got me glued to the pages till the very end. And I really loved that we got to meet Sin again - that’s alpha is definitely something.
Overall, the story is a fantastic finale to such a wonderful series. It’s filled with humor, danger, drama, fast-paced action, suspense, twists, steamy romance and magnificent characters.
I couldn’t put it down and loved every page of it!
Trey, the 3rd brother, previously known as “Reck” for his reckless behavior, and Polly, former girl friend of bad guy Harlem from the previous book.
This one has a little different twist than the previous books that Trey immediately recognizes Polly as his mate. He doesn’t go after her right away, he goes off to a semester at college and comes back. They have a one night stand, and then talk over email/phone for another semester. Polly is rebuilding her life after Harlem stalked her.
This has a crazy
AND this has the added bonkers that a baby turns up, from one of Trey’s one-night-stands before he met Polly. And Polly can’t have kids.
I got a little bored by the Harlem stalking bit, this is the 3rd book with a stalker ex, almost 4th of we count Lex’s ex that roofied her. It’s a little repetitive at this point, BUT I read it anyway, so I can’t fault the author. Though I do see some books in the Dragon series are similar, so maybe its the author’s thing. So I know what I’m getting.
An OK book
This is the 5th, and final, book in this series. It was a good book, it just wasn’t a great one. Trey, the youngest of the Allen clan of bear shifters has found his mate. This book is mostly tying up a few loose ends to a storyline that began in the last book and watching the relationship between the two main characters grow.
I know the mate bond seems to accelerate a relationship but even by shifter standards, their “courting” went pretty fast. While I wasn’t mad at it, our heroine Polly, did have a moment of stupidity when she realized that claiming a mate is more than just a sex act with some pretty heavy consequences. Thankfully it didn’t last long and we were able to get the story back on track
I admit, I do struggle with a lot of this author’s female characters. I understand that “Roxy Ray” is a group of writers writing under that name. I think that’s why I struggle so much here. Sometimes the book is so awesome and sometimes I just hate the FMC so much I can’t finish it. So it’s pretty hit and miss for me with this author.
As for this series, sure I’d recommend it. But I would caveat it that this is a light romantic PNR romp. Sure there are some steamy scenes in these books, but if you’re looking for a hardcore MC series, this isn’t the series for you.
A série possui cinco livros e para um romance hot sobrenatural com shifters, achei que faltou paixão e profundidade. A história é acelerada em alguns pontos, as partes "hot" não são muito boas e o romance é bem fraco.
Esses shifters são selvagens, perigosos, protetores e bem lerdos quando se trata de amor. Além de tudo, eles não dão sorte pois toda mulher por quem se apaixonam tem algum doido atrás delas.
Os casais são bem infantis, nada cativantes e questionei a inteligência dos personagens diversas vezes. Não consegui gostar desse clube de motoqueiros de shifters ursos e a série ainda começa com um livro de “plot” de gravidez por acidente.
Aqui os shifters são tratados como cidadãos de segunda classe, sendo obrigados a andar com emblemas de identificação, tendo que morar em comunidades afastadas dos humanos e só podendo se transformar em certas áreas.
A cada livro conhecemos um casal e dá para notar uma pequena melhora na escrita e enredo da autora, mas a gravidez biologicamente impossível continuou inexplicada, a ideia de que o governo se interessaria pelas crianças mestiças não foi explorada e notei que o modo como o shifter escolhe sua companheira ficou bem confuso.
Essa série tinha tudo para ser bem interessante, mas faltou desenvolvimento e uma boa escrita.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre: Shifter MC
Spice: 🥵 yes
Series: Bears of Forest Heights, book 5
Thoughts - so you 100% need to read book 4 as the stories are heavily intertwined. Also a few unanswered questions are answered in this book too so it’s worth it. With that being said Polly MFC and Trey MMC are everything and it’s the perfect was to end the series. Special mention to the fertility talk. Often we get a lot of Insta pregnancy’s in books and it’s refreshing to have real life issues be reflected. Absolutely read this whole series. They are on the light side of dark, are super loving and have all the protective vibes you want in a MC series.
Plot - the say day as he leaves for college is the same day treys bear rears its head, seeing their mate across the room. Back home a year later and she’s their in front of him, and this time he’s not walking away
* Bear shifters
* Insta love/fated mates
* Stalker
* Found Family
* ⚠️ Trigger warnings
More please!!
I really need more books from this series! I also would like to know when is the audiobook coming out?
This was a really good and exciting read. Trey, was HOT, goodness the way Polly describe him made me drool 🤤 and that scene of them in her roon... Well, let's say hubby here got lucky too. 😈
The scumbag Harlem got what he deserved, he was a terrible person.
And little Daisy!! It was sad her mom didn't want her, but at least she had the decency to leave the baby with her daddy.
I believe the subject of adoption, fostering and surrogacy are simply awesome ways for those people that can't have children on their own to have them. Obviously domestic violence is a subject that marks anyone person or child. Glad it was touched in this series. It made it so much realistic and it makes us all aware that it keeps happening in the world.
Please keep writing more on this series, I really want to know more about Sin, and the rest of the people of Forest Heights.
This is the 5th and final book in the Bears of Forest Heights series featuring Trey and Polly's exciting story. I really loved how their first meeting went Polly became a klutz because she was overwhelmed by how good looking Trey is. The interesting and unexpected surprise was the reappearance of Sin. Polly really needed to be more assertive when it comes to her relationship with Trey being a real relationship she didn't seem like she knew what she wanted. Whereas Trey really opens himself up and shows us his vulnerability Trey and Polly have amazing chemistry when they're together you can see the sparks fly. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting story full of drama and danger to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.
I am not normally a reader of MC Romance, but being completed addicted to the way the author writes, I will have to say I was hooked on this story right away. I love a woman who isn't afraid of trying even when the odds are against her, which Ainsley is from the start. She knows what she wants and works for it, which is in no way a man in her life! She is working so hard to keep her late father's business going..... but with a woman at the helm, it's going to be hard to prove herself in this business! To honor her late father, she decides to go to one of his favorite places to have a few drinks, or more.... only to discover it's not what it was when her dad was alive..... It's now a biker bar, but that didn't scare her, she proceeded to have a few, when she met a tall dark biker named Talon. Well lets just say these two didn't see what was coming their way! Even if you don't think you love MC Romances, you can't go wrong with giving this new series a try!!!!!
Least favorite
This one was my least favorite in the series. I wasn't a fan of the main female. And with this being the last one I felt we weren't given answers.
Issues with this book
How the he'll was Harlem released. No way would he be considered a low risk inmate and been released just one year.
Polly and the claiming. Just duh! What's an idiot. I just can't get
over how stupid she was.
We never get an answer on why some humans can have shifter babies and that bothered me that it was never solved.
I don't like how girls can't be part of their club meetings. Even the female shifters are excluded. Or how grizz just dismisses her and tells her she must have heard wrong. She never got an apology for that. Grizz apologies to his brother. Why couldn't Polly get one?
What is in the water in Utah? Lot of bat $hit crazy people living there.
I wish they would have done a book for Sin.
Trey on a visit home from college meets Polly who he had only got a glimpse of before he had left.Just before Bear shifter Trey had left the compound last year for college he had caught a glimpse of Polly a friend of Misty's and has not been able to get her out of his mind as he thinks she is his mate. The time away has been miserable with the college only allowing shifters a very limited time to shift which was nowhere near enough for his bear making him hard to control. On his return he tells his brothers that he would like to finish his degree somewhere close to home.This will also allow him time to court Polly getting to know her and hopefully get her to agree to be his mate but old enemies still reappear.
This is Trey’s story, the youngest Allen brother.
If you read Biker Bear’s Best Friend, Trey finds his mate in Polly, Misty’s friend.
I really wanted to like this book especially since it seems to be the final book on the series, but it fell a little flat for me. I hopes for the story, but I was really annoyed by Polly after the mating claim situation and the fact that she ran afterwards. Trey also receives some unexpected news, but he handled everything well.
Harlem, the turdburger, is back and has decided to create problems for both Polly and Misty.
We also get to see Sin again (yay!) and I hope we get a book on him honestly. He also helps the clan out with a difficult situation with Harlem.
It was nice to see all the couples and how their lives are thriving as well as the new additions.
Finding Redemption . . .
As Trey is preparing to leave for college, he scents his mate. But he has done some things he is not proud of and wants to use this time to prove himself to his family and clan. Returning home, he is ready to claim his mate, but is she ready?
Polly left an abusive ex and sought refuge with a clan of protective bear shifters. With Trey coming back to the clan, and their obvious connection, will he convince her to become his mate? When he ex comes around, will he keep her safe? And how will Polly react when a baby is dropped off with a note that says she is Trey’s child?
Lots of things going on in this story! Will they overcome all the difficulties and finally get together? Grab your copy and see how it all resolves.
Trey and Polly`s story is just as good as The first book in this series. Trey found his fated mate the day he left for college. After a year away, he decided to return home and connect with his future mate. Polly was babysitting for all the shifters after their runs and she taught yoga and other classes. As her and Misty past comes back to threaten them, Trey and his clan along with another clan, put that threat to an end. With the threat gone , Polly and Trey can become a couple and make a life for themselves.
Biker Bear Redemption #5 02/16/2022
Trey has come home for a visit and also to see a girl he saw the last time he was home. He doesn’t know her name but he will know her as soon as he sees her because his Bear told him she is his mate. Now he knows who she is Polly she has been staying at the compound and helping take care of the kids. Now that they have been talking or the phone Trey is coming home to stay and hopefully to be with Polly. But trouble from her and her friend Misty past is back to cause more trouble. So enjoy this good story but do start with book ne in the series to get the full story!!
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Biker Bears Redemption, the fifth and final story in the Bears of Forest Heights series by Roxie Ray. We meet Trey in the first book and what an introduction! Through the series we watch him through the peripheral, grow and change until we finally get his story as the main focus. I think it is important to read the series in order to understand Trey and his journey. I loved his and Polly's story. Just wish it wasn't closing out this series! So maybe we can get a story on Sin.... We can hope!
Redeeming Love
I absolutely loved Trey from the start of the series, he was the boy who was overlooked and underguided and he lost his way. Trying to overcome his past and change his life for the better he decides to leave for college. On his going away party he sees Polly and his bear claims her but he still leaves because he thinks he is unworthy. Spring comes and he returns for break to run into her the start up a little relationship. He plans to come back for good after realizing he cant live without her. When people from both their past come back and cause trouble it stirs up a lot of strife before they can get to their HEA
This appears to be the last book in the series and provides what appears to be a summation of the characters at the end which was nice. This is the story of the younger Allen brother and Polly, who was introduced in the story Biker Bears Best Friend. It helps to read the entire series in order because the story is built about incidents that occurred in the previous books. The characters had dimension and the story moved along with various plot twists.
Biker Bear's Redemption is Trey and Polly's story.
Trey is the youngest Allen brother and bear shifter who has a tendency to get himself into trouble but is trying to change.
Polly is human woman trying to bounce back and establish a new life after leaving an abusive relationship.
The two keep and fall for each other but must face some scary situations before their happy ever after can be obtained.
The characters are adorable and fiercely protective and the.action had me drawn into the story
It’s okay if you’ve already read the series. Not much in a plot department. While reading I felt like some parts are missing. Like boom Trey’s a father, boom Polly is his mate. I’m probably spoiled reader by now , but the whole series lacked in descriptions and emotions for me. Trey asking Polly aka his mate to be a paid nanny for his daughter while she has a career of her own was kinda downgrading.Don’t get me wrong I’m all in for morally grey / macho characters but he’s more like a replica not an OG. Overall 2.5/ 5 .
I really enjoyed this story. This is the first book I've read in this series. But the storyline was interesting and hooked me from the start. I really liked the characters. Polly and Trey's first meeting was adorable. (Sorry Polly! But girl, I completely understand you!) They have such wonderful chemistry. This story has some unexpected moments, as well as drama and action. A great read! I recommend picking this book up, and I would read more in this series. 5 stars.
Trey changed his life for the betterment away to college but missed the family too much so studying online instead. Polly asked Trey to claim her but hadn’t realized what it meant needed time to process it all. Trey found out that he had a daughter the mother left her at the clubhouse. Polly started to get back with Trey, her ex came back in her life to mess with her and Mistyand kidnaps them but Trey got there and saved them and everything turned out great!
