There are times when I just want a fluffy easy read. I am not looking for great literary works. I just want some feel-good Daddy and Little stories and I always go into them knowing that there will insta-love and all those other tropes but it doesn't matter because they make me smile and for me enjoyment of a book can overcome a magnitude of faults.

Unfortunately, Rainbow Sprinkles didn't quite overcome. Whilst the characters were sweet and the setting so promising, it just failed to deliver and left me wanting more.

A sweet read but there are much better in the genre and there are much better from Pepper North.

I have to say for a short romance that was about Daddy Dom's and Little girls it wasn't a bad story. It didn't have any boring parts and it was very steamy. If you like books that aren't really long and love DD/LG romances this could be the book for you.

Ellie Wilmoth graduated college and took care of her grandmother until she passed away. Then she got to open her dream bakery cause her grandmother made sure she had the money to start it up. It was the money her grandmother got from her husband, her husband's family had money and when he passed it went to her grandmother and then her.
Ellie meets her landlord Garrett Erickson who owns the building she has her cupcake shop at. Garrett is a retired professional football player. He's 38 years old and he is a Daddy Dom who wants to have a little girl. When Ellie and Garrett meet he thinks he knows her from somewhere and he sees her again there. Club Blaze is where he sees her and he wants her for himself. He wants to be her daddy.
The sex scenes between these two are just really hot. The book itself may be short but theirs a lot of information about Ellie and Garrett and some of the other Little's and daddies, the series is gonna be good, I've only read the first one but hoping to read the rest soon.

Rainbow Sprinkles is book one in the Little Cakes series by Pepper North and Paige Michaels. It is truly a sweet romance that fans of age play and Daddy books will fall in love with. Ellie was a great mix of adult woman and little tendencies. She is so capable and creative in the bakery and enjoys having her independence while in her shop. It was fun being able to watch her give up some of her control to explore her little side when she was at home with Garrett. I also enjoyed that while Garrett wanted to care for her, he did not try to take away her chives or independence and let her explore and accept her own limits when it came to the age play elements of their relationship.

Rainbow Sprinkles also gives us a look at characters who may be getting future books in this series including the ladies who work with Ellie in her bakery and Bear, the other baker who also happens to be a Daddy looking for his little.

If you enjoy a Daddy / little girl romance, Rainbow Sprinkles was a lot of fun with plenty of steamy adult moments as well as sweet and tender Daddy and baby girl moments. 4 stars!

I think I’ve just been overly spoiled by Laylah Roberts books.
This wasn’t a bad book, it just didn’t give me what I was looking for in a DD/lg romance.
I wasn’t sold on their dynamic, and the writing just didn’t do it for me.
I didn’t really like how things were gone about. Garrett doesn’t really ask about what Ellie wants, he just tells her what he wants and she wants to please him so she goes with it. That’s not to say she doesn’t enjoy it.
I just prefer how Laylah Roberts goes about these sorts of things.
The Daddies in her books always make it very clear that it’s up to their Littles what they want when it comes to how they spend their time in Little space.
In this book, Garrett already had a nursery and everything set up, instead of asking what age her little was and then setting things up accordingly.

It just wasn’t for me, and I was getting a bit bored with it all.

So this book is way different than I would normally read. I love both these authors so I took a chance. It took me a bit to get used to the littles thing, but it was the storyline that drew me in. Ellie has dreams of her bakery being a success and though she's nervous about it she loves what she does. When the building landlord comes to her door her feelings are all over the place. Her life is her bakery, but her dreams are finding a daddy to her little personality. Garrett is enchanted for sure by this bakery woman that makes him feel things he hasn't felt in a really long time. He is protective of her and when someone threatens what she loves he will be there to handle it. He's a daddy looking for his special little can it be Ellie? This book is about finding yourself and seeing if the love that you want can actually be a reality.

What a lovely way to start a New Year with a new series! I’ve never read anything by these authors before, but I’m so glad I did.

Ellie was in new new cupcake shop late at night when her new landlord, Garret, noticed her. He knew right away that she is his Little Girl he has been patiently waiting for. Now all he has to do is to convince his new little that they were meant to be.

I’ve always loved age play themed books with very sweet romance. The way the characters trust each other in such an intimate nonsexual way is something truly special. I appreciate the way Pepper and Paige wrote this respectfully about the DDLG community. I’m truly excited to see the other characters that we met get their happily ever after too.

Ellie has dreamt of opening her own cupcake shop, and that dream is finally coming true. She has rented a storefront in a strip mall, gotten all her equipment, and tinkered with her recipes. When Garrett, the owner of the property, finds her working late at night with the door unlocked, he is upset. Anything could have happened! When he realizes she is a Little girl, he is delighted. He is a Daddy who has waited for his Little girl for so long. He knows right away she is the one for him.
This story was written by two amazing authors. The characters are relatable and fun, their chemistry is flaming hot, and the story could not be more sweet. It is definitely a five-star read for anyone interested in books about happy Little girls and their Daddies.

I read this book last year and was impressed with the author's story of Ellie. Ellie wanted to open her own store making cupcakes and finally managed to do just that. Garrett -her landlord is horrified when he sees her in the shop really late one night and decides he needs to take on the role of looking after her. Ellie didn't realize she needed a Daddy and Garrett fits the bill perfectly. He is impressed with her hard work and determination to make her shop a success - even putting in the long hours.
The story is sugar sweet and so enjoyable - I just have to have more from this author.

This Story is pure delight, as a chef/baker I smiled at the enthusiasm Ellie has for baking Cupcakes. You can’t help but smile especially during the first encounter between Ellie & her landlord Garrett Erickson. If you are an avid reader of Pepper North & Paige Michaels you will be able
to detect their writing styles but not to the point where it feels like two separate stories. Their writing style meld together perfectly like well crafted cupcake flavors & treats. Can’t wait for book 2 Lemon Chiffon (Little Cakes Book 2) congratulations ladies & thank you.

A steamy, interesting tale. Ellie had an opportunity to begin her own business, Little Cakes. She was determined to succeed, although she worried about failure as well, and may have been a bit overly trusting. Then Garrett entered her store. He was sure of what he had found and gave Ellie what she wanted. They were quite hot together, and I enjoyed the evolution of their love. Definitely for readers who love Daddies and Littles.

Woohoo! Loved It!

Fine tuning the Little experience looks to be a winning combination from two of my favourite authors.

The collaboration of this series brings an exciting new environment for Daddies and Littles to work and play. We meet Ellie, the endearing cupcake baker extraordinaire, her Daddy to be and a slew of new potential Bigs and Littles.

There are a few little twists to make this an exciting and entertaining read.

I was so excited to hear that two of my favourite authors were working on a series together, and they haven’t disappointed. If this first book is any indication then I can’t wait to read the rest. Ellie is working hard to open her new bakery Little Cakes using the inheritance that she got from her beloved Grandmother. Garrotte owns the strip mall, when he goes to check why lights are on in the bakery he makes Ellie jump and so start’s a rollercoaster romance as they work together.

Wow! What a great opener for a wonderful new series by two best selling authors, a sweet treat that gets your mouth watering for more. Elie's opening a new bakery, her dreams are coming true finding discovering new recipes and sharing them with the world, and meeting her new building owner is the icing on the cupcake. Together they explore the wonders of a new relationship, the joys of a new business and loving every sweet morsel along the way.

This was a sweet romance in a genre I don't normally read, but it intrigues me. Garrett is completely taken with his new tenant, Ellie. Ellie is a little and Garrett is determined to be in her life. He's very patient with her. I felt like this book was pure fantasy (at least for me) and super sweet. North and Michaels are building a new series with the crew you meet in this book. The thought of someone caring so much to look after all of your needs is amazing. I love the positive vibes this story brings. If you're interested in trying dd/lg romance, I recommend this one. Garrett is the icing on the cake! 4 stars

I thought this book was quite delightful and it left me very excited to read more of this series. If you are into Daddies and their Littles, you are definitely going to want to check this out. I really liked this couple. Garrett and Ellie were sweet, hot and very fun together. I got some wonderful feels from them, and I loved watching their relationship and feeling grow. A well written Daddy/Little book which will, no doubt, please fans of this genre. With sympathetic characters and a lot of warmth, it is a good example of the style. I somehow managed to miss( call it end of year brain freeze) that the book was in this category of romance as it isn't my usual call, however I could appreciate it for its writing. 💖💖💖

I finally read a Pepper North book. If you go around looking for DDLG books, I always see this author's name. I can see why because the writing is good and I love how she integrated the DDLG lifestyle into Garrett and Ellie’s everyday life. Great start to a new series! Ellie is opening a new bakery and by chance, well unlocked door, meets the owner of the property. From there they realize they belong together. A Delight to Read

Little Cakes is the name Ellie of her own Bakery using the inheritance from her grandmother.
Garrett is the landlord of the strip mall.
This is the first in the new series and it is a real delight.
Lots of feelings that Little girls have and think that their Daddys do not have a clue about what is going on in the heads and hearts.
As with any relationship, there are ups and downs and thankfully the ups out-weight the downs.
Every character in this book brings a little something new and amazing to the story.

This is a wonderful start to a new series. Two of my favorite authors, Pepper North and Paige Michaels, got together and made up a whole new world.

Ellie is a Little who is opening a new bakery, Little Cakes. She meets Garrett, her landlord, when he comes to investigate who is working so late. The two come to know each other as Little and Big and fall for one another.

I enjoyed this first book in the series and I look forward to the next one.
