UPDATED 4/2022 - Audio Book: An Abosolute MUST!
I have been gushing about this book since I first read it. Now that I've had the ABSOLUTE DELIGHT to listen to it? Oh. My. GOD!! This is the BEST audio book I've had the pleasure of listening to. Ever!
Alyssa Turner has chosen SIX narrators (Addison Rose, Jack Walters, Adam Riley, B.J. Hunter, Stephen Ridgewood, and Rachel Music) that embody the characters that they play. Henri's sexy French accent, Ivan's deep and sensual tone, Oleg's commanding boom, Samantha's spirited American voice, Paolo's wistful yet demanding sound, and Marielle's unsure and broken soul who finds her grounding again.
The narrators may be perfectly matched but the part that I love the most is that their voices are used throughout the entire book, not just when the chapter is from their particular POV. This is honestly my favorite kind of audio book as the characters retain their voice consistently. There's no deviation from the voice associated with the various characters. Magnifique!

Coronating Their Queen - A MUST READ!
This book has more in common with riding Class 5 rapids without a life jacket or helmet and only a single bladed paddle than I was prepared for. It's exhilarating, shocking, stomach churning, heart pounding insanity that I want to ride again!
But don't for one second underestimate a Class 5 rapid as it can easily become deadly. This book is like that with all of the emotions that are thrown about. In this case, a single word best conveys the most overwhelming of the emotions - gutted. That's what this story has done to me. There's so much pain. Some from the past, even more from the present and no one is unscathed.
All of the trauma is married with an unbreakable bond that strengthens with each challenge. I love how each of the four Kings recognize broken bits within each other or themselves and through Samantha's light are able find a way to mend it. That recognition extends to her, as well.
Countering all of the violence, loss, and betrayal are five people who create an amazing bond. They love fiercely and find different ways to prove it again and again. Sometimes in the form of friendship, sometimes tenderness, and other times hot, hard, and against any available surface. 🔥🔥❤🔥🔥
As much as I enjoyed watching the bounds of Samantha's relationship with each Dominant expand, the one that intrigued me the most was Paolo and Ivan, with and without her. These two really wormed their way into my heart. ❤👬❤

Paolo couldn't help the smile easing onto his face. This would be good for everyone, and he adored her twisted logic. He loved her mind, adored how she saw the world, and was drawn like a moth to the flame burning within her.

You better be ready for a wild ride, Turner is able to give us everything we wanted and needed in this epic conclusion of the Unmatched series. From the first pages to the last, the book is fast paced and a page turner. There are very few authors that have managed to hold tight to my attention from beginning to end. Alyssa Turner delivers every single time.
The growth and knowledge we gain about each of the characters is astonishing. Usually a book centers around two individuals. Turner has to explore one heroine and 4 hero's. Plus we get a little taste of Alex and Marielle along the way. That is just a bonus. I feel like I know each of these characters so well. Their progression through each book of the series is perfect. The finally is mind blowing, but everything ends as it should. There was a smile on my face as I finished the last pages. Everything and everyone was so unbelievably perfect!
If you haven't treated yourself to this series, you're missing out. Not only do you get awesome characters, but fantastic writing and plots. You'll fall in love with the series from book 1 and hunger fore more.

This is the 3rd book in this trilogy and should be read in order. Samantha, Ivan and Paolo are great characters with steamy chemistry, emotion and lots of depth. The story is fast-paced with plenty of twists and turns and steamy scenes. Entertaining read with loads of drama and suspense. I loved it!

I loved it! The heat between the fearless Samantha and her guy’s is so much hotter, the kink is a whole lot kinkier, and the twists and turns had me well and truly hooked! Uncontested (Unmatched #3) is the fantastic final book in this deliciously thrilling and exciting, must read trilogy!

What a wonderful and exciting ending to the Unmatched Trilogy. Twists, turns and love abound. Surprises that will keep you turning the pages wondering how everything will be resolved. There is a solution. One that will put a smile on your face.’
Samantha comes into her own in Uncontested. She was strong before but has finally figured out where her place within Club Duval is. With the absence of one of the kings. It’s time that a Queen takes the throne. But, while getting there, there are several hurdles, a lot of soul searching and realization of who she truly is. Even though Uncontested is about Samantha’s journey, we get to know and understand Ivan and Paolo better. We also see a change, a softer side of Oleg as he lets go of the past and faces the future. Then there was Maurice.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. I love a strong woman who, even though a little lost, find their own way, make their own decisions yet know when to submit. The ending … oh what a wonderful way to end this story. I shed a tear and let out a whoop. Smiling, it was wonderful that everyone got what was coming to them.
Alyssa Turner knows how to tell a story. Her characters are complex and you can feel each of their emotions, understand their feelings. It takes a special author to write five completely different people and make them one cohesive unit. Enjoy the ending to the Unmatched Trilogy. I, for one, will miss the wonderful world of Club Duval and it’s kings and queen.

Intense, passionate, unpredictable, steamy, hopeful and romantic. For Samantha, finding her true self with Oleg and Henri has been eye opening. But she is challenged when new threats are brought to their door and it’s Ivan who is able to help her heal. She loves Oleg and Henri so is it possible to love Ivan and Paolo as well? An unexpected complication tests the bond she shares with her master, Oleg. The connection between the four men is stronger then ever as they battle old and new threats while they protect what they love. Experiencing how Samantha softens the edges of these hard and driven men is beautiful and uplifting while they empower her to thrive in their world. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

As an Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy of this book 3 and I voluntarily wrote an honest review.
I had a small problem with this review. The ‘Unmatched’ series are about BDSM relationships. I feel no affinity with BDSM. Giving love in combination with pain feels for me not good. But I realize that some other persons feel different. And although the author explains extensively the feelings of the BDSM participants it was sometimes a struggle to read the details of so many BDSM scenes. Nevertheless I tried to come to an unbiased opinion
Before reading book 3 of the ‘Unmatched’ series it’s recommendable to read the books I and 2 first.
A resume of book 1 ‘Unmeasured’. (Rating: 4 of 5 stars).
The reader meets in book 1 two interesting characters:
- Samantha Hunter, the daughter of a US Senator. Sam is the black sheep of the family. She has a rare abnormality in her brain so she never can feel fear. She becomes a ‘wild’ woman. To avoid scandals in the US media she studies and lives in Paris.
- Oleg Balashov. He belongs to one of the three mob families who dominates Paris. His parents died in a mob war and now his uncle wants him to marry a girl from a rival family to form an alliance against the third mafia group. But his real loyalty lies with a group of wealthy university friends with whom he runs an exclusive BDSM club, Club Duval.
Oleg and Sam meet in Club Duval. Oleg recognizes Sam’s vulnerability when he understands that she cannot feel her boundaries. Then the BDSM scene is dangerous. He wants to protect her and doing so Sam becomes the submissive he falls in love with. Samantha has the same feelings, but for ‘the spoiled brat’ it’s difficult to accept Oleg’s dominance.
Book 2. ‘Unleashed’. (Rating 4,5 of 5 stars).
In this book the author, Alyssa Turner, describes the developments in the relationship between Oleg and Samantha. In the BDSM scene it’s not uncommon that a Dom shares his sub with other Doms. Sam feels a special connection with doctor Henri Gerard, Oleg’s best friend. They build a polyamorous love triangle. There are complications when Oleg gets involved in quarrels between members of his mob family. So they return to Paris.
Book 3. ‘Uncontested’.
Rating: 4,5 (of 5 stars).
In general: Strong heroine broadens her Dom/sub relations .
In this book Sam, Oleg and Henri are still the main characters. But the role of Oleg’s other buddies, Ivan the MMA fighter and Paulo, the painter, become more important in Sam’s live. The author, Alyssa Turner, describes in detail with much insight and feeling how these new relations with more ‘vanilla’ elements, complete her BDSM lifestyle and how this mix of relationships causes complications. Her ‘old’ lovers have to accept her new relationships. Together with the different personal background of the main characters and the problems they sometimes have, the author creates an interesting, suspenseful story. For me a pleasure to read.

Where to start with this review? Hmmm… Well, we ended the last book with a new development between Paolo and Ivan. In Unmatched, we get to experience that development, with a few extra and exciting twists. Let me just say, I am totally Team Ivan. Alyssa Turner kills me! She really turned up the heat with this book. She’s created such an enthralling world with Samantha and the Masters of Club Duval. The segsy scenes are beyond hot and intense. As another reader said, “she doesn’t just write an erotic novel, she writes a story with characters that continue to captivate me.” (Anonymous Girl, Goodreads Review) This trilogy gave me a wild ride. It ended even better than I’d hoped for. And the epilogue was perfect.
Samantha is such a strong and fearless woman. I absolutely loved that about her. There isn’t a weak bone in her body. She gives her Doms hell, and they love every moment of it. In my review for the first book, I said “I think she is as much of a Dom as they are.” Well, hang on ladies because Samantha has a thing or two to teach us all! This is the hot, steamy, emotional ending of the Unmatched series by Alyssa Turner
These characters are unlike any you will ever come across in your reading world.. they're just indescribable and untouchable in comparison to whatever else you read.
Samantha goes from princess to Queen within her role with her loving, protective, cuddly kings in this final installment of the series. She learns more about herself and she learns things about all of the others in her world.. some things are positive and others are deadly.
I absolutely loved the intertwined relationships within the house... and could have read an entire series about Ivan and Paolo. They're my sweetness. They're my soft spot. Especially Ivan. I really enjoyed how Paolo and the lioness cracked Ivan and made him softer. I need me some more Paolo and Ivan.. love.. love.. loved them.
If you're ready for a Rollercoaster ride of your life.. you need this book on your shelf.. you'll find yourself reading these books over and over again and loving every word time after time!

Great book

This is one of my favorite series from Alyssa Turner and book 3 definitely delivers the conclusion this series deserves. It’s not only Sam who grows in this series, but every character. Sam, Oleg, Henri, Paolo, and Ivan are all so complicated and unique. There’s no shortage of drama, hot scenes, and action. Highly recommend this series and book three. It’s what Sam, her men, her friends and family deserve.

The growth that Sam has throughout this series is phenomenal, she starts out lost, knowing that something is missing but not sure what it is but that she needs something more. Everyone sees her disability as a weakness but her men see at a strength of who she is. Her whole life people have defined her or treated her differently and made her think she had to live inside a nice little box but through this 3 book journey we see that she is strong but also weak, she is a submissive but also a Dominant, she is a queen but also a pet, she is all of those because she chose to be. She chooses when to be strong and when to be weak and when to freely give up her power. She is a mother, a wife, a sister and a daughter, not one thing defines who she is because she is EVERTHING! Her men are delicious and the m/m scenes in this book are hot hot hot. I absolutely 💯 % loved this series.....

Colour me surprised. Is this a trilogy or will there be more? I have no idea. I guess I should have realized since this is technically a reverse harem book that each of the stories would revolve around Samantha. I believe this is the conclusion and boy does it pack a punch. There are a lot of things going on in here and most of the questions from the previous book are answered just as new subplots show up and don't feel finished in this book. I'm still reeling a bit from the unexpected violence. I like it.

Wow, I can’t believe this series is no more. It seriously brought tears to my eyes that I can’t explain. I purposely dragged this out til the end cause I know this series was truly a work of art. Though out this series Samantha, Oleg, Henri, Paolo and Ivan has all changed and bonded like no other. I have to say that Oleg’s words held true. They were all lost and broken, but now that they have each other they are now bonded as one. I love that Samantha has finally found her balance in her men and she no longer searches for the next thrill. I also, love Ivan was finally able to let go of his shame and allow Paolo and Samantha to give him everything he needs. Most of all I admire Oleg for becoming the man he always wanted to be and for recognizing his brothers and the true meaning they are all kings who have finally found their queen. Above all it’s Samantha’s parting words that truly hit home and holds some much truth.

Hot! Hot! Hot! I enjoyed reading this book. I was hooked and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I will definitely continue to read books by the author and highly recommend reading this series.

Holy moly was this full of secrets, steam mysteries, and so much chemistry I couldn't put it down. You have to read the previous books to understand this one more and it will blow you away!

Alyssa Turner’s Uncontested is the third and final book in her Unmatched trilogy. And what a finale to this fantastic series! Turner has a truly substantial gift. This is obvious in the way she crafted the final tale that encompasses the MFC, Samantha, and her men, Oleg, Henri, Paolo and Ivan. This episode brings the reader to heights of fear and joy. It bares our feelings of tenderness, sadness, but also empowerment. This RH family has enemies; enemies that threatened Samantha’s life more than once and tried to bring her men down as well. The way these violent experiences shuttered Samantha’s spirit brought tears, for me. But—don’t fear--there IS a sweeping, all-embracing HEA for Turner’s characters and it brought everything to a very gratifying conclusion you just have to read! Five stars.

I feel compelled to review all three of the books in this series as it is almost impossible to give a thorough telling of my feelings without considering them all.
Living a sheltered life and growing up in the shadows of her mother's political career, Sam is desperate for attention. She was a wild child, always finding new ways to test her imaginary restraints and maximize the thrill of her already monotonous life.
While studying abroad in Europe, she gets a taste of something while visiting a club with her roommate, where she gets a taste that puts all of her senses on alert. After one bite, her entire life will never be the same. Club Duval is an exotic atmosphere that allows all of her dearest darkest desires to surface, accessing a part of her psyche that she has always felt makes her a monster. At Club Duval, she has the utmost pleasure of meeting the five Doms that own the club: Oleg, Henri, Paolo, and Ivan, each with a sordid history of pain and loss that make them the men of strength, poise, and Dominance they are today.
Once at Club Duval, Sam feels a draw to Oleg - like a moth to a flame. Yet - he consistently has internal dialogue trying to convince himself he doesn't have the same Icarus-type attraction. Instead, he keeps her at arm's length, only kidding himself about his need to own her completely. His attitude is very hot-cold and almost childish. At first, I thought this may have been a writing flaw. However, after reading more of the story, I realized it's the character's personality, which leads me to conclude that the author fantastically portrays his petulance towards being tied down.
Although cold and domineering behind his scalpel and Dom mask (which is quite a delicious treat), Henri's personality comes off as the angel on Oleg's left shoulder; he is constantly recentering Oleg when he trends too far towards the void. Yet, he has a charming side that gave all three books a breath of fresh air. While Sam and Oleg share this rough, extremely physical, and primal connection, Sam and Henri share something different entirely. She appears to understand him better than he understands himself.
Sam's love connections to Paolo and Ivan happen much later in the book series and occurs almost simultaneously. Paola and Ivan are somewhat of a cohesive unit due to an emotional and physical trauma stemming from Ivan's childhood. Due to Ivan's damage, he feels that he is a broken, violent monster of a man that no one can love, but Paola sees something beautiful. Ivan tries to hide and isolate himself, but Paulo finds a way to give him all his love. Along the way of Ivan's self-discovery, Samantha finds where she fits into this duo's partnership, making them whole.
There is one scene that involves something called Knife Play. Anyone not entirely familiar with this term is a form of edgeplay in the BDSM community involving sharp objects like knives and daggers to mentally and physically stimulate emotions. Henri and Sam are the main actors in the scene, having acted this out several times before. Oleg has just joined them and is new to the party. It's an emotionally potent scene between the three. I read it a few times and bookmarked it. I found it to represent how understanding nonverbal queues from someone you care about can give you an omnipotent view into their soul. Sam knew what Henri needed to soothe his ailments and found a way to give it to him.
There was another scene that I felt so intense and emboldening to the story that I highlighted it and have also read it several times. This is the point in the story in particular when she is reading in Oleg's study and comes across a very worn piece of paper that just happens to have a letter from his mother. Sam finding this letter sets Oleg off in a blinding rage to the point of no return as he is worried that her image of his power is now tainted by her understanding of his origins. He is so afraid of himself and what he may do to Sam that he screams at her to go. Her response is, "No, I am staying. I am staying because you need this...I will survive you," and his retort is, "If you survive me, then you can have me because I truly belong to no one else." I have read this passage so many times, and every time my heart beats out of my chest. It is a compelling scene in this book, and I believe the actual turning point of everything.
There were a few areas where I think the story got a little long-winded or side-tracked, so I feel like I couldn't entirely give it five stars. I feel like Turner may have been trying to spruce up the novels by adding more sustenance to the mob angle or just wanting to add length to the books. Some of this could have been removed or condensed, which would have made a great duet series.
There was an extremely graphic scene where something happened to Sam. Although it was difficult to read, I understand why this needed to be in the novel because it helped structure the rest of the book. I appreciate how Turner wrote the scene and the outcome of the scene.
These novels are not for casual romance readers. If you enjoy dark romance novels, graphic love scenes, suspense, and mystery that end with a happily ever after, these are the books. I would recommend these novels to readers of Beena Khan, Kristen Luciani, or any other mobster romance authors. Enjoy.

After all this isn't your usual book between a man and a woman this is five characters. I feel like I should too warn you that you just might want to throw your kindle up against the wall. I don't know that a book has made me that mad in a very long time and I might have shed a tear or two also. I was so invested in this book and I am really glad I got to read all three of them back to back to back basically or I would have been a stalker waiting on the next book to come out. This is my first time reading Alyssa Turner and I loved this book and the other two so very much. I will for sure be checking out her other books. It Does Not Get Any Better Than This!

Uncontested is the fantastic conclusion to the Unmatched series by Alyssa Turner. I honestly could not have asked for more. The story, the characters, the dialogue, the narration, the flow, every aspect was perfection! And the feels, I ran the full gamut of emotions while listening to this audiobook. Alyssa Turner writes with her whole heart. Her characters are wonderfully human, wonderfully flawed and fabulously real! Over the course of the series I really feel as if I have gotten to know these wonderful characters, I have witnessed their growth, especially in this the third and final book, and I have certainly come to love them, every single one of them! My heart broke for Ivan! His past, the reasons for his rage, his torment! My heart was in my throat for Samantha and what she went through in this book as well. It all felt so real! There were times I wanted to take a few characters to the woodshed and do unspeakable things to them! Saying who would be playing spoiler and we can’t have that! The point is, fabulous writing can reach inside you and pull you so deeply into the story that the outside world seems to cease existing and reality is suspended. And the fabulous writing in this story did exactly that. Then, add in the duet narration by the six wonderful narrators that brought this amazing story to life and you have a performance that will have you laughing one minute, crying the next, and then waving your fist in the air and screaming YES! This is an unforgettable story, delivered in a truly memorable fashion. I finished this audiobook this morning and it is now a full twelve hours later and these characters, this story, is still very much with me. I have a feeling it will be for a very long time. Five fabulous well earned stars! I fully intend to listen to the entire series again in the future!

Samantha is still a badass!!! I can not even tell you how much his book hit me in the feels! These 4 men are all so different. There was a lot of things that happened in this book that defined what each of these 5 people are to each other. Like I didn't know I needed that connection between Ivan and Paolo..... but when it happened .... I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!! There was a big bomb that was dropped in the story and one of the reactions had my heart breaking, while another's reaction gave me LIFE! Hearing Ivan say "Yes Mistress" was making me both shiver and squirm! My personal opinion is that Paolo was the swooniest! But they all had their moments. I am of the feeling that Oleg & Henri are so worried about who Samantha "belongs to".... while Paolo and Ivan seem to go along with the idea that maybe she owns them!
Samantha's growth in this series was so astounding! She found herself with these men! She learned to stand up for herself in all aspects of her life. In the first book she really did seem like a brat doing what ever she wants.... by the end she absolutely embodies the Queen that these Kings need with them!
The narration was on point! I was totally into this story and I feel like the narration had a HUGE part in that!

Uncontested, book 3 of the Uncontested series, has the lowest point for the characters but also the highest highs.
I was gutted by the danger to Samantha, but humble by how well her men have grown to know her and what is needed to help her heal. It also provides the path for Ivan to heal as well. Trigger warning- past and present abuse covered. Story does a wonderful way of showing a way forward with support and understanding.
For the entire series, these characters have rewritten the rules. What they thought they wanted is no longer true. Samantha has changed everything for the kings. They now need to figure out what their future is going to look like.
I was beyond moved by the guys gesture to prove how much Samantha means to them. The epilogue had me worried, but wraps up all loose ends.
An entertaining series that I look forward to reading again.

Samantha has left New York with Oleg and Henri, maybe permanantly for all she knows. She is recovering from her kidnapping, but since his uncles murder and her rescue Oleg is finding himself drawn into the criminal world he swore to leave behind. She has also realized that her feelings for the other tow kings, Ivan and Paolo, are just as deep as her feelings for Oleg and Henri. Now she just has to convince the four kings that they can shere he body and her heart.
Sizzling hot sexy, well written, and compelling characters that have to learn that they can have everything they always wanted; together. Action, violence, bloodshed, kidnappigng, betrayal, BDSM, unexpected and surprising twists in the plot make this a must read book. Fnatastic conclusion to a wonderful series!

Uncontested is the conclusion to this engrossing romance series about five people whose lives are forever changed when they come together. Samantha is at the center of it all. She freely gives heart to the four kings and by doing so, heals herself as well as them. I cared so much for them all and I loved every minute of their steamy, emotional, unpredictable, exciting story. Reading the entire series is a must. The story is compelling and the writing is excellent throughout all three books. Alyssa Turner is a new author to me but she is on my radar now! I loved it.

Uncontested was a blast to read since it contained everyone's stories, and you did not have to wait to see what happened next. If you love strong, courageous women, then Samantha is one you will enjoy. Her transformation from broken, flighty, indecisive to a woman who not only knows what she wants but is unapologetic and focused is empowering. I cannot tell you which of the men I loved the most. But Ivan is a top contender or Paolo, maybe. Hmmm....

I received an ARC of Uncontested and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I love all of the steam!!! I read it in just a few hours I was unable to put the book down. I never wanted it to end. Definitely not a book to read in public unless you want people to see you melt. Will need to be read in front of a fan.

Book Review
Hey another series by Alyssa Tirner, and it is so so good!! I love reading this author's books, and these 3 are no exception! The story flows through the books effortlessly, and the 4 men and the FMC share a chemistry that is blistering hot hot hot!!! If you ladies but this series, you will not be disappointed!! It's a must read book!!

Loved it..
What an amazing conclusion to an awesome series. The five main characters are so beautifully written that you feel as if you know and understand how each one of them. Their hurts and their healings. A journey all five go on to find their happiness and love entwined together. A must read.
