Strange Lights Across the Pond

This is my first book by this author and it was an introduction into his research efforts. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. This edition focused more on UFO sightings with an occasional cryptid encounter included. I'm more of a cryptid fan. There are a number of sightings of both included and the author gives insight into his process and witnesses. There are definitely some unusual things going on across the pond. Still, this book took me longer than usual to finish, mostly because of all the unexplained light sightings which take up most of the book.

Quality remains, four books in.

Another fascinating book by Paul. Interesting, and very creepy at times. He never claims to have the answers and doesn't force an agenda in you. Need more people like this in the field as opposed to the "disclosure movement" types.

An amazing read featuring amazing stories!

This is the first Truth Proof book I've read, but it quickly became apparent that the book is self contained and that you don't need to read the other books before this one.

The book is a collection of stories of high strangeness from the North of England the that have been reported to and investigated by the author.

The stories range from UFO and glowing orb sightings, to large cats and werewolves.

If this all sounds too Sci-Fi or fantasy, then bear in mind this isn't a fiction book, but reports from normal people who the author deems of sound mind and good intentions.

Truly, this is a fantastic collection of stories and I'll definitely be reading the earlier volumes too!

The latest in this excellent series examining a wide range of unexplained phenomena in North Yorkshire. These books are all extremely readable and the author has a down to earth manner and a way of getting interesting stories from ordinary people in ordinary communities. Would also recommend these books to anyone who enjoys folklore or psychogeography. We need more researchers doing this kind of work in other parts of the country.
