This review is specific to the first book in the series Going Down Easy but I want to assure you right now that ALL the books in the series are awesome! I did not want this series to end it was so good! Wow wow wow!!! What can I say about Going Down Easy? This is another example of what an incredible author Carly Phillips is! I always think that there is no way I could love a couple more than the last one and then I am proved wrong again and again. In this book you have Kaden a man that knows how to get things done and wants them done right. Kaden's quirks and bulldog demeanor have made him go through more assistants than most do in many years. His personality and his attitude of 'they all eventually leave' has made this his normal. Enter the beautiful Lexie who is very no nonsense and determined to be exactly the type of assistant he needs. Lexie will just have to ignore the butterflies she gets around him. Lexie is the girl who always does for herself last, choosing her family obligations over anything she may want or need. Can Kaden help his sexy nurse get through her demons while he fights his own? Will they be able to pull through stronger on the other side? This book is a must read when I got it I was unable to put it down and that's just fine by me.

Kaden is a dick but a millionaire who gets a new assistant named Lexi, add in some drama and you have yourselves an office romance that wasn’t really spesh but an easy read. I did listen to the audiobook was blah and read in third person by a famle so that’s a no go 🤷🏻♀️

Lucas has been in love with his childhood bestie Maxie only she’s married to his wank of a brother. This started off cray cray so check triggers but uhhh it was still shit. The storyline was mediocre but the plot was nonexistent.
Some pure AWKWARD moments that killed my life and made me cringe…💀🤣🥴

He halted “Are you okay baby?”

Derek West was once the 'helps' son to the Storm family, before some drama happened and they got let go. Years later Cassie Storm requests an interview from the self made billionaire and their faced to hash out the past. Their story was much better then the other two and actually had a decent story line, some what of a plot but it was tied together nicely!
The narration was the same female only for all POV andddd read in third person💀

I had 30 minutes to go in the audiobook when it stopped… surprise surprise, Carly Phillips has taken this off the Audible catalog and is now charging people for it.. not to mention she has the audacity to charge $15 bucks for the ebook.

Chirp Audiobook
I bought this collection on Chirp because it was deeply discounted. I’ve read them before & gave most of them 4⭐️’s. Upon reread, I think I was in a giving mood before. These are average, not great, not terrible. We’ve got 4 guys who used to be best friends & now only 3 of them are. They do businessy things & each fall in love. The romances are ethically questionable. One falls for his PA, one his dead brother’s wife (extenuating circumstances) and one with a woman who is writing an article about him. The fly in the ointment is the final story. The 4th guy, who was the villain in the first books, suddenly wants to right his wrongs—but are people that forgiving? I mean I don’t know anyone who would have let him back in their lives. Maybe forgive him, but actually let him back in their lives, trust him again. No way.

Wow
This series was a great mixture of stories. From a guy who had control issues and a woman who new how to get around him, to a second chance at love that family members had tried to keep them apart. A love story of star crossed lovers that had lots of past lies, to the final one of a man that had betrayed his love and had a wake up call over what he had done to her. Narration was awesome too Sophie did a great job.

Great Collection! These books were enjoyable with plenty of true life situations, without tons on unnecessary drama. Plenty of hot passionate love scenes!

GOING DOWN EASY
Just finished Going Down Easy....Kade and Lexie are perfectly imperfect and so perfect for each other. Carly did a great job getting me hooked on the story and I was upset when ever I had to put it down. There are so many other interesting people in this story that will need stories of their own. Can't wait for Going Down Fast.... Lucas and Maxie's story.

I read GOING DOWN FAST (Billionaire Bad Boys #2) in one day...I could hardly put it down to eat. I am totally in love with Lucas and wish I was Maxie. I always enjoy Carly's books and this one is going to be hard to get over. I don't know how I'll wait till next year for Derek's story GOING DOWN HARD. I will set a memo to read this one and GOING DOWN EASY again before it comes out. This book gets 5+ stars.

Each book just gets better....Derek is all that I hoped he would be and more.. Cassie is his perfect match ...and I want a Oscar of my own...I was afraid their past would be too much for them to get over but I should have known better...I did not want to finish this book...now what am I going to do with myself? I will be waiting for Kendell and Julian's story in GOING IN DEEP in May.

I never thought I could even like Julian and now I'm in love with him. I have also come to a much better understanding of Kendall's issues. Needless to say Steve and Waffles were great. I was glad to spend a little more time with Lexie and Kade and to see everyone grow. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to preview this book...Another great job Carly!
