The first volume was really good , but later it got more delibrate , things happening without reason and logic and this supposedly peace loving person who doesnt want to be the center of attention turns out to have a very inflated ego and putting his nose in matters that doesnt concern him just asking to be exposed then he started falling in love and play hero who saves the beauty which was the last straw for me where is your delibrate planning of being a mastermind behind the scenes just acting like an idiot while using chess players reputation and image for being smart which i cant say he is he is quite ordinary with him having the knowledge of the entire novel in his grasp he should have been better , unlike fang yuan from RI and han xiao from the legendary mechanic , men characters here are for the mc and the female mls to abuse ( egoistic idiots , brutes , weak cowards , and most importantly total animals running after girls waiting to be slapped i really wanted to throw the book a few times after this scenes
a very awesome sauce story that builfs character through like 600?????????+ chapters probs fav book of all time read it pls. Mc is very complex and has multiple layers built every arc - plot twist is unexpected and makes you have a different perspective of every arc from the past. Overall, epic awesome sauce 1000000000000/10 book recommend pls read.
At first, I thought it’d be just another transmigration story, but wow—the twists! Kelvin & Ren, what a role it was! It blew my mind. The characters are complex, and each arc adds new layers of suspense and depth. The author’s creativity with the plot and world-building kept me hooked till the end. Perfect for fantasy lovers craving fresh, unpredictable storytelling!
It’s been a while since I’ve read the book but the characters are really well developed, their interactions and relationships with each other are really fleshed out. The power system, world building, and plot twists make the story even more engaging as well!
Amanda and Ren’s relationship was so fun to see develop as well, it was really well done!!
A classic but good nonetheless, i would rather give this a 3.5 stars but i don’t think that’s possible. Would have easily been a 4 stars if the last third of the novel wasn’t so horribly executed. It felt like a different novel. Incredibly rushed as well. The plot twists are good though in this and it’s definitely a very fun read. But just like so may stories the ending is just not good at all.
Frankly, the book is wonderful. I liked the story very much, because it is interesting and contains a lot of ambiguity in terms of the character of the hero. The events become more interesting as the seasons progress
Suffers from the famous curse of not having the end outlined well for the story. It tries to create plot twists to the extent that Scooby Doo villains' disguises have less layers than the plot twists.
