Five quiet years have passed in No Where… but that’s all about to change.
Bob and Violet have four small mouths to feed. Then another pair is dumped in their laps, followed by two more. That makes eight. Life is hard enough in the UP of Northern Michigan, miles from anyone, in the middle of the apocalypse, and it just got worse.
A band of marauders, on motorcycles no less, invade No Where. What they want is simple; they want everything and will stop at nothing to get it. Their leader, who goes by God, is ruthless and demands complete obedience. The penalty for offending his warped values is death.
Bob knows they won’t survive with the Winter Warriors in town. Violet agrees, Wilson agrees. So again, they’ll do battle; a battle to the death. And to the victors go the whole of No Where.
I really enjoyed this series. It was so worth the wait for the last book. I hope there is much more to come from this author.
It was suspenseful, entertaining and humorous. All that enjoy I enjoy read. I loved all of the characters and they're individual stories. It would be nice to read more about the back story on some of them.
Not a lot new here, storytelling and characters. I keep reading. The concept of the long survival, marginal self sufficiency, and continued predation rings true. Having the Wilson’s cornucopia for when times get hard, coupled by the ability to fight bigger threats, seems a cheat.
Bob and Violet are quite a couple. A little crazy maybe but good people at heart. I had to finish the “saga” of No Where… I couldn’t understand why Wilson never told Bob why he shouldn’t worry about the Winter Warriors. Dint make sense but it’s not my story. Still was quite a tail.
Although it has taken some time since the original four books in the series allowed these characters to crawl into our hearts and take root it was worth the wait to catch up on what has been happening in No Where. Can't wait for Spring and book six!
Perfect ending to this wonderful series! Well defined characters! Although it is a serious book there were many amusing moments that really brought this book to life! I highly recommend this whole series!
I absolutely love this series. I read a lot of post apocalyptic fiction and No Where is one of my favorites! I can't wait to see what happens in book 6!
