Cricket Kendall should be the happiest girl in the universe. She’s eighteen, one of the most powerful witches seen in centuries, and she’s lucky enough to have three hot werewolf mates.
But while her relationship with Theo, Hollis, and Cas is solid, Cricket may not be ready to deal with everything else going on around her. She’s struggling to accept her place as alpha alongside Theo in their growing pack, her relationships with her parents and aunt are rocky at best, and high school drama seems to be never-ending.
The guys are dealing with their own problems too, and they’re struggling to handle things while supporting Cricket. Theo’s family still doesn’t believe he makes a good alpha, and he’s desperate to prove himself. Hollis has always been the glue that holds his pack together, but he’s beginning to feel insecure in his place. And then there’s Cas—after the drama-filled weekend that nearly resulted in him losing Cricket, he’s terrified he’ll never be able to truly make it up to her.
Cricket is certain everything will work out…eventually. She just needs to stay strong for her mates, her pack, and her inner circle.

HANDS DOWN ONE OF MY FAVOURITE RH SERIES 4/5 stars Luna Witch picks up straight after Wandering Star. It's jam-packed with romance, drama and comedy. I can't begin to express my love for these books. I could NOT put this book down as soon as I had my hands on it. Luna Witch expanded on everyone's personalities, the multiple POV's not just from the main characters but also the side characters were amazing to read about. I CAN'T DECIDE BETWEEN OLIVER, BRENNAN, EMMERSON AND RAINER. (Secretly wishing for Emmerson and Rainer though.) Okay, but can we talk about Cassian's ear. Poor Cas, throughout the whole book I was wondering what the next option was for him. WE SEE FURIOUS HOLLIS. Loudly applauding how he handled Paisley. Highly approved of everyone's Les Mis audition songs. I thought that was very fitting for each of their characters. Very excited to see who everyone is playing. The last 20% of the book was SO GOOD. I think we can all agree our dislike for Imogen has been slowly building as soon as we were introduced to Rainer. The way I was dying when I read Cricket's first introduction with the Alpha pair, had me in stitches. I'm super excited to read about the upcoming Mabon festivities and the *special* summer celebration. HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE READ THIS SERIES.
Overall I really enjoy this series. I am a huge fan of Cricket & her mates, their relationship, the world building, etc. and I'm so excited to see what happens next. I also love seeing the FMC having a big support system outside of her harem, which I feel is rare in other RH books. We get more Rainer in this book and it just furthered my love for him. There isn't nearly as much relationship angst (like in the previous one). Just occasional bouts of jealousy that go away fast and snippets of high school mean girl drama.
But the series does have some draw backs due to my personal preferences. This series has so many side characters and I believe, if I counted correctly, there are like 14 chapters from the side characters POVs. I am the type of reader who really only cares about the MCs, so I didn't enjoy these chapters & found it difficult to care about what was going on in the others lives if it didn't pertain to the main story. I don't love all the side character romances going on because it is very unclear who actually likes who and who is together as it seems they all just kinda like each other. I also struggle with the amount of time that passes in each book as I really want more plot things to happen-the books focus on more day to day things so I think maybe a week passes in this one?
Okay so this has been one of my comfort reads, i do like how sweet and cozy this is, plus some angst (okay not so much in this book tho) and jealousy on that. We get to read from a lot of peoples PoV, which was both good and bad. Good in which i enjoyed reading what they all been up to and how they are viewing things. Like Rainer i can read more of his view, also Brennan, Xavier, Erin and ofc the guys PoV. The bad thing was that the story was not going forward that much, i am just waiting for something to happen. I have some things i don´t like, there where people getting on my nerves a lot especially some bitches named Imogen and Paisley. But Gigi showed another face as well so i am torn how to feel about her. Mildred was also getting on my nerves but not for being a bitch, but it´s painful for me to read from a PoV where the girl(who is not the fmc) is crushing so hard and fangirling over one of the fmc guys so much... I feel like she is gonna confess to Cas in the future, i hope she will not join Cricket´s "circle". I feel like if she was seemed as hot she would 100% try and take Cas for herself. She is always saying that she got no chance (with that she is a bit bigger and not popular and stuff). Plus i have not forgot Alice and Karma, they are also not on my good list. I got my eyes on them. Damn these girls and boys really love the guys, like even the new people is falling for them.. They are like omg Cas is so hot, both the guys and the girls. Jesus, chill guys. I am so happy for Rainer, he is one of my fave characters. I love how honest, loyal he is too Cricket and the guys. I just need more of him!!! I think he and Emerson would be good together😍 I would love if Cricket got a girl bestie who is not smitten and going boy crazy over her guys. I just wish she had a girlfriend who got her back and maybe just could think the guys are looking good without being attracted to them like the whole school is being, lol. Someone outside of school
I like Cricket how confident she is, which i have liked from day one. She forgave a lil bit fast sometimes i felt like. Not just with the Cas incident but in general. I like all of em, Theo, Hollis and Cas. Even if they can be pretty annoying sometimes. The best moment is when they can be free and just run around and play with each other in the woods.
And damn i did not think Jack would turn up like that, what an asshat. Poor Erin, i actually missed her since we did not really see her that much in this book. I also liked the scene when Cricket met Theo, Hollis and Cas family, Theos cousins pack. I just wished we got more of that. I assume we will see them more in the next book. I am so excited for Mabon in the next book, i am so ready for Cricket to kick ass and show them how powerful she is! I am soo looking forward to the next book, which is gonna be epic!
I don't even remember how I stumbled upon the Cricket series by the awesome Willow Hadley but I do remember it quickly became my obsession. Reading this series was the first time I realized how much I needed this type of delicious sweetness in my life.
Anyone who has read book three knows the action and intensity seriously jumped the latter half of the book. With book four we find our favorite characters on the other side of some significant changes and revelations. It's still incredibly sweet, but book four had a poignant feel to it. So many different characters, each experiencing their own insecurities and regrets. It all felt very authentic and touching. Don't get me wrong, Cricket and her gang are still hilarious, so many funny or awkward things go down, but there was an extra touch of emotion to this book, at least for me. One of the things I hands down love the most is the way Willow always seems to leave us in a gentle space at the end of each installment. Am I eager for the next book? Absolutely! But I'm not miserable and tied up in knots? Nope. I appreciate the HFN ending of each installment. If you've been holding off because you hate cliff hangers, I highly encourage you to join the adventure. You're going to enjoy the ride.
Yay! These just keep getting better!! I just love all the characters and want to squeeze them! If you’re a fan of the side characters at all you’ll be stoked with this book. Bren, Ranier, Xavier and Emory all really shined in this book. I loved getting to know more about Oliver, who we were teased with at the end of the last book. It’s been a while since book 3 came out and I debated doing a re-read but BOY am I glad I did! This is so character driven. Also! Sexy times! Guys! This series was a slow burn but we’re seeking more steam from our group! Of course Cricket and the guys are all still so fun to read about. The feel good vibes we all expect from Willow Hadley are here in spades.
One thing I mentioned in my previous review was how slow time passes in these books. That’s still a thing- the entire book happened over the course of a week or 2.
Overall I think all of the characters are super likable and I find myself very interested in all the side characters- I don’t think there’s a single side character (except freaking Alice) that I’m not interested in. I can’t WAIT for the next book!
I LOVE Cricket, she is just the sweetest, funniest and most loving character. So for that, if I could, I would give this a 3.5star
However, seeing as this was yet another book in this series were nothing really happened, I can't in good faith give it more than 3 stars. I think all the eveyday-stuff is fun, I enjoy connecting and learning all the different characters, but I really wish the plot moved forward faster.
(Also, does _everyone_ have to have their voice heard as their own POV? Because for me, it feels very crowded, and most of them add very little to the story).
•••I recieved a free copy of this book for my honest review, all opinions are my own•••
Oh wow! I know I said the last book was my favorite so far but this one blew it out of the water! There was so much happening in this book. New characters and new revelations. Pleasantly surprised about Xavier being a sensitive and I love that it was added into the story. There are a few people I want to hook up too! And the mate marks on Killian?! Then nothing about him after that. Why would you do that to me?! He’s not even supernatural so this is truly special. And I hope there are good things and a great love for Emerson since he is heartbroken over it. And the steam in this one was HOT! Oh, I have my theories on some couples….or maybe even a new harem building….maybe….I REALLY hope so! And it would be my first all male harem too! Please! God, this book was amazing! I need more now! Don’t make me wait long 😭😭😭 I thought this was the last book from reading a few of the reviews but I was wrong 😫
Favourite installment so far!! Guyyyyys you need to read this! All the sugary sweetness you've come to know and love from Willow's books, but with a whole heaping spoonful of spice to go with it!! I am dyyyyying!!! Beautiful character development, new characters and one hell of a show down with a rival!!
I am enjoying this series. This one picks up right where book 3 ended, so we don’t miss a thing. It’s super sweet and the spice it heating things up. Cant see where it goes after this
I'm going to preface this by saying I love this series so I've got some bias that works for and against it.
We are four books in with this series and I am 100% ok with a slower, meandering pace but not if it comes at the expense of the group dynamic getting stagnant or worse, unraveling.
This far in, particularly now that the mate marks appeared and everyone is on the same page, the group should be stronger and more cohesive but they aren't, at all. In all the other books you really felt that they were working and operating as a group but in this one, the focus seemed to be on expanding the pack instead of making sure the core stayed solid.
Cas lost an ear and it was treated like something they could put on the backburner since there was so much going on but there was time for a football game and party? Same with Hollis's situation with his parents or Theo chafing more and more under Hawthorne. It is constantly brought up that Hawthorne's approach, while well intentioned, is doing the group more harm than good but they never talk to Hawthorne about it.
It doesn't help that the story is also trying to focus on the individual ships at the same time. Equal time and affection for each partner is the key to a good RH or poly story but this is a bad time to shift to that element when the group is still in flux and so unsettled.
And as much as I like Rainer, Oliver, Emerson, Keely and Bren, I just really felt like this book should have focused on solidifying the group because once those relationships are solid, you have a base to set up the conflicts being foreshadowed.
So off all the books in this series, this was my least favorite and honestly, if I didn't love this series so much I probably would have rated it lower than I did.

While I enjoyed this series, I wasn’t a fan of a few things.
1) why on earth was there so many random perspectives? I understand some of them, and I’m assuming there’s another book to come out- but it just caught me off guard.
2) I thought everything was fine with jack/erin and the gang? Then jack gets Erin and suddenly he has problems?
3) the pace of these books was SO friggen slow. I enjoyed the story line but each book drags its ass like my dog on the carpet.
4) I don’t know why this bothered me so much but if cricket is so powerful why the heck didn’t she just grow cassians ear back? I had this strange thought about Hollis like puking it up and she would fix it LOL. That one’s on me, but ON THAT NOTE- it’s focused so much in the beginning of the book that Cass is having troubles hearing and is getting dizzy/ringing spells but then it just wasn’t brought up again? I don’t understand that. It felt like he should have said something to SOMEONE.
I got about 15-20% through this book when a new book came out from a different author I love, so I put this one on hold to read that. That one took me almost a week to read just because life got busy, and the whole time I didn't really think about this book at all. That put me off a bit, because it made me realise I wasn't that invested in this particular book, and I struggled to get back into it. But around the 60% mark I finally got hooked back in and then was loving it again. It's definitely the kind of series you have to be in the right mood for. It's great if you don't mind lots of fluff but it doesn't have a lot of plot or excitement to keep you hooked.
Once we got past all of that, there were quite a few positives to this book. I love how many different characters' stories we get to see in this series. It does slow down the pace a lot, but seeing the budding romances between several different characters is almost like getting to read multiple books in one. Sometimes the transitions between storylines can be a bit jarring but the characters are all so lovable it's easy to get hooked into their POVs.
Anyway, after a rocky start to this book I'm back into the series and can't wait for the release of the next one!

For some reason this story is so addicting, but we're 4 books in now and we've only made it like 3/4?? weeks into the school year? And we have a couple weeks to go before Mabon and then a week (maybe) after that to make it to the full moon for their mating ceremony. That's like 3 more books. And then a whole year before their marriage? I can't get behind this slow asf pace. So much is going on with not only extremely detailed minute by minute accounts of each day, but we're also thrown POVs from any side characters available (and there are tons--I don't even remember everyone at this point). And on top of all of that, they're trying out for a musical. I guess it's to break up the monotony of every day being described in such detail, but the story is focusing on anything but the actual plot.
Positives: I love how Cricket's relationship is evolving with the guys. They're slowly becoming a solid unit and I'm excited to see how they'll grow as a pack in the future (if we ever get there ughhhh).
That ish with Immogen and her pack? Awesome. She put her AND Elias AND Hawthorn in their places in the span of like three days.
Stella's growing relationship with the guys is precious.
I didn't mention it in earlier reviews, but I really love that Cricket and Cas' family speak French with each other. It's a sweet touch that I adore every time it happens.
‼️SPOILERS‼️ Let's have a moment to remember that they swore to never use their alpha voice in their relationship, but only for pack business, but Theo is using it in the bedroom during foursomes? Yikes. That's not sexy. The biggest part of submission in the bedroom is choosing to submit.
I'm also upset for Hollis because on his day with Cricket she decided to do a bunch of other things that included everyone else and then their morning was disturbed for a meeting that could have taken place at another time. It shouldn't be such a big deal, but when the timeline is so short (each book = 1 week) then every moment hold a much bigger impact.
On that same thread, they keep saying things like "we always do/say this" but it's been like two days since the last book where they definitely weren't doing or saying that stuff. And when in the timeline did they ever practice for the musical auditions? Every moment was detailed, and it never happened.
Also I have no idea why no one in this story can communicate. Almost every major issue is because of miscommunication.
Lastly, who tf will end up together? Em/Bren? Bren/Rainier? Bren/Ralph? Ralph/Oli? Rainier/Em? Oli/Rainier? This is killing meeeee. And if Killian and Alice are mates I will scream.
This is going to be a review for all of the books!
This is pure golden retriever energy all over it! I really loved the perspective that the book had about paranormal stuff. I also enjoyed the tension regarding fated mates too. Sometimes it’s an all or nothing vibe with dated mates: either is a hell yes or a fuck no.
However, I am struggling with how each book ended. I found them all to be abrupt. I truly didn’t anticipate them ending that way at all. I will acknowledge that most other books I have read have a sense of finality that gives you the impression that it’s going to be ending soon. So again this could be an individual reader thing. Additionally there are so many loose ends, in the final book, that were never addressed at all. Killian having mating marks?? Her inner circle?? Emerson’s role? Erin’s whole situation? I am struggling to understand the purpose of bringing up a High Council of sorts if it’s not actually relevant to the story. Oliver? What was his purpose? I think the choppiness of the plot is primary issue here.
The intensity of the love for one another was cute initially but it quickly became cringe worthy by the final book. That much acceptance and lack of appropriate conflict/tension in regards to their polyamorous relationship was frustrating. There were several times when it was normal for Cricket to be incredibly upset with her mates and she was suddenly all love and light within a few minutes.
This is an individual reader opinion, but I have hard time caring about different perspectives if it’s not from the main characters. I truly didn’t give a flying fuck about Ralph, Xavier, Brennan, Erin and Oliver. I do think that it’s because they’re in Cricket’s pack? They gave very little relevant information and I felt that it took away from the story and instead contributed it to the choppiness
Another aspect that really didn’t make sense was the shift in extreme when discussing Cricket’s personality. It’s not normal nor feasible to identify that she had little to no friends and suddenly was the life of the party at a new place. I do appreciate her lack of fucks to give. It was refreshing to have a main character be confident in themselves.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, because I love Cricket’s story and it was as good as I hoped, maybe even better. I read it like in 7 hours and couldn’t focus on anything else until I hit the last page. There are again funny and sweet moments and moments that will make you cry and cause you a heartbreak. This book is also a lot more steamy than the previous one and I can’t wait for more moments like this. Cricket and the guys are starting to form their pack and some of them voice their insecurities along the way. Cricket and her mates deal with it like champs and again show why they are the best pack and her and Theo the best alphas. There are also mixing up some side relationships and I can’t wait to see where it all ends. We didn’t get to see Kill in this book almost at all but we’ve learned some vital information about him which I didn’t expect at all. It will be curious to see him tell Cricket his secret. We also finally got a highly anticipated confrontation between Cricket and Imogen and it was done really well. Cricket makes such a good alpha. I was so happy to get more Rainer time as well. It was heartbreaking to see him struggle and talk about himself the way he did. I cried like a baby at the end of the book when he finally talked to Cricket. The only thing I’m still not comfortable with is Cas’s and Mildred’s relationship. I just don’t have a good feeling about her and her feelings for Cas. I hope I’m wrong though. Overall I loved this book so much, it might be my favorite in the series and if I could I would give it more than 5*, because the book deserves it. Thank you Willow for giving us such a wonderful series! I can’t wait to read more.
I am seriously so thankful I stumbled upon this series and this author way back in the beginning. Every time I read one of her books, it just brings me so much joy. They are the perfect amount of sweet and sugary, while still having a kickass FMC and some crazy drama! -Luna Witch is book 4 in an ongoing series, and it is absolutely imperative you read the first 3 books before this one. -Luna Witch is a reverse harem, fated mates, paranormal romance book, so if that isn't your cup of tea, just stop now. -Luna Witch is not the last book in the series, so while lots of stuff happens, there are still many unanswered questions and plotlines open! The author has stated that she intends on having 9 books in the series, so there is still quite a ways to go! This book was so satisfying to read, because while I enjoyed the first three books, they did drag a bit. They felt like they should have probably been one large book, because the amount of time that passed in the book was not much, but there was a lot of detail and minutiae. However, in this book, it was like taking off! It had a great blend of moving the plot forward, passing time, but also going into detail about the important things. On top of that, we finally got to some of the more satisfying things you've been waiting for...namely, Rainer becoming part of the pack, Cricket meeting the other pack, and the showdown between Cricket and Imogen. WOOHOOOO, I am here for it. It was amazing. Fantastic. Exactly what I wanted. So basically, I am thrilled, lol. Anyways, lots happened in this book, I would highly recommend it, it filled me with all the feels, as usual, so, 5 stars.
I read the previous books in this series, and while there were a lot of elements I loved, I felt there was something missing. Whatever that something missing was, was found here. I think that each book gets better writing-wise which is exciting and makes me look forward to the next to see how it is improved. This book is the sappiest, cheesiest, sweetest thing and I LOVE IT! I kind of read anything and everything, all types of different books but it is definitely nice to read a cozy, comfy book that feels light and fun, while still having some more serious plot points. I found myself laughing out loud more than once in this book which is pretty rare for me, so that's awesome. Also, I have to say how much I appreciate Hadley's representation of all kinds of different characters. I love the split POVs where we get into different brains. As a queer person it is nice to see a realistic amount of queer people in a book! Instead of just one who exists solely to fulfil a stereotype or some kind of representation requirement. AND they are multifaceted people! Which is sadly uncommon if authors even bother including queer characters in the first place. I love Cricket even more than I did before, and I will quote 'forest whores, and moon sluts' till the day I die. My only complaint is the occasional over - explaining. Sometimes in dialogue, characters were saying more than what seemed necessary/natural. Other than that though, great book and was excited to pick it back up every time I put it down.
In the next installment of Cricket Kendall, we get a glimpse of life right after her birthday party and subsequent engagement (I sure hope you read the last one, or that would have been a spoiler…). At first I wasn’t sure where the story was going… I was wondering what would be the climax… but I quickly realized that the Cricket Kendall series is a wonderful lazy river, with a few swift exciting parts. Ms. Hadley is building a beautiful world and solid characters. This book brought a lot of forgiveness on Cas’s part and a lot of bubblegum sweet talk between Cricket and her guys. In all, I give this a solid 4.5. It’s building up to the Mabon meeting and their mating ceremony. They are building their pack, and I can’t wait to see what happens with some of the auxiliary characters as well- When will Cricket build her support circle, and who will be in it? What will happen with Brennan’s relationship(s) there are a lot of options here. Ms Hadley does a thorough job of being inclusive with her characters. In this installment, we have a non-binary character (briefly) and several gay characters as well-I’m rooting for their relationships just as much as anyone else. This book felt like a settling in of the story, and that there will be larger conflicts in later books. If you need a break from any dark RH story, and need something to help lighten your mood- this series is it. It’s a wonderful palette cleanser.
2.75 stars, rounded up. The writing is still pretty damn good, even if I hate certain aspects of this series. The ungodly amount of POVs from minor characters is a huge factor in why I'm so frustrated with it. I get wanting to show an outsider's perspective on the MCs and the general plot, but all of the side-romances between the minor characters was truly exhausting to read through, especially when quite a few of them keep wobbling back and forth between several love interests.
Best thing about this book was Rainier joining Cricket's pack and getting away from Imogen's dictatorship. Imogen came from a pack where females had no power, but that is no excuse for abusing her position as alpha once she had the power. It completely went to her head and her mate Elias was a total enabler. Rainier is such a sweetheart that I might come back to this series just for him.
Going into the Cricket series, I had no idea that the author wasn't finished with it. I thought there were four installments and that was that, but from the author's note at the end of this book, she's planning on having a total of nine books. I'm not sure if I'll have the patience to re-read this series in the future, but if I do, I'll definitely wait until it's been completed before trying this again. Cricket was really wearing on me and a bunch of the side characters were irritating as hell. I'm glad I got this far in the series, but I might just stick to Willow Hadley's "Smile Like You Mean It" series.
Luna Witch is the fourth book in the Cricket Kendall series. After everything that happened in the third book with Cricket, Theo, Cas, and Hollis, they are all trying to adjust to all the changes in their lives. This book was so sweet, romantic, and a little steamy. In this book you really get to see how each one thinks and their insecurities, as well as the love they have for each other. There is so much character development in this one and I really loved that! Cas, Hollis, and Theo are such sweethearts and their love for Cricket is so cute! I honestly don’t think I could pick a favorite in this book, I just love all these characters so much! Cricket is as always a strong bad*ss that doesn’t back down, I just love how confident she is. There were so many things in this story that brought a smile to my face and I cannot wait to read more in this amazing series! I honestly could go on and on about this book, but as I always say NO SPOILERS in my reviews! Anyways, go and make sure to check out this great series and make sure to check out Willow Hadley’s other books as well!
This book had everything I needed in it! It’s got lots of sweet moments, romance, a little drama, and overall it’s just a feel good story.
The plot really moved forward with this book. I feel like almost everyone made quite a bit of character growth in this installment especially Cas. I really loved to see how Mildred, especially, forgave him and helps him learn to connect with people outside his pack as well teaching him that he has a support system and is worthy for more than just his friends and money. I also loved how Cricket and Theo stand up to his family and prove themselves as alphas. There were 2 showdowns that I had been highly anticipating and lemme tell you- I was NOT disappointed. Now the series thus far had been slow burn but for those that were upset by that, rest assured the spice picks by 150% in this one and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!
Now, can I just take a minute wax poetic about Ranier? Well I’m going to even if you shake your head no anyway, so prepare yourself for the love. He is so awesome and adorable that I’m kind of upset he is not going to be in the harem but also simultaneously happy because he fits in a very unique place in Cricket’s life. Those two are so cute together that I get a sugar rush. And I feel that they are going to be integral to each other’s growth. One of my other favorite things about this series is the extremely rich storyline around all the side characters’ lives and relationships. This helps the plot really expand and stay fresh. For the most part I love all the characters although some of them (cough, Ralph and Keely, cough) show some questionable judgement and some are just twatwaffles (I’m looking right at you Imogen and Paisley). We also get to meet another new character or two. All in all a feel good romp in one of the sweetest rh series that I’ve ever read and if that isn’t enough to convince you to read it, then I have 2 words for you- Group. Scene…….
You know that feeling you get when you are snuggling up with your favorite cozy blanket, a steaming cup of coffee and a good book? That’s how I feel while reading Willow Hadley’s Cricket Kendall series. Luna Witch is the fourth book in this fuzzy and sweet paranormal RH romance, and I loved every moment!
There’s just something about these characters, it’s like being with old friends. And each new character that gets introduced has me invested right off the bat. It could be that they are all so relatable, and I appreciate how inclusive Willow is while formulating her characters.
I enjoyed the additional POV’s which added some depth to the story and it’s clear that the scene is being a set for a bigger and broader storyline beyond just high school and pack politics. This series can go in so many different directions and it’s fun to theorize about what might happen in future books.
Luna Witch had more spice than in previous books and I was not disappointed! If you are looking for a fun series with addicting characters and a super sweet romance, look no further. But fair warning, this series is extremely addictive so once you start you’ll go back and read it several times!
This book is everything I’ve been waiting for and more! I love this series and can not wait for more! The world and characters Willow Hadley has created in this series are phenomenal. Each character continues to learn and grow and build each book. The foreshadowing of drama to come has me biting my nails in anticipation. However, the sweetness and kindness that Willow is known for is very much in tact and balances out the angst. I always feel good after reading one of her books and the Cricket Kendall series will give you all the good vibes! You’ll laugh out loud, smile like an idiot, swoon and cry tears of joy! I even love to hate the antagonists and they always get smacked down in the most epic way!
You can’t go wrong with this series. Willow Hadley is always my go to when I’m in a book slump or I need a pallet cleanser after reading something dark. 10 out of 10 recommend and will come back for seconds, thirds, fourths...you catch my drift.
Oh my SWEETNESS. I absolutely adore Cricket. This is a very sweet romance, and there is such lightness that really brings out the warm fuzzies.
After everything that happened in the last book, Cricket and her mates are starting to find their way in their pack and in their relationship. Cricket is also learning more about the witch world and how that will impact her pack. You get to see behind everyone’s insecurities and how each one grows into their own individually and in the relationship. There is finally some more spice!
There is also some more side characters and their stories’ coming to life. We get to see more Rainer and how they are both are so supportive of each other. It was heartbreaking to hear his struggles, but Cricket was there for him as a friend and as an alpha, which was very heart warming.
This book had the drama, spice, and sweetness. There is a lot of things unravelling and I can't wait to find out more about this world!
