Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: accidental pregnancy
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

I haven't read the other books in this series, because I didn't have the time, but I am a huge fan of Natasha Madison and Mine to Love did not disappoint. Great storytelling with tons of laugh out loud banter - especially between the sisters. Presley is a girl that has been traumatized by the fallout of all her family's relationships. She's always sworn never to marry to avoid the inevitable heartbreak. That doesn't keep her from having a secret "relationship" with a special someone for 12 years, but when she accidentally gets pregnant, she's going to be forced to take a closer look at what Bennet really means to her. For his part, Bennett is just a fabulous, jelly roll of a hero. Completely all in for his girl, but not to the point where he isn't willing to stand up form himself. A sweet and angsty read with all the feels ❤️.

If you’ve read the previous books in this series, then you’re familiar with Presley the self proclaimed “Lone Wolf” who never wants to walk down the aisle. Well now it’s her turn (or is it) in Mine To Love (Southern Wedding #4). And as fate would have it, a positive pregnant test changes everything. Especially since her baby daddy is her long time friends with benefits lover, Bennett.

I have to say, sexy Bennett is without a doubt my favorite hero in this series and he stole my heart from the very beginning. He’s the entire package and couldn’t have been a better man. Bennett is more than ready to take the step with Presley, his love for her is palpable and he’s beyond passionate. However, this stubborn woman won’t go down without a fight. It’s so obvious that Presley is in love with Bennett, she’s terrified to admit it and when you add a pregnancy to the mix, in her mind, it’s an emotional recipe for disaster.

Bennett and Presley’s journey isn’t always easy and can be emotional at times. Yet this book has a perfect balance of comic relief (the Baker family antics and banter seriously cracked me up), scorching hot sexy times, feel good and tender moments. Natasha Madison did what she does best and created another incredible and engaging book. Mine To Love is definitely my favorite book in the series.

“She’s always been mine. Now it’s time to show her.”

4.5 stars!

The fourth book in the Southern Wedding series, this is a gorgeous read! Funny and heartfelt, this one really brings the feels as a woman who is terrified to love is forced to confront her feelings for the man who is desperately in love with her – her brother’s best friend. It’s a friends to lovers with a surprise pregnancy, and so much emotion, and I absolutely loved it!

This book is a little different from the others in the series in that we have an established sort-of couple; Presley and Bennett are already wildly in love with each other… they’ve just never admitted it to each other. Presley grew up with Bennett as a part of her life, as he is the best friend her older brother, Travis. She asked him to take her virginity when she was 18, and given his feelings for at the time, he whole-heartedly agreed. In the 12 years since, they would hook up whenever they were in the same place at the same time, but Presley made it clear that she has no intention of falling in love or getting married, so they both knew that nothing further would happen between them. Now, Bennett has moved back home and things between them have stepped up a notch – they are hooking up regularly, even with the odd sleepover, but Presley is determined to keep things strictly casual. Until a positive pregnancy test changes everything.

Bennett is all in – he always has been – and up until now he’s respected Presley’s limits. In fact, he loves her independence, as frustrating as their situation has been for him. But now that there is a baby on the way, it’s time for everything to be out in the open, and for them to finally stop messing around.

“She called herself a lone wolf … You think she’s going to be open to marrying me?”
“Not a chance,” he admits to me, taking his own pull of his beer. “She’s going to fight you the whole fucking way.”
“Oh, I know.” I smile.

It’s a great set-up, and even though there’s so much history between these two that we don’t actually get to witness, I was feeling it all right away, and absolutely love these two together. Their chemistry is wild, their passion for each other intense, and even though they’ve never said the words, their love for each other is so clear to see. There’s lots of banter and flirtiness, and when the pregnancy comes along, it’s even better. I love a surprise baby story, and the way that Bennett is prepared to take on whatever Presley throws at him is great!

“I’ve always wanted you to be happy regardless of us” – he emphasizes the word – “having a baby together” … “For the rest of your life, my main concern is taking care of you both.” He stares into my eyes while he says the words. “Period. That’s my job. To take care of you and our children.”

As excited as I was to read this book, I was also really nervous. Knowing Presley’s stance on love and relationships, I could predict the drama to come, and oh, it hurt! I was initially so annoyed with her – she has a wonderful man who is in love with her, and fully devoted to her, yet she continuously pushes him away! This kind of behaviour can kill a book for me, however I really love the way that Natasha Madison handled this storyline.

“I’m scared.” I say those two words that I’ve never said in my whole life. Two words that make me feel the most vulnerable.
He puts his forefinger under my chin and lifts my head to look into my eyes. “You don’t ever have to be scared when you are with me.”

Presley’s whole world is changing, and she has a lot that she needs to deal with – and that includes finally looking at her life and figuring out what she truly wants. It’s an emotional journey for her, and despite my initial anger towards her, I really came to feel for her. She’s so afraid, and her moment of clarity when she realises that, and what she’s potentially missing out on, is so, so good. Their coming together may be hard fought-for, but it’s pretty epic. Heartfelt and swoony, it was everything I was hoping it would be, and I had the biggest, cheesiest grin on my face.

“I’ve loved you for the past twelve years” … “With every single fiber of my being, I love you.”

Through it all, Presley’s sisters are there for her. We get to see all of the characters from the previous books, which I loved, and they all continued to make me laugh. Never ones to be shy, they are there for both Presley and Bennett, and as supportive as they are of their sister, they still manage to say what we’re all thinking.

“Did you tell him how you felt, or are you still a dumbass?”

I loved this book. Like the earlier books in the series, it’s fun, sexy and laugh-out-loud funny, but it also brings the feels, and I loved the emotion in this one.

“I promise that if you give me another chance, I will make it worth it” … “ I’m sorry.” I smile as the tears roll down. “I’m so sorry.”
He puts his forehead on mine. “It’s about fucking time.”

It’s a beautiful love story that made me laugh and cry, with an epilogue that left me laughing, and a hint of things to come, and I’m so excited for the next book in the series.

4.5 stars.

I really like Bennett and the fact that both he and Presley were only with each other in these 12 years. KUDOS to the author for not making especially Bennett's character (common stereotype for the male characters) having relationships with ow.
However i feel Presley's character took things too far; yes she saw all her siblings suffer from their first attempts but she had the perfect boyfriend in front of her. Don't know if it was convincing enough for me.
I really wanted to smack her most of the times and especially during her ordeal at the hospital.
Thank God they had the perfect happy ending.

Presley is an awful troll for the first 80%

Brothers best friend. Unexpected baby. Hero that is all in and relentlessly purses the reluctant heroine. This. Is. My. Jam. And Bennett was literally #relationshipgoals. Unfortunately, Presley was a horrid troll up until the last few chapters. I almost quit at 20% when I saw how it was going to be played out, but Bennett saved things and kept me reading.

For TWELVE years, these two have had a secret monogamous friends-with-benefits relationship. Twelve. Years. She will not allow any titles, no PDA or public dates, and although they literally spend every night together, she sneaks out every morning. Why? Because her siblings all faced heartbreak before getting their HEA, so she refuses to be in a relationship or consider marriage. 🙄 and her mom was heartbroken when her dad died. So, She’s decided that she can never be hurt if she refuses to commit. 🙄 🙄 Even though her siblings are all hopelessly in love with their HEA. It’s ridiculous. So she strings along the best guy ever, who literally worships at her feet. He says or does something sweet, and we see her inner monologue telling herself she loves him, but then she spews something awful out her mouth instead. She finds she is pregnant and he is ecstatic. So she pushes him away of course. She is so cruel to him that I really wanted him to wind up with someone else. He deserved better. He deserved someone that wasn’t willing to intentionally break his heart over and over under the guise of protecting hers. 🤬

I have not read the other books in this series, and maybe I could have had more sympathy for her if I had been introduced to her before. Instead she was an immature selfish harpy. This man would move the heavens and earth for her, and she refused to even tell him when she had a possible miscarriage scare. He sat at home with dinner and a house full of hundreds of flowers for her, and she ignored all his calls and texts while she sat in the hospital. 🤬 It literally took seeing him with another woman (that he wasn’t even dating) weeks and weeks after he finally said he was done being abused by her, before she finally acknowledged out loud she had any feelings for him. It felt very “if I can’t have you, no one else should either”. Ugh. And it didn’t happen until 80% into the story!

The writing was great. The storyline had so much potential. There were plenty of laughs and 🔥. He was the perfect boyfriend. It’s just unfortunate that she was completely unlikable.

I liked this one for the most part. I love the banter in this series for sure. I didn't love that it took Presley so long to pull her head out of her ass.

At first, I thought this was going to be low angsty and we would get a book with tons of banter. I figured Presley would fight Bennett on getting married, but that would be the extent of it. Nope. Presley had to play the whole I'm doing this on my own, blah, blah. My heart actually broke for Bennett.

I'm glad they worked out their issues but I would've loved them to do it way sooner.

I love Presley! She is the last woman standing in the family and has every intention of staying that way. She is adamant about not getting married. She also has a secret or two.

Bennett, family friend, brother’s best friend, and one of Presley’s secrets. Bennett knows what he wants and works for it. Their story is fun, and this reader did not want it to end.

A beautiful emotional, all-the-feels contemporary romance was wonderfully written. I loved the craziness of the sisters and antics of their mom. My heart went out to Bennett. He was hurt by Presley's decision to not reveal her feelings. Wonderful ending!

Where to start where to start... How about with how much I could relate to Presley, with the way she refused to ask for help. Or the way she doesn't let herself be loved the way Bennett wants to love her. She made me want to slap the living light out of her, for being so stubborn, but as I said I can relate so I knew, something BIG had to happen for her to see just what precious gift Bennett's love was for her, and their child.

Bennett, Bennett, Bennett... I love this man. He can do NO wrong as far as I'm concerned. He loved her any way he could. He understood that she had her reasons and was OK with them. But that hospital scene literally broke me. I was crying so hard (I have tears now while writing this), that I had to stop reading and move from my kindle to calm down. I loved him for giving her space, despite what it was doing to him. And when she finally came to her senses, I loved him for not letting her suffer too much. And what I loved best about these two, was the way she understood that she needs to change or at least, let him take care of her, in order to make their relationship work.

If you follow my reviews then you already KNOW how much I love Natasha Madison’s work. She is my favorite author and if she continues writing such moving stories for us to read, she can take my money, ALL my money from here on out.

I thought this was the last book in the series and then I saw that we were getting at least one more book. And it's a crossover of two series I have loved so I am one very happy little munchkin.

Each book in this series has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. But in such a good way that they are hard to put down and have me laughing and smiling and crying. And when I put them down, I have a smile on my face and a desperate need for the next one.

Bennett was beautiful and I loved how completely in he was from the first page. While Presley was a lot more reluctant and needed time to get her fear in check. But once it came out where that fear was from, I can't say I blame her. Even if it did take her long enough to pull her head out of her you know where.

As always, the secondary characters were awesome, funny, sweet and kinda supportive, in that way only family can be. It was so well written I picked it up to read a little while I was having a cup of tea and I couldn’t put it down. I hate that we have to wait so long for the next one, but it's one of those series that I can just pick up any time and be right back in the story. And after that epilogue I can’t wait.

Comment: There are 4 books in the first 1/2 of the series all about the Baker siblings and the next 4 are the Barnes family (?) This story was slightly different than the other three. The couple starts out with a baby in the oven, they don't get married until the baby sex reveal. The scene of baby Violet's birth was hilarious. I never laughed so hard. I gave this book a 4.

Mine to Love by Natasha Madison is the fourth book in her Southern Wedding series.

After seeing her siblings weddingdays go so horribly, Presley swore to herself that she would never get married. But what she didn‘t expect is to get pregnant by her older brother‘s best friend Bennett.

Bennett is seriously one of the best book boyfriends I have read in a loooong time! I fell in love with him from the first chapter on. He‘s such a sweetheart and it broke my heart how he was treated, even if I understood Presley‘s motives.

This book was sweet, emotional (I almost cried!!) and steamy! Presley and Bennett are amazing characters and I loved how involved the rest of the siblings were in this book.

I am super glad this series is not over yet! And can‘t wait to see where Natasha takes us next!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Mine to Love by Natasha Madison is the fourth book in the Southern Wedding series. This installment takes a different turn from the previous books in the series. This time around, instead of a wedding coming to an abrupt halt, the heroine has no desire to marry, and it’s up to the hero to convince her otherwise. Mine to Love delivered a funny and heartfelt friends to lovers romance with a surprise pregnancy thrown into the mix.

Presley and Bennett have been a part of each other’s lives growing up. Bennett is her brother’s best friend. At eighteen years old, Presley gave Bennett her virginity. Since then have been seeing each other on and off for the past twelve years. They are in love with each other, but they have yet to express their feelings to one another. Presley has no intention of getting married, something which she’s made Bennett aware of, so he willingly accepted what she offered. Now he’s returned home for good and they are seeing each other regularly, with no hope of Pressley changing her mind about their relationship moving beyond their frequent hook-up. However, an unexpected pregnancy will change the whole dynamics of their relationship. Will it bring them closer together or will tear them apart?

Mine to Love is a beautiful story, which depicted two of my favorite tropes, friends to lovers and brother’s best friend. The protagonists, Pressley and Bennett have history, which started from their childhood days. A history which became complicated when their relationship became physical. They fell in love with each other, but they have never truly expressed the way they felt about each other. Bennett wants more but fears if he pushes for more, Pressley would run in the opposite direction. While Pressley fears losing Bennett and the impending heartbreak to follow such a loss.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts, and their passion for each other is intense. Throughout the story, one could see these two love each other, but Pressley’s stubbornness and determination to do things on her own threatened the possibility of a happily ever after for these two. Their flirtatious and humorous banter which had me smiling throughout the story. Without a doubt, these two belonged together.

I loved how they quickly embraced the changes the pregnancy would bring after the initial shock wore off. Many readers will find Pressley relatable, Although, I must admit her behaviour throughout the story annoyed me. Her insistence on pushing Bennett based on what happened to her mother and her siblings rubbed me the wrong way. Frankly, her fears were unfounded. Also, I do believe readers will fall for Bennett. He treats Pressley with the utmost care and attention before and even more so during the pregnancy. Hence the reasons her actions annoyed me. She finally came to her senses, but the journey to that point came with heart wrenching moments. The outcome, however, will leave readers smiling.

Despite my frustration with the heroine, Mine to Love entertained me with its heartwarming and passionate romance. It delivered a combination of funny, frustrating and sad moments. Overall, a great read and one I would recommend to fans of contemporary romance.

[WSPÓŁPRACA REKLAMOWA]

☆RECENZJA☆
♧Tytuł: Mine to love
♧Autor: Natasha Madison
♧Cykl: Długo i szczęśliwie
♧Tom: Czwarty
♧Wydawnictwo: Papierowe Serca

♡ Możecie tu znaleźć: motyw niespodziewanej ciąży, przyjaciel starszego brata, przyjaciele z korzyściami, twarda główna bohaterka i troszczący się o nią mężczyzna.

Presley has been in love with Bennett ever since she was a teenager. Then he took her virginity and from then they had an on again off again type of relationship, a relationship that no one knew about. A relationship where they sleep together and she sneaks out in the morning 😊

But Bennett has had enough, he wants more. He wants Presley to be his woman openly and honestly. And then he gets his chance when… Surprise she is pregnant. Now all bets are off and he will show her that she is his and he is hers 😊

I enjoyed this series so much. And glad to see its not the last book yet… Presley and her sisters always gives a good read. I loved Bennett. He was funny, charming, sweet and totally sexy 😊 Presley, even though she called herself the lone wolf, she needed to figure out that even though Bennett is her first love, that nothing was going to stop him from making her his only love 😊

“She called herself a lone wolf … You think she’s going to be open to marrying me?”
“Not a chance,” he admits to me, taking his own pull of his beer. “She’s going to fight you the whole fucking way.”
“Oh, I know.” I smile.

Loved the story, loved the crazy weird family. Love their crazy talks as sisters (like no subject is off limits, lol) I am looking forward to reading Mine to Take 😊

Presley has seen what has happened to her mom and siblings when it comes to love and she wants nothing to do with it. She has shut herself down when it comes to love and marriage. Bennett has been in love with Presley for years, but he knows her thoughts when it comes to love and marriage. He will do have her anyway he can. It’s been twelve years and now their lives will forever be connected.

I loved these two. I loved the connection they shared and their entire relationship. Despite the fact that Presley is trying to hide her feelings, she obviously cares deeply for Bennett, but how can you not after so many years together? Bennett, the man is patient but the amount of love he has for Presley is enough to keep him going and he knows that there is no one else out there for him besides her.

I loved seeing Presley slowly let down her walls and finally open herself up to the thought of love. Bennett is the one for her and she just needed some extra time to realize that.

If you’re looking for a smalltown, friends to lovers, surprise pregnancy romance this is one to check out.

Presley has seen what happens when relationships don’t work, and she has been determined to avoid that future for herself. She doesn’t remember a time that Bennett hasn’t been part of her life not only because he is her brother’s best friend, but they have also shared a casual relationship for the last decade. She was content with the status quo however that may no longer be enough when two are about to become three.

Bennett has always loved Presley and that meant taking whatever she had to give. When he finds out they are expecting a baby a casual relationship is not longer enough. He is determined to show her that they will be together for now and always and that nothing including marriage could change how they feel about each other.

Presley is struggling between the future she had planned and the future she didn’t know she wanted. Bennett has always been so patient and understanding and he knows he can’t give up now when the life and life he has always wanted with Presley is withing his grasp.

I enjoyed the previous book in the series and was looking forward to read this new instalment in the Southern Wedding series.
The characters have made appearances in the previous books so I was intrigued by them there.
The story overall was nice, with plenty of banter and some unexpected moments, with lots of what ifs and a romance that takes its time to bloom in the end.
There are few pretty graphic description of the pregnancy and birth giving that reminds me of my own pregnancies and how much some of us have to get through.
If you love a small town story with a slow burn and a pregnancy romance , check it out.

Stumbled upon this while looking for some good recent releases to add to my tbr. This was very low angst, aside from the overarching conflict of the heroine being commitment-phobic, which was very annoying even if her reasons were legitimate. Every issue the characters had would've been avoided if they just sat down and communicated properly. Nonetheless, this was a quick and enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to reading more from this series.

I am obsessed with Natasha Madison’s Southern Wedding series! There is just something about these books that ticks all my boxes. Case in point. I’m not a fan of accidental pregnancy or friends with benefits tropes (both of which appear in this book) - but when Natasha writes it, I read it, and I love it!

Bennett was everything I love in a book boyfriend. He loved with his whole heart and it showed in everything he did. I especially loved how patient he was. Bennett is one of the good ones. Presley was a complicated character but if you’ve read this series, you completely get where she is coming from. Her love for Bennett was clearly apparent and ultimately would make her see the light. I enjoyed watching them get their happily ever after, it was perfect for them and for this book.

I’m giving 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
