From a young age, they loved each other, and now, they finally admit it.
Link Stanton has understood the situation; he intends to inform his best friend upon his arrival in their hometown that he loves him. However, Andy Larson feels the same way. Both men have engaged in discussions with their parents regarding each other, and it appears that everyone concurs that the two are inseparable and destined for one another.
This short story gives the 'other side' to the version from the main book.
This was super short but it was really nice to get Link's take on "that night to remember". I wish there was more to this series.
QUICK THOUGHTS
** Super short easy read ** Holiday/Christmas ** Childhood friends to lovers ** Family and friends ** Swoon worthy event ** NOT a stand alone, must read Remember When first
I was slightly confused when reading this as while what I read was sweet, and the characters seemed ok, the writing good, it didn’t feel *complete*. Then I got to the end and found out it was actually part of a series and to be honest I’d probably missed that, but yea, this is a sweet little read, but not complete in itself I don’t think. I’m going to be trying to find the main story to read I think.
This short story was short in a lot of ways: plot - hardly discernable, character development - absent, beginning - abrupt, ending - like hitting a stone wall and overall likeability - nonexistent.
I won't deign to go further. This story didn't/doesn't deserve any more of my time and attention.
