Final Proposal is the final book in the S.I.N trilogy about 3 hot billionaires brothers that happen to be triplets. These books have been hot, sexy and full of great chemistry between all the leads. BUT, I have to say, Fordham Sharpe may be my favorite. What is it about characters that have been hurt in the past that just gets me? And when it’s two of them?....I’m a goner.
2 strangers that are running away from problems at home end up getting caught in a storm where they have to wait it out in a lobby/bar of a rundown inn. Ford Sharpe has just discovered something in his father's book that doesn't sit right with him and he is feeling some sort of way, so he just needs time away from his brothers and out of the city. Meanwhile, Ellery Sinclair is done with her family. Her step brothers continuously knock her down and have given her no credit for her work and her stepfather does nothing to support her. She's ready to go out on her own and figure out her life on her terms. But getting caught in a storm with an attractive stranger was not in the plans.
Right from the beginning and their meet cute, I was in love with Ellery and Ford's chemistry. They had that je ne sais quoi. I'm so thankful that a rundown inn brought them together and ultimately reunited them in a venture that neither one of them saw coming. What follows is major sexual tension, close proximity, workplace romance with a scene of "there's only one bed" that was sexy as hell and full of vulnerability from two very strong and intelligent characters. But what really got me was seeing Ford being, well, just Ford. He has that charisma with just enough side of grumpy that made him delectable. Add in the fact that he is supportive and an amazing cheerleader for Ellery who needs it more now than ever. She hasn't had support like Fordham's since her parents and she honestly doesn't know what to do with it.
Elle and Ford are two damaged characters that form a friendship over time by working together and supporting one another. They work through their issues together, but Elle still keeps a piece of herself hidden away from Ford. That was the very small part that frustrated me a bit, but honestly, their attraction and banter more than made up for it. They were vulnerable and honest when it mattered most and the way they showed their love for one another was obvious. I enjoyed their journey to find each other and happiness with one another. Fordham the University and Celery Ellery were a team made in heaven. I absolutely love them as a couple, but I really love the relationship that Ford has with his brothers. That epilogue wrapped up the story perfectly. I'm sad this series is over, but am so thankful that Fordham and Ellery wrapped up the fun and sexy series with a side of emotional.
