A warm-hearted novella packed with lust, longing and lost luggage, this the perfect Valentine’s day treat from the internationally bestselling author of smash-hit rom com, Our Stop.

The rights to Laura's international bestseller Our Stop have been sold for television, and her books have been translated into languages all over the world. She loves romance, being a parent, and lifting very heavy weights.
The Wrong Suitcase is a short and sweet romance novella.
I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook! The author’s narration was wonderful, I loved her accent!!
I might pick up more books by this author in the future…
❝I was never supposed to be here with anyone else. I was never supposed to get the right luggage delivered to my room. It was always going to be this way.❞

Even though the premise is one of the most popular ones in the romcom world i.e, Suitcase exchange between the leads, I wasn't impressed by the book. Lack of comedy and angst can be the main reasons.
The descriptions were nice though and I LOVE the cover.
2022 Book 23 Even though this book is just 100 pages, I couldn't wait to finish it. For the first time in my life I hate every single thing about a book. There is nothing likable about it. The story is so cliché and the main characters are SO FUCKING ANNOYING.
What did I think about it? It was okay. I mean the only thing I was wondering was didn't Izzy and Sam just label their luggage in the first place? 🤷♀️
What a witty, bold and funny short story! I was giggling, I was cheering, I had so much fun listening to the story of Izzy and Sam and their suitcase mix-up. An amazing 2-hour getaway to a wedding in Tuscany, in the company of the author whose narration is hilarious. This book is an instant mood booster!
Many thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK Audio for an Advance Review Copy.
This was quite cute, but I was put off by how grumpy Sam was. I understand he was frustrated and down on his luck, and I know it's only a short novella, but I feel like his apology into flirting was a bit rushed. They should have spent longer making Izzy and the reader know he's actually a decent guy who just got caught having a bad day.
A sweet, endearing chick-lit novella with a little bit of naughtiness. Quite simply put, I loved it. I couldn't stop laughing. It is so British and the author's narration adds to the hilarity of it.
I hate to admit to this, but I've not read anything by Laura Jane Williams before and I feel I have missed out. I will be rectifying this post-haste lol Honestly, a fantastic read/listen full of witty characters and fantastic one-liners. I adored Birchy (Sam) & Izzy. 🥰🧳
A perfect Valentine's Day gift for ears as well as the heart.
Massive thank you to NetGalley & Harper Collins UK Publishing for the gift of this audio arc in return for my honest review.
A cute read which could have been a bit better if I had known the characters well. Anyway, I enjoyed listening to this audiobook (read by the author herself) and it was really fun.
The Wrong Suitcase by Laura Jane Williams was adorable! It’s my favorite 2022 novella. It was a great story with lots of wonderful moments. Sam and Izzy were well developed and precious. If you love a good novella then this is the one for you. I loved everything about it and highly recommend. I chose to listen to this book on audio and the author narrated this and she should do narrating full time! She was that good. Thanks Avon via NetGalley.
A lovely heartwarming novella. Although we didn’t find out too much about the characters, they were all very likeable. I would have love to have known more about Birch and Izzy’s story after the wedding but looking toward to reading LJW’s next novel ‘One Night with You’ soon! 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is just the perfect love story packaged into a small suitcase.
📚 dual POV 📚 novella
Spice 🌶️
When strangers Izzy & Sam accidentally end up with the others suitcase on the way to a wedding in a romantic Italian castle, drama and sparks ensue.
Fast paced (as you’d expect from a novella) and some great chemistry between the leads.
“It feels like we’re suddenly closer. The gap between us feels smaller. And with the faintest movement, Sam brushes his fingertips against mine.”
Only two small gripes. 1. Audiobook would have benefited from a male and female narrator to clearly distinguish between Izzy & Sam’s voices 2. Wish it was longer so we could get more of their love story (so more of a compliment as I enjoyed the characters & story so much)
“The only thing better than going on holiday. Planning a holiday.” - Izzy
It’s a high 3 star. CAWPILE 6.8 For what it is, a short story, it’s really cute! The thing is that it really lacks depth and the romance happens a bit too much out of nowhere

The Wrong Suitcase de Laura Jane Williams
Argumento:
LUGAR CORRECTO
UNPOPULAR OPINION I HATED IZZY…. i said what i said
I’m not reading this book two because it was it was a short story. I love a short story when it’s written well. however, I hated Izzy. Yes it was a short story and that is what it is however, Izzy was very insufferable. I just didn’t enjoy her as a character and to be honest maybe takes the cake for being in the running for one of the worst main characters in a book. She was so selfish. Sam was ok. I definitely enjoyed reading his chapters more because of my strong dislike towards Izzy, but truly this book was just kind of less than mid and there are many other short story romcom I would recommend before this. The story was cute and I would’ve liked it more if the characters were a lot better.
also all the twilight references… listen we love a book reference, however…. We did not love this.
This was such a cute little novella, I thought the story was so lovely. I listened to this as an audiobook read by the author and her voice is so nice to listen to, and the accent!! CUTE!
I didn’t give this 5 stars, but that’s mainly because I would’ve loved it so much if I got to know more about these characters and the development of their relationships, but obviously, because this was a novella, that’s harder. I would’ve read this if it were a full-on novel though, a great story!
I love that Laura is releasing this book around Valentine’s Day as a treat for us all - and that she has narrated the audio herself! Like the rest of the bookstagram community I am very eagerly anticipating LJW’s latest novel - One Night With You, so having this little novella to bridge the gap is just perfect.
Set in a lavish Tuscan castle, our MC, Izzy is recently out of a relationship and attending her best friends wedding, unfortunately her bag has been lost and she’s been left with a bag full of men’s clothes and shoes - chaos ensues and she stumbles upon a chance encounter with handsome, newly dumped Sam, could there be a little more on the cards for Izzy?
This fun packed, lustful novella was just the antidote to a dreary winter day - I loved LJW’s narration and I adored the characters and their connection. If you’re after a rom com, look no further!
This was a super cute novella! I enjoyed the romantic wedding setting, the meet-cute was adorable and the two main characters had a great amount of chemistry for such a short story 💘
this was a quick, cute, quirky read for valentines day about Izzy and Sam and have a cute meet cute in Italy when they accidentally receive each others luggage.
